And when you have a nightmare, those demons...monsters...evil creatures...you've seen those before. The mind hasn't generated them. It's stored them and remembered them. But you don't remember when you saw them. Because they were either hidden...or your brain doesn't let you remember because of the sheer fact that you know you truly don't want to remember after all.
