On the outside of the grayscale the sun rose over the land shining brightly as Valt collapsed onto the ground. His power darkened around him.

Shu regardless of his pain along with Sasha and Free ran over him.

"No."

The mood darkened around them as Theodore's energy started darkening their resonance but before Theodre could corrupt them Valtryek came flying out of nowhere and landed on the ground catching Theodore off guard.

He dropped Free, Sasha and Shu to the ground and looked over at Valt in anger.

"You can't corrupt someone who's already been corrupted." he said with a smile.

"Valt, is it really you? No more of the in between the dark power?" Sasha asked, looking up at him with joy in her eyes.

"It is and I can control it now."

Turning back to the battle everyone left stood up behind Valt determined to help him win however they could.

"Remember Valt, you're not fighting this battle alone, I know you've had to endure so much from Theodore but you're not alone and never will be." Shu said with a smile.

"Remember you aren't just fighting to defeat Theodore you're fighting to save everyone from Theodore including yourself." Sasha added.

"You're right, which is why I need you to give me your power. We're going to finish this battle together."

Standing back into the battle, Sasha, Free, Shu and even Nightfell let the last of their power all go into Valt feeding him strength making Valtryek spin even faster than before.

His resonance turned a beautiful shade of orange making Sasha's eyes widen.

"I've seen this before, this isn't Free's borrowed golden power, this happened because we were lending him strength."

But on the other side of the stadium, the piece of Phoenix that is in Amaterios was now towering over Theodore. His body hung like a rag doll and his smile was etched into his face with his eyes glowing like mad black orbs. His dark black power was growing in size as the Phoenix screeched.

"I'll put everything I have into one final attack." Valt said with his own eyes glowing yellow orange.

"That's not Theodore anymore...." Sasha said to herself.

"YoU sHOuld Be sCarEd."

"I am scared, you've always scared me Theodore, but losing to you isn't what scares me the most. Because even if I am under your control Theodore, there will always be someone else to beat you. A long time ago Theodore you told me every power has an opposite, light has darkness, and even your power has an opposite, haven't you ever wondered what it might be? Your power is copying from other bladers but your opposite is instead embracing those around you, that is my true power."

Glowing golden orange Valt yelled with Valtryek lighting up with the last of everyones power he poured everything into Valtryek and sent it off speeding at Theodore and Amaterios.

Valt's own resonance glowed a mixture of gold, blue, purple and orange and all rolling into the same color: white.

The white power around Valtryek clashed into Amaterios lighting up the sky with opposing colors: black and white. Valt held out his hands and closed his eyes letting the white resonance take over the sky blinding everyone causing them to put their hands over their faces.

But with Theodore weakened, Valtryek easily sent Amaterios flying into the earth, breaking it into pieces.

The Phoenix above Theodore wavered and with having no bey to no longer reside took refuge in Theodore.

Theodore fell to the ground, weakened, struggling and shaking.

Valt fell and wobbled but managed to get up.

The dark power was no longer inside him and for the first time in months his eyes looked clearer and his skin and health seemed better.

"Valt!" Sasha said, running over to him, giving him a hug.

Valt hugged her back smiling.

Shu came over wearing a smile as well with Free.

"But how did you manage to get rid of the dark power?"

"It wasn't me, when Phoenix had nowhere to go it took back its power along with Phi's ability to corrupt others."

"Then, is it really you Valt?"

"Yes." he said with a smile.

Sasha only squeezed him harder.
But when she pulled away, Valt dug Valtryek out of the debris and widened his eyes.

Valtryek was in pieces and its wings were broken off and covered in cracks.

"I don't think we can fix it." he said quietly.

"No but we may be able to use it to combine it with this one."Shu said, holding out the old version of Valtryek.

Valt smiled holding his old bey, feeling the old Valtryek that still resided in it.

"You know when I was corrupted I named my new bey Venge Valtryek. It was never meant to be evil unlike Nemesis Valtryek but instead it was like I was stuck, trapped. It was never meant to be Avenge, Vengeance or Revenge Valtryek but it was meant to be a sign for you Shu. If Theodore had ever entered me in any tournaments you would've known I wouldn't have truly been corrupted."

"But no blader can truly be corrupted, Theodore taught me that the energy can't be destroyed just like how the light can't."

Rising out of the debris Theodore was covered in bruises and clenched in his fist were the pieces of Amaterios still giving Theodore power.

Valt stepped between Theodore and his friends wearing a determined expression.

"You're pathetic Theodore, you only use resonance and beyblade to make up for the fact that deep down you're afraid it'll never be enough. Did you really think you could defeat me with borrowed power that isn't yours? You stole that power, can you still even fight without it? You copy off of others relying and depending on them otherwise you wouldn't even have any power. You would be powerless."

"It really is sad what happened to you" Valt said softly before turning back to his friends.

"You want my origin story?" Theodore said with a shadow over his face.

Valt paused along with everyone else.

"They used to call me the Prodigy."

"I was feared and powerful, until Ethan stopped my reign of power but if you're worried about young Theodore his story had a happy ending."

"Do you know what it's like being corrupted for years, Ethan may have defeated me but not all of my power went away when the battle was over. "

"I was taught a lesson, a lesson to never lose because winning means everything. You should know better, Valt, you can't beat the bad guy by becoming the bad guy."

"No you can't."

Coming down on the helicopter was Taiga, Ethan, Amanda, Valerie and Vincent.

"But Valt isn't corrupted anymore and he chose to give that power back unlike you." Shu said putting his hand on Valt's shoulder

Theoodre backed away from them clenching the pieces of Amaterios trying to grasp what little power was left in the pieces.

"No, Taiga you're right but this isn't over." Theodore said with a dark smile.
