Alright one last update and then hiatus for a while because of finals. Hope everyone has a good break and a good holiday!

Meanwhile, Theodore gazed out of the Empire State State building watching WBBA in the distance lost in thought.

With Shu and BC Sol on the run Theodore on the other hand had been dealing with the new influx of bladers at various Snake Pits.

And now with him being the new head or CEO of the WBBA Theodore had also taken control over the other blading teams across the globe.

Including the Bulls which was why he was here instead of WBBA doing the next phase of his plan.

But he couldn't help but feel uncertainty, Brown Eye had been distant lately off in his own world like most bladers that roamed the halls of the Snake Pit.

And back when Phi roamed the halls he was dangerous and now with Brown Eye holding his power he couldn't help but feel paranoia towards Brown Eye considering his predecessor wasn't truly loyal.

But his apprentice had been showing promise the past couple of days whether it was from listening to what Theodore taught him, cutting off his loyalty to Rantaro, and breaking Shu's bey; he was showing major progress and yet there was that uncertainty nagging at him.

And while he was shaping up to be Phi's successor there was still one test he had yet to pass until Theodore fully trusted him.

Right on cue Brown Eye opened the door to Shu's old office with Theodore taking up residence in his old seat turning to him.

"They're here, master." he said.

"Good." Theodore said standing up.

Walking out of the office, Brown Eye followed walking beside Theodore as they reached the bottom of the building where the press was gathered along with a crowd of people.

Theodore took his place in the spotlight smiling at the crowd completely composed and confident. Meanwhile Brown Eye stood off to the side still near the attention but watching from afar.

With Shu and BC Sol gone, everyone else who wasn't a blader saw him as a hero helping dangerous bladers gain control of their power.

And ever since he'd opened the Snake Pits to the public he'd been gaining attention and attending press meetings more than ever with Brown Eye.

"Ever since the eclipse happened, the bladers of the world have laid waste upon our cities with their uncontrollable power but it's not their fault...in fact every blader is infected with the dark power that has only one cure....which is why I'm helping them control their power bringing in a new age of controlled blading."

Brown Eye stepped up beside Theodore and held out his launcher letting Valtryek soar through the air glowing it's normal blue hue. Lighting up the sky and sending out a radiant blue resonance.

Theodore smiled at the beautiful glow thinking of how Phi was able to disguise his own resonance at one point and was able to fool everyone.

"A new age of the Snake Pits is upon us..."

The crowd cheered for Theodore with the exception of the kids knowing what was truly going on and were giving him dirty looks knowing not every blader was infected with the dark power.

"A golden age, an age where instead of competing in teams bladers will now compete in teams of Snake Pits around the world using what they've learned, starting with the Bulls." His voice darked but not enough for the crowd to notice.

"One of the worlds strongest bladers Shu Kurenai along with Free De La Hoya have resisted this change and have caused Shu to abandon both his responsibility to the Bulls and his team itself causing me to step in and take back control of the Bulls and BC Sol. But unlike Free and Shu, their friend...Valt, the former number one blader has embraced the change immensely gaining great control over his power..."

"But Valt isn't number one so why should we listen to him?"

Theodore's eyes darkened with anger but only for a split second to see a small boy in the crowd as the people around him backed away from him.

Theodore's eyes darkened with anger, slowly losing his composure and power of the crowd.

Many of the people around the kid had stopped to consider this and some were even agreeing with him.

The kid turned back to Theodore smirking with his arms crossed, Theodore eyes darkened with anger.

"With Free still holding the title of the number one blader people will begin to doubt us which will lead into them rebelling, which we cannot allow that to happen." Theodore said looking out the window of the Empire State building. His resonance could barely be seen along with Amaterios mirroring his anger.

Brown Eye stood off to the side by the doors watching eerily quiet.

"I cannot stress how important it is for us to earn back the title but until then with both Free still holding the title and other bladers outside of our control people will doubt our power and soon they'll turn against us...."

Theodore slid his hand over his face and sat down behind Shu's old desk. His power wavered and then disappeared but on the inside he still had to keep up his control over Valt going which was exhausting his power.

"We need to drive them out of their hiding spot, and make them come to us...."

But before he could answer his own question alarms started going off on the previous levels below.
