But BC Sol wasn't the only place having problems. All across the world bladers were finding themselves with even more power than before battling to find out who's the best.

Street battles were everywhere along with destruction and chaos. Some bladers found themselves weaker under the influence of the eclipse while others felt even stronger than they have ever been.

Destruction and debris littered the streets. People ran against each other fighting while others were hiding from the chaos.

But in the midst of the chaos Shu watched from afar peeking out from the blinds of the window.

Turning back to the group Kris was setting up the projector while Free watched her.

Nika remained quiet watching the chaos outside. Delta sat in a quiet corner while Drum was trying to see what was going on outside.

Aiger was also down there watching the chaos outside alongside Nika.

"I can't take this anymore, what are we doing down here! We need to be up there helping those bladers!" Nika yelled.

"Yeah!" Aiger cheered.

"No." Kris replied sternly.

"Why!" Nika yelled with anger.

"Valt is corrupted! Toko is gone! We're missing over half of the group including Sasha, Rantaro, Ranjiro, Fubuki, Silas and Cuza! Not to mention the other bladers up there suffering. It's chaos up there and we need to go help them! We can't just leave them behind to be taken to the Snake Pit and be corrupted again!"

Kris turned to Nika looking her in the eye. Tears were barely visible in the corners of her eyes.

"I have full faith that they'll be able to make it out and even if they don't we'll still find our chance later to find them and save them. I know you're worried about your brothers Nika but remember you guys are the same kids who beat Theodore last year and I have full faith you can do it again."

Turning back to Nika, she nodded her head quietly, smiling a little.

"This is my fault," Shu said suddenly.

Everyone but Kris turned to Shu.

"Shu..."

"It is Kris! If I had been able to win against Valt none of this would be happening! We wouldn't have lost BC Sol, or Fubuki, or even all those bladers up there! And now with Theodore buying up or taking over everything there's barely any safe places to hide!"

Taking a deep breath the room was silent except for the sound of Kris setting up the projector.

"Then what now? We can't just hide in this basement." Drum asked quietly.

The room was silent not knowing the answer.

Slowly, Shu stood up and took in a deep breath trying to relax.

"We can't focus on what we've lost, Kris is right we need to keep moving forward and have hope that everyone up there has managed to make it out. But for now I have something to tell you all..."

Kris stopped what she was doing to look at Shu.

"At the beginning of the summer I approached Kit with a mission in mind. A mission to infiltrate the Snake Pit to gather information in case Valt was being corrupted. At the time Valt had started showing symptoms for corruption but I wanted to be sure. By using the excuse of homework Kit would actually sneak off and pretend to be one of their bladers."

"What!" said Drum

"But when I was there he seemed corrupted." Delta said.

Shu nodded his head and continued.

"Recently Kit stopped coming and eventually I lost contact with him and assumed the worst but while he was there he managed to tell me that their process of corrupting bladers is flawed.
Back then, Theodore didn't have Phi's power in his possession which is why he had to rely on technology to corrupt his bladers to create his army. Kit said the machine is able to replicate the process and that's not all. Kit also mentioned that there are still bladers there from the last tournament and the Dread Tower."

"But I thought we freed everyone...." replied Delta.

"Theodore and Phi's only freed certain bladers to give us false hope and to make us believe we won but really all Theodore was doing was waiting until the right moment."

"And you knew about this Kris?" Delta asked, sounding a bit angry.

"Yes, but it was Kit who convinced me to let him leave to go to the Snake Pit."

"But why did you keep us in the dark?" Drum asked.

"Because you would've wanted to stop him and Kit insisted on going alone and for us not to tell you until something went wrong." Shu replied.

"So if we can just shut off that machine then we can free everyone?"Drum asked with his smile returning.

"Yes." said Shu, smiling back at him.

Pumping his fist in the air Drum excitedly went over to Delta and started talking.

Shu watched wearing a sad smile, as Drum was grinning from ear to ear while Delta was trying to calm him down.

It reminded him of those days back when Valt was like that always getting into trouble somehow but still managing to smile through it all.

But before he could think about Valt too much Kris managed to turn on the projector grabbing everyone's attention immediately.

On screen, a large picture of a reporter was on screen.

"In global news, the Snake Pit has been gaining popularity through its promise to help bladers control their power. Providing the world with a new kind of power. It's owner Theodore Glass, the new head of the WBBA, told us it would revolutionize the world in more ways than one."

The clip cut to Theodore and with Brown Eye in the background.

"This power was once considered dangerous, bringing nothing but destruction to our world. It is our goal to help bladers through training to control their power in a safe way. The benefits from this program included all expenses paid for dorms and bed along with meals and training."

"When will the first Snake Pit be public?"

"They already have been for a very long time but now things have changed and just like the world it's important for us to adapt and evolve bladers to their new needs. In fact we are now beginning to look at the possibility of more Snake Pits in the near future."

"And there you have it back to..."

Clicking off the projector Shu gripped the remote in his hand.

"This whole time he wanted bladers to lose control he wanted this eclipse to happen...that battle it...he wasn't actually going to go through the deal he was only stalling! And now he has everything he needs to capture all those bladers....with people thinking they're dangerous they'll turn them in!"

"Including us." Delta said quietly.

"We...we need to leave...We need to find Raul, maybe he can reverse engineer Theodore's machine or..."

"But where can we go Shu! We can't stay in this basement or go to the WBBA let alone the bulls. Theodore will just take over them!"

Shu was quiet thinking until Aiger stepped into the conversation.

"I know a place but we need to move fast."
