Your pov.

Every time i see Valt now he just yells runs towards me and hugs me giving me a smile and saying thanks. I would go to the park and sometimes jog around and bump into Wakiya once in a while and when he tries to talk i run faster and go somewhere to were i see shu or the guys and sometimes run until he cant find me. Everytime i would go home i would pass Valts home and they would give me bread and a smile. One day i was walking with Shu because he's my boyfriend he took me to the movies. And Valt would see us and invite us in and when they would invite us to eat and we would come in i would try to sit next to Shu Nika would take my spot and make googly eyes at Shu and try to flirt with him. Then Ms. Aoi would see this and tell Nika that she is to young for things like that. Shu looked at me and Valt then when were are done eating we would go to Valts room and train sometimes even jog. I adore my new friends who knew that my new friends here would be peer boys well the ones i always hang out with of course. We would mess around Shu and the guys would give me a piggy back ride and sometimes a surprised piggy back ride to. But when we would jog and i would see Wakiya coming towards me i would either run away or get on one of their backs and tell them to mush it is so fun. One day my adoptive parents were taking my brother somewhere with his friends and i am home alone.
I asked them for permission to go jog or hang out with my friends and they gave me permission. They were going to be gone for a couple of weeks and i quickly ran inside getting on some sweats and a matching (f/c) jacket and started jogging i didnt even realize that i was passing Wakiyas house until he told me to wait for him but instead i turned around and ran back home with him following me. I got home and quickly closed the door and i heard him telling me to open the door. But i didnt open it I was in my room and i let Biscuit run around the house for a bit and i was changing Into some (f/c) sports shorts that are small and a (f/c) saggy shirt that showed my shoulders and putting my hair in a messy bun when i heard biscuit bark angrily at the door i checked and saw Wakiya still there. Then i heard my adoptive parents k9 bark his name is Max he doesnt like strangers unless we tell him that their friendly or its alright. Come to think of it Max hasn't gone on a walk for a while.

Shus pov.

I saw (y/n) sneaking out to her backyard and getting her k9 i heard wakiyas voice so i took my phone out and filmed (y/n) get the dog and then let her k9 chase wakiya away from her house i saw her call him back then stopped the video. Wakiyas face when he saw the dog wad hilarious he actually doesn't bite unless you tell him to. I put my phone down and started laughing (y/n) heard me laughing and laughed as well she was in a cute (f/c) saggy shirt and with (f/c) sports shorts and a messy bun. Thats my girl i smile at her and she smiles back.
"I love her!!!!!" i said in my head.

Your pov.

I saw Shu laugh and i laughed as well i got some dog food for Max and biscuit.

"Good job boy, good job" i whispered to him

I went inside and washed my hands i locked the back door. I really want some of Ms. Aoi's bread today and i do have some money. I changed into outgoing clothes and went to the bakery. When i did the door was closed but the sign said opened i tried opening the door but i couldn't. I knocked on the door and saw Nika i smiled at her.

Me: "hi Nika"

When she saw it was me her smile vanished.

Nika: " oh its you" she slammed the door on my face and i got mad. When i heard Valts voice and talking to Nika.

I knocked on the door again Nika opened it again but this time Valt was behind her.

Nika:" oh its still you can you just go somewhere else"

And Valt saw her slam the door on my face and yelled and Nika. I was getting mad and hungry i didnt have time for this so i walked back home with an empty stomach. I really wanted some bread. When i got home i got inside my house locked the door behind me changed into the clothes i was in earlier and jumped on my bed bed moaning of hunger. I heard somebody knocking on the door so i went to go look with biscuit following me. I opened the door and saw Valt.

Me:"oh hi Valt"

Valt:"h...hey (y/n) i saw you stopped by earlier and my sister slammed the door on your face"

Me:"yea i tried to get something to eat but it looks like i should starve to death it doesn't matter at all to your sister just like how people treated me back where i lived"

I felt my eyes stinging and tears falling down my check.

Valt:"hey are you alright"

Me:"t...the...w...way...y...your...s...sister...d...did that r...reminded me of back...w...where...i...used to live....and...how whenever i needed help people would ignore me"

Valt:"oh listen im sorry"

Me:"y...you better get going...thanks for the bread"

I closed the door and cried harder i sat on the table and looked at the bread. I felt someone looking at me and ignored it pushed the bread aside and cried on the table.

Valts pov.

When (y/n) told me how she was treated back were she used to live and saw her cry more i was sad. I went back home and i knocked on the door my mom opened it this time.

Mom:"hey Valt your back...whats wrong"

I quickly stared at Nika and scolded her. I started to cry after the story (y/n) told me.

Mom:"honey whats wrong is everything ok"

Me:"mom Nika made (y/n) cry"

My mom looked at Nika and so did Toto and she looked away.

Mom:"how did Nika made her cry"

Me:"you remember when Nika opened the door twice and slammed the door"

Mom:"yea"

Me:"well (y/n) was there and she was hungry si she decided to get something to eat here and then she told me how life for her back where she used to live was hard because when she needed help they would push her aside and when Nika slammed the door on her face it reminded her of her old life her adoptive parents thought that she would forget all about her past and start fresh but Nika brought it back she didnt even eat the bread i brought her instead she pushed it aside and cried on the table"

My mother started crying to and so did toto except Nika its like she hates (y/n). My mother got on her feet and told Nika to go to her room.

Mom:" what about her actual parents"

Me:"they died"

I thought everything was going to be different here but it turns out i wad wrong.
