For once Theodore considered this quietly thinking about this, the thought of battling Toko sounded satisfying considering his Forbidden Amaterios hadn't battled anyone yet but if he was really going to break them...

"No, Toko I'll have to respectfully decline your challenge, I respect your thinking but I wouldn't want to waste all of your hard work. It would be such a shame to have it all go to waste as you get corrupted and instead I'll let you battle Valt just to see if you can save him but you have to choose who it'll be Toko. Will it be his girlfriend? His best friend's brother? One of his old friends Wakiya or Ken? Or even Fubuki?

"I suggest you pick very carefully, Toko."

"No, but..."

Toko tried to protest but Theodore's eyes glowed as a warning. Toko quieted wondering what Theodore was up to.

Turning back to his friends he started running through the different scenraios
as a battle arena emerged from the ground on the platform.

The most powerful of them was either himself or Fubuki but he didn't know how much battling Wakiya had done ever since he took over his fathers company and Ken had been on the Beasts at one point and even the second world championship tournament but then again Ranjiro may know something about Valt from his brother. And power level wise everyone seemed about the same so it was a question of sentimental value or power...

Sasha put her hand on Toko's shoulder, her resonance was glowing around her body and with a determined look in her eye she felt ready for this.

"Let me."

Toko nodded and Sasha stepped beside him and over to the stadium where Brown Eye was already waiting with Theodore off to the side.

"The sad little girlfriend, not my first choice but now Miss Guten you'll be able to prove to all of us how much you think you should be here and how strong you are."

Readying her launcher she faced Brown Eye and ignored Theodore towering over them in the background.

"This will be a three point battle."

Holding out her launcher her hands were still shaking at what Theodore threatened her but she took in a deep breath and focused on Valt in front of her.

If she was able to sort of get through to Free back in the second world championship tournament then she could easily do it again here and now.

Brown Eye lowered his head and let his darkened blue resonance surround him, an uncomfortable feeling washed over the room covering the place with a dark chilling atmosphere. The darkness in the room surrounded Brown Eye with him at the center of it making Theodore smile. Compared to him Sasha's power was a small little light house in an upcoming storm.

"3...2...1...Let it Rip!"

Launching her bey into the stadium, Sasha knew that up against a blader like Valt she would lose easily but she just needed to last long enough to save him.

Valtryek came flying into the stadium speeding incredibly while Gaianon did the same but not as majestically or fast. Spiraling into the center Gaianon was knocked backwards into the wall but it quickly recovered making Sasha smile at the thought of Raul helping her at Wakiya's house.

Looking up from the battle Sasha then directed all of her attention and focus towards him.

"Valt!"

Slowly his head rose and titled like Free's with his dead glowing blue eyes staring straight into Sasha's soul.

"You need to stop this Valt, this power. I know it feels good and amazing but think about what you're doing. We came all this way to find you and..."

Valtryek sped up in the stadium and began attacking in every direction but Gaianon was able to hold its ground.

"I never asked you to look for me."

Valtryek started glowing and rose behind Valt darkened and misshapen then it's usual appearance, it sickened Sasha to the very core at this display of power. But with each attack Gaianon was able to miraculously recover and keep going.

"It's that eternal sharp performance tip." Theodore muttered to himself.

I need to change my tacktick on getting through to him, if I make him angry then he'll destroy me.

Seizing her chance Sasha went in for the attack yelling and using her amount of power she could summon into her bey, clashing with Valtryek in the center the sheer power and will force lightened Brown Eyes power. But after the first attack Valtryek was able to dodge hitting the wall, rocketing off the wall its incredible speed only made it go faster going down the wall hitting Gaianon bursting it.

Picking up the pieces Sasha said nothing, readying her launcher again narrowing her eyes she summoned up her hidden power again and launched with everything she had.

"3...2...1....Let it Rip!"

Gaianon this time circled the center with Valtryek narrowing, missing its attack each time.

"She tilted her launcher and created a new trajectory for herself..." Theodore muttered lost in thought.

"Look at what this power is doing to yourself! Theodore claims this is a strength but look at what it's doing to you, have you seen what you look like! You're scaring me!"

The darkness surrounding Brown Eye wavered along with Valtryek. A look of uncertainty was there but then easily replaced.

"You're losing yourself in return, power doesn't come from destruction of beys only sadness and despair does. True strength comes from having fun, you taught me that!"

"Do you even know what we've been through? Even when you lost we were still there cheering you on. Supporting you from the sidelines, risking everything and even trusting you with our strength. Don't you see this dark power is just a shortcut and you don't need it to be powerful, you already are and I know you can control it! You're not a bad guy Valt!

Valtryek wavered severely unbalanced but Gaianon was starting to lose stamina too.

But using the stadium's gravity in her favor Gaianon sped down the slope and collided against Valtryek causing it to fly out of the stadium bursting.

Brown Eye caught the pieces not even flinching.

The room lightened and Sasha relaxed.

"You're right." he said softly.

The darkened resonance faded and his glowing eyes dimmed. In the background Theodore stirred watching.

Readying her launcher he did the same more uncertain causing his power to almost disipate.

His usual frown was now a straight line and even arching in the corners, almost as if he was smiling.

Sasha smiled back holding out her launcher while Brown Eye, no Valt did the same.

"3...2...1....Let it Rip!"

This time Gaianon took the center while Valtryek came in speeding in but its attacks were more sloppy causing it to be knocked back and into the air but it didn't fly out of the stadium.

"I know you'll do what's right no matter what, I know that and respect that. Just please take a second to ask yourself if this is right. If having this power, this rank and being under Theodore's control really is the right thing for blading or you!"

"You're our inspiration!" said Toko standing up no longer fighting against the invisible force.

"We believe in you Valt, if there's anyone who can uncorrupt anyone it's you."said Fubuki.

"And you're our friend," said Ken shyly.

"We wouldn't all be here trying to beat a forty year old man trying to take over the world with a bunch of possessed kids!" Wakiya added.

"We wouldn't all be bladers." Ranjiro added quietly.

"Valt you have to listen to me! This isn't like you, you're not like this and you alone have the power to fight this. You need to understand how much blading means to all of us and how much you've influenced all of us to better ourselves not just as bladers but as friends and people you need to fight this."

"No, we need to fight this together."

Gaianon clashed with Valtryek again in the center slowing down but instead of it's usual blue hue it was glowing a golden orange and Valt's eyes were glowing golden along with his resonance.

But he wasn't the only one, everyone else but Theodore was glowing their respected colors reaching out to Valt.

He slowly stood up with his eyes full of power and life again, Sasha smiled at the sight of her friend but then he dropped to his knees screaming and yelling in pain. Valtryek mimicked its movements wildly spinning all over the place.

Gaianon tried to stay away but instead was knocked all over the place. Valt continued to yell in pain with Theodore's black resonance surrounding him.

Theodore stood behind him pouring his power into Valt causing him to fall to the ground, not long after his bey absorbing Theodore's power turned black and collided into Gaianon breaking it into pieces.

Sasha fell onto her knees at the sight of the pieces.

Brown Eye had recovered and was standing before everyone else holding Valtryek in his fist.

"No, I was so close if only it wasn't for..." Looking up at Theodore in anger she gathered the broken pieces of Gaianon and stood back with the rest of her group.

"I'm sorry, guys but I couldn't do it."

"No, you did do it." Toko whispered at her.

Pushing past her he made his way back to Theodore.

"For once I'm impressed Sasha, managing to actually burst Valtryek, almost managing to get through months of corruption but it was all for naught. I'll let you go Sasha under one condition. I want you to tell Shu and Free everything that happened and if you ever think about coming back then I'll make sure you won't come back the same. You know what I do to scared little kids like you?" 

Holding out his hand Toko was dragged over to Theodore and Brown Eye as his friends cried out for him.

"Now then Toko, you'll be an example to Miss Guten of what happens to those who tresspass."

Marching over to Toko, Brown Eye held out his hand silencing him. His resonance flared and his eyes glowed.

Sasha tried to look away but was held down by Theodore's power.

Slowly his power crawled over to Toko making his own resonance darkening it, his eyes so full of determination slowly faded and then froze lifelessly. His body relaxed and the last little light and happiness left his body. Theodore smilied and Toko fell to the ground with Theodore laughing.

Slowly he stood up and Sasha gasped and looked away. Fubuki put his hand on her shoulder and looked her in the eye.

"Don't worry about us, find Shu and Free. Tell them about the orange golden power, Theodore feared it, he was scared, I saw him. Go, Sasha, run far away from this place before you see what happens to the rest of us."

Curling her fingers on the door handle she took one last look at everyone especially Brown Eye before running far, far away with the screams and yelling echoing behind her as she sprinted.
