"You have no power Theodore,"

Opening the cell door Theodore lightened his power on him and carried the mask and made Shu walk next to him.

"I have the power to hear the present. I can hear words, wishes and secrets. I know what bladers seek, desire and would give anything for. You will understand Shu that you don't need power to have power."

Walking down the hallway the roar of a faraway crowd got louder as they continued down the hallway.

"What you fail to see, Shu, is the importance of understanding both the dark resonance and light resonance.

Which is how I've been able to gather so many blades all at once. The key to getting people on your side is showing them a path to what they desire. Once you've done that, it hardly matters that it was also your desire. You came to me a long time ago Shu, young and inexperienced with a hunger for strength and power. I merely should you the way while answering my own questions, no matter how evil you think I am you're the one who took that path."

Stopping Theodore dropped Shu onto the ground and looking over the catwalk, were tons of bladers awaiting Theodore's announcement.

Theodore held up his hands like a conductor orchestrating his audience.
"Bladers of the world, it has taken days, months and even years but we finally have every blader in the Snake Pit..."

Looking into the crowd Shu managed to pick out bladers from BC Sol like Sasha, Free, Cuza, Silas, Bladers from Japan like Toko, Fubuki and even Delta and Drum could be spotted.

Everyone really is here he thought.

The only blader who wasn't in the crowd was Brown Eye standing beside Theodore.

"...and now the last blader will finally join us and understand our power."

Theodore held Shu down while Brown Eye stepped towards Shu.

"Don't do this Valt." Shu said desperately trying to reach out one last time to his friend.

"I have to do this."he said emotionlessly, staring down at Shu.

"Please, I'm sorry Valt, I'm sorry for not being there when you were at BC Sol and I'm sorry for leaving and abandoning you guys. I may not be able to beat you Valt, but do you really want this? Think about what'll happen after I'm turned? Do you have any idea what destruction will Theodore unleash using us! Think about what'll happen to the world Beyblade, our families! What will think think seeing..."

Theodore tightened his control over Shu making him tense up in pain.

"Finish the job Brown Eye." Theodore said with his eyes glowing towards Brown Eye.

"Any last words?" Theodore asked.

"There will always be someone to stop you." Shu said smiling one last time defiantly.

"Look around Shu, look at all of your former friends in the crowd. Do you think of anyone who can still stop me?"

Shu was silent until he thought of Taiga and Kris but Taiga had his family to take care of and even if Kris did manage to contact the police again she wouldn't know where they are.

"That's what I thought." Theodore said smiling.

Everything went on a grayscale and everyone disappeared but Brown Eye and Shu staring each other down with Theodore watching in the background. The only colors were their eyes glowing their respected colors of teal, blue and red.

"This is your last Brown Eye test, you've managed to break a bey, corrupt a friend, cut all ties with BC Sol, control another bladers resonance but now it's time for your ultimate test: corrupting your best friend only then will you solidify your place at the Snake Pit."

"Please, Valt don't..."

Brown Eye tightened his grip and Shu and his darkened resonance surrounded him. Slowly, tentacles formed and crawled over to Shu. One by one they grabbed his hands and ankles, constructing around him, emerging him in cold shadows and darkness.

Shu yelled in pain but the energy was suffocating. But Brown Eye watched, smiling, savoring every moment. It reminded him of when Phi once fought Shu and Phi had done the same thing he was now doing.

But instead Shu wouldn't be able to fight back because he was already beaten and even he knew it.

The grayscale turned dark and even through the pain Shu knew they were back in the dark realm.

Looking at Brown Eye his eyes were cold, unblinking and completely focused on him.

Shu desperately wanted to reach out to his friend but the shadows were too much for him.

Then finally his eyes faded and his body started to relax, his power had given up and Theodore started laughing.

The last little spark of freedom and defiance diminished and Brown Eyes power dissipated leaving Shu.

Th whole room was silent including Theodore and Brown Eye but slowly Shu stood up and Theodore's smile returned.

Standing up was his old obedience in his eyes and emotionless expression but unlike the last time his resonance was still red but just a darker shade.

The crowd cheered and Theodore held out his old mask.

"Welcome back, Red Eye." He said smiling.

"Remember why you started blading! To have fun and to make friends! Remember what we've been through! You saw how much fun blading was and wanted other people to be a part of that but not just your friends but also your family....You can't give into it Valt. I know it feels good but this power, it's not yours!....Please, I'm sorry Valt, I'm sorry for not being there when you were at BC Sol and I'm sorry for leaving and abandoning you guys....I may not be able to beat you Valt, but do you really want this? Think about what'll happen after I'm turned? Do you have any idea what destruction Theodore will unleash using us! Think about what'll happen to the world Beyblade, our families! What will they think seeing..."

"Brown Eye you have been summoned to Theodore's lab."said the intercom above.

Brown Eye stopped his battle with Aurelian Eye, grabbed Valtryek out of the stadium and headed down the hallway.

Two weeks had gone by and Shu's old words were still haunting Brown Eye. In the day old pleas for help would call out to him while in the night nightmares would keep him up about the basement.

In short things had been quiet for Brown Eye, Theodore had been more and more distant and he found himself missing when it was just them.

Everyone else however avoided battling him at all costs avoiding him like he was the plague. While Brown Eye was number one everyone knew they had no chance at beating him and he found himself more and more alone.

Which was odd considering how when he wasn't corrupted and number one everyone had wanted to battle him.

He was lucky Free or Aurelian had agreed to battle only higher ranked bladers were allowed to battle him but even that had seemed dull.

"You're only saying that because you're Theodore's right hand man and you want to keep it that way or else you'll end up like me."

Theodore wouldn't do that to him, he wouldn't and yet the thought of the basement invaded his thoughts of him trapped down there forever.

Screaming and trying to get out but couldn't.

"Enjoy the show, because the second when we're all not valuable to Theodore anymore he'll throw us out like garbage."

Brown Eye kept moving, determined to get those thoughts out of his mind and made his way to Theodore's lab.

Theodore had always been secretive when it came to his plans. In the beginning he had let Brown Eye in on everything but now, he barely showed his face anymore around the snake pit.

Which had made him wonder what exactly was Theodore up to? Brown Eye knew enough that even at this stage in the game Theodore wasn't done. But the question was what was his next step? He already had all the bladers minus their coaches. And he now had Red Eye back too.

"I don't need to beat you, Valt, I just need to get through to you."

Even through Shu's imprisonment he had never once tried to escape or even run away. Instead, even when Brown Eye corrupted him there were points when he had actually been smiling as if Shu knew what he was doing.

Which had bothered Brown Eye these past few days.

The way he easily surrendered, knowing what was going to happen to him without even fighting or trying to escape.

Did he know what he was doing or had he given up or did he deep down what to be Red Eye again.

Opening the door Brown Eye walked into a massive lab full of chemicals, computers and even a few tables with straps dangling off the edges swaying a little. As if they had just been holding one of Theodore's test subjects or experiments.

The thought sickened him as he looked around, he passed a couple of control panels and computers.

"Curious are we?"

Turning around Theodore looked less put together than usual but still retained an intimidating silhouette.

Beside him stood Red Eye wearing his old outfit not smiling while Theodore was.

Brown Eye only looked at Red Eye and said nothing as he did the same. For Theodore Red Eye had always been his greatest blader and often he would talk about him in front of Brown Eye himself. Boasting that he was the one that had inspired all of this.

But now looking upon him Brown Eye only felt anger towards him.

"You're dismissed," he said softly, leaving Brown Eye alone with Theodore.

"You summoned me."

Leaning against a table he towered over Brown Eye and his eyes were faintly glowing.

"Surely you among the others must all be wondering what our next phase of the plan is." He said circling Brown Eye like a shark.

"March in and take over the rest of the.."

"Not quite."

"Taking over the rest of the world was never the true plan, why march and battle when I can just threaten those against us with their most precious thing: their future. Think about it, Brown Eye, you kids are the future. Not just of Beyblade but of our world and I think it's time you've learned why we really need all of these bladers."

Leaning against the table a new seriousness entered his voice as if he was about to go into an important lecture.

"You see this was never about taking over the world, no, no ,no this was about rebuilding the world for people like...us. That's why I needed everyone to be corrupted, normal bladers can't handle those levels of feedback."

"You see Brown Eye, beyblade has been around for many centuries and has taken on many forms over the years, whenever a bladers proved their worth a fighting spirit would be drawn to them and that spirit would reside in the Beyblade. I'm sure you've heard of the term bladers attract bladers? Even back then this was true. When a spirit was strong bit beasts as you call them would enhance attacks and moves. Some might even say bladers and their beys were able to merge together. But whenever a blader lost their bit beast the blader would have their own fighting spirit impacted which is why many bladers had periods of doubt after losing theirs. Some would even mourn them for years, and some would even disappear when they least expect it. These lost bit beasts would reside in monuments, even artifacts, some even resided in beyblades waiting to be reawakened for a new master to find them. While some were even passed down through generations like Valtyrek."

Brown Eyes' eyes widened and that only made Theodore smile even more.

"But some weren't so lucky and some even attempted to manufacture them, to control them and turn them into slaves. But out of all the bit beasts some are more dangerous than others, like Phoenix, Fafnir or even Valtryek herself all coming and going in different names and forms over the ages. But what they all have in common is that they have had good and bad usage. Imagine Valtryek being used by an evil master or Phoenix used to bring light instead. But legend has it that when you bring enough bit beasts together their power combined can destroy the world, warping reality around us as we know it."

"Allow me to demonstrate."

Holding out his arms like a conductor, he gathered resonance from all around the snake pit adding it to his own making his resonance glow even brighter.

Colors of resonance moved along the walls and floor all flowing into Theodore with the exception of Brown Eyes' own power.

Feeding it into the controls they sucked up the power onto the roof.

When Theodore was done feeding it, resonance spiraled and flowed into a single line hitting the top of the mountain in the distance.

A shockwave erupted across the land and even the Snake Pit shook a little bit making beakers and computers rattle. A cloud of destruction darkened the sky as the top of the mountain started sliding off making the cloud even bigger.

Theodore smiled darkly at the power and turned back to Brown Eye.

"Imagine what we could do to the world."

Brown Eye was shaking a little and Theodore's power died down causing his eyes to stop glowing.

"That is our next phase of the plan, but before that you need to master your power. There's a reason why I didn't use your power in that demonstration, Brown Eye..."

Standing up he started circling him like a shark.

"Your power is something I have never seen before and yet you use it almost everyday, it's funny how sometimes the answer is right in front of our faces sometimes."

"That day when you entered the gates of BC Sol for the first time you almost ran into Kristina but somehow miraculously jumped over her, or when you tried to escape the Snake Pit those first few months, the way you were able to easily outrun my guards, or when you combined your powers with Silas Karslie to win against my Bulls, or when you freed Shu and Free from corruption. But until you can accept your full power you can't use it and thus you have only been using a fraction of your true power."

"You can do many things, but what your power is, is something I haven't seen in a long time, which is why we need to run more tests to see what you can truly do. He said gesturing to the table with restraints beside him.

"For your power is the complete opposite of Phi's. While he can corrupt bladers, you can free them which is why you were so compatible with it in the first place. Opposites attract. And not only can you purify those around you, you can also combine power and use it to your advantage too as you did when you escaped my gurads. As did Phi but while he controls bladers you do the opposite and empower those around you. And while Phi can freeze and put his opponents in pain you can empower yourself by enhancing your speed and reflexes. You are the complete opposite in Phi in every way."

"Out of all of us, you hold both light and darkness within you but now with the balance even more in our favor and yet you still resist..."

"You know as well as I do the more you resist, the more the dark power will try and control you until you're gone."

"And yet something is off..." he said, circling Brown Eye.

But before he could investigate...

"Theodore, Red Eye is acting up again along with the others, should we send him to the basement?"

"No, I'll handle him."

Leaving Brown Eye to his thoughts Theodore raced out of the room and into the hallway.

All around him bladers were shaking and in pain their resonances were flickering on and off and Theodore watched angered.

"I knew he couldn't handle it." He mumbled.

Theodore kept running leaving the struggling bladers.

At one point Theodore believed Valt had been corrupted, the way he acted or even his power alone. But ever since Shu's corruption he's been feeling something off in the young blader.

Almost as if something had changed him in.

Hours later after having Red Eye under control Theodore marched back to the lab with an army of Snake Pit bladers behind him ready to fight.

But when he opened the door Brown Eye was gone.

Theodore gripped his fists and his resonance flared turning purple but looking down upon all of the bladers they too struggled.

Leaning back Theodore smilied,

Even your consequences have actions Brown Eye.You can run away all you want but if you can't control your power then these bladers will go way past Gone bringing you down too.

His laughter echoed across the Snake Pit as Brown Eye sprinted into the forest.

Brown Eye woke up screaming and yelling in pain as he opened his eyes.

It had been a day since he left the Snake Pit and every night he'd been plagued with nightmares haunting him of his friends or allies? Enemies?

He wasn't so sure anymore but what he was sure of was the nightmares were memories.

Last night he'd dreamt of Theodore strapping him down on a table, and he'd loomed over him like he'd found his perfect prey as he slowly placed the mask over his face.

Brown Eye had woken up heavily breathing and exhausted.

Which only made him want to get further away from the Snake Pit.

But Theodore was his friend or enemy? Everything felt very fuzzy as if now waking up from a dream but he'd never even been asleep.

But despite his confusion he was sure of one thing: He needed to understand this dark power and make peace with it before he was going to return and free his friends? But they were already on his side or Theodore's side.

You can't give into it Valt. I know it feels good but this power, it's not yours!

And then there were the voices, Shu's voices he was sure of it trying to guide him but to the right path? Or the wrong one?

Little by little he could feel his confidence diminished until he wasn't sure whose side he was even on anymore.

Please, I'm sorry Valt, I'm sorry for not being there when you were at BC Sol and I'm sorry for leaving and abandoning you guys

There it was again, but instead of anger towards Shu this time he only felt peace?

Drowning out Shu's conflicting words Brown Eye kept walking and then started running.

As much as he wanted to rid himself of this foriegn power he couldn't do it; he'd first need to understand it until he could give it up.

So that's what Brown Eye did, the only thing he knew what to do: train.

He worked for hours and those hours turned into days before he knew it, using the dark power until he could feel it consuming him slowly.

And then after the 2nd day something Theodore said resonated with him.

"You can't accept your full power and thus you can't use it. This dark power, the more you resist the more it'll try and control you until you're gone."

Then maybe instead of resisting he needed to embrace it and not resist. Maybe he needed to stop fighting it.

Besides if Phi could control the dark power then he could control it too.

Sitting down he closed his eyes and instead of being afraid or scared, instead he let go and finally gave into the power willingly.

Episode
The once thriving jungle around the Snake Pit was now a wasteland of nothing but dirt and destruction with resonance scarring the land, Theodore smiled darkly looking upon the destruction with greed and happiness. Anyone who dared to stand in his way would meet the same fate as the land.

Three long days had gone by since Brown Eye disappeared and now with him gone Theodore had regained control over every blader except for Brown Eye.

At one point Brown Eye had been controlling every blader in the Snake Pit minus Theodore himself of course but never had he once said anything about the power in fact he had the help of Phi's machine of course lessening the load but now Theodore had found it to be his responsibility.

And now he was the most powerful blader, he was one now to rule over the others, now he was the one to reshape the world for them. He found himself being so selfless these days doing everything for them now almost as if he was their lord or ruler.

He laughed a wild uncontrollable laugh with his resonance building up and his eyes glowing then he paused sensing something in the distance.

Going outside he looked and saw a lonesome figure in the distance marching to the Snake Pit wild purple resonance surrounding him causing Theodore to smile.

The sky rumbled as his army came outside lining up behind him.

Brown Eye

Lighting lit up the sky, now with Brown Eye standing in front of Theodore wearing a serious expression.

Wild purple resonance surrounded him, but his Snake Pit outfit was now torn up and ripped apart. His fists were gripped and his eyes glowed a dangerous purple.

"Brown Eye, what a pleasant surprise."

Theodore's army tensed up at the sight of a traitor.

Meanwhile, his purple energy lessened as he glanced over at them but it didn't disappear.

"Theodore."

Theodore leaned back and relaxed letting his power lessen a little.

"So Valt, you've finally returned."

"You're reign is over Theodore,"

Valt held out his hand but found he couldn't command them anymore. His determined expression wavered causing Theodore to smile.

"There have been some changes while you were gone, Valt. You're no longer in charge."

One by one each Snake Pit blader took off their masks revealing their monotone or serious expressions all the same.

Valt's heart broke at the sight of them all corrupted and darkened by Theodore's image.

Toko, Free, Lui, Drum, Aiger, Diago, and others all standing in a line like soldiers.

But he didn't show it and kept his eyes on Theodore. He knew he wanted to distract him but he wasn't going to take the bait.

"You really think you can beat me. Valt I am your superior. I am more powerful than you."

"Then let's settle this like bladers Theodore."

Theodore narrowed his eyes and made two of his bladers get a stadium.

Setting it down on the dirt the sky rumbled again as it started sprinkling.

"Three rounds if I win you will stop all of this and surrender, you will free everyone and go to jail forever."

Theodore narrowed his eyes and smiled. His resonance building up around him became wild and jagged more so than usual but Valt paid no attention to it.

"And if I win Valt, you will return back to the Snake Pit, give me Phi's power, along with the title and give up your power of freeing those corrupted forever."

"Deal, I'll fight you along with Shu."

Theodore narrowed his eyes and turned to Red Eye.

Red Eye had been unstable lately, and his condition was worsening to the point where Theodore was even considering keeping him in either the basement or tank forever.

He was a bit surprised however that Valt could've picked any blader to fight and yet he chose his best friend and quite possibly the second strongest blader.

In fact he didn't have to choose a blader to fight alongside Theodore. He could've easily picked Toko or someone else.

But no matter this would only make it easier for him, with Red Eye by his side and Valt hopelessly outmatched Theodore was going to win for sure.

He already had everything planned out, once Valt was back under his control he was going to tighten his grip on every blader making sure they wouldn't ever be able to be free.

Meanwhile he would be number one, and the reign of Valt and Shu would be over.

The WBBA would be dismantled, BC Sol destroyed and replaced with a Snake Pit and out of that ashes of the WBBA would be a new reincarnation.

All under the control of him.

Their lord, no as their god, their savior. Yes.

Everyone always thought of him as the bad guy when really he was their savior, saving them from themselves and their power.

They would never understand as long as they were out of his control.

"Deal" he finally replied.

Valt smiled determined and let out the full force of his power letting himself test the waters of both of his powers. Not just Phi's but also his own.

All this time at the Snake Pit Theodore had wanted him to be someone else, constantly trying to push him to be Phi even letting him keep Phi's power was enough from him to lose himself under the influence of that power essentially turning him into someone that was no better than Phi.

But now with both powers in his possession he truly understood the balance between them, without one you could not have the other and thus that was the balance of the resonance . Tehdoore could try and wipe out normal resonance bladers all he wanted but in the end he would never truly be able to wipe out the power as Valt would never be able to fully extinguish the dark power in return.

Letting his power build around him the dark purple along with the golden and normal blue all combined to make colorful resonance with little hints of other colors in there too like gold, blue and purple along with his eyes flickering between the different colors. Valtryek could barely be seen behind him ready to battle alongside her master.

Holding out his launcher Valt was dead serious with no anger, happiness or even sadness in his expression instead there was pure determination on beating Theodore.

Theodore meanwhile smiled at the challenge presented in front of him and smiled a wide, cruel smile savoring the moment of Valt's true power finally being shown.

Looking back at his army Red Eye stepped out of the crowd lowering his head and letting his red resonance take over him, when he looked back up he gave Valt a cruel, wicked smile alongside Theodore as he too called upon his resonance.

Instead of its normal teal resonance instead it was a deep black with no traces of its former color anywhere, his eyes however glowed a deep purple full of anger and rage.

But Valt was unfazed at the sight of his best friend's cruel and inhumane smile, instead he only kept his attention towards Theodore.

But deep down even Tehdore felt the full force of Valt's resonance and his power wavered making many bladers in his army free of his control looking around at what was happening and some even looked scared like Toko or Diago at the sight of Valt.

But before they could try and warn Valt of Theodore's plan he quickly regained control over them and held out his own launcher.

"3...2...1....Let it Rip."
