Back at the hotel after a nice day at the beach, Y/N and Jamie still hung out, eating some ice cream. They had a great time with Toni and Juice, but wanted some privacy now. Y/N was glad that everything went well, but the hug and smile from Jamie earlier still lingered in his mind. So to understand what drove her to do it, he spoke up.

Y/N:" Hey Jamie?"

Jamie:" Yeah?"

Y/N: Today was great, no doubt. Buuut...where did that hug come from?"

Jamie:" Can't I hug my best friend?"

Y/N:" You can. It was just a big surprise."

Jamie:" Well...you've been sweet to me all those years, so I figured I'd return the favor."

Y/N:" That's...actually pretty nice. You have a beautiful smile."

Jamie:" Flatterer. Weren't you the one swiping ladies off their feet?"

Y/N:" That was one time."

Jamie's look told enough of a story in that moment. Yes, Y/N was a ladies' man for a few years, but he dialed that back a lot. He matured and wanted something serious instead of lots of One Night Stands. Unfortunately he didn't find the right girl yet, but who knew what kind of web the future would spin. Jamie could only giggle a bit and playfully nudge his arm because she heard enough about his wild nights out. It didn't make her jealous or anything, it actually amused her a lot. She was the first one Y/N talked to once he sobered up and it always got a laugh out of her.

Jamie:" You know what you were like just a few years ago."

Y/N:" Sure, but I'm a changed man now. I don't screw around like crazy anymore."

Jamie:" And I appreciate that. You deserve better than just knowing a girl for a night."

Y/N:" Refering to yourself as better?"

Jamie was a bit caught off guard there because she didn't think he'd catch on. Then again, they've known each other for years, so nothing surprised them anymore.

Jamie:" What, if I am?"

Y/N:" I like the confidence."

Jamie:" And what else?"

Y/N:" You're up to something."

Jamie:" What do you mean? I'm just asking out of curiousity."

Y/N:" Okay, I get it. You want me to admit that I like you, right?"

Jamie:" Do you like me?"

Y/N had a serious expression on his face as he looked at Jamie. He knew he stepped right into her trap and there was no way out until she got an honest answer.

Y/N:" Jamie, there's a lot to unpack."

Jamie:" We've got time, Y/N. Tell me everything."

Y/N:" Persistent as always...Alright. Yes, I do like you. I like your smile, your snark, your jokes, your ambition. You look incredible and have a fun personality too. Throughout our friendship we grew insanely close and..."

Jamie:" Yeah?"

Y/N:" I wanna take things to the next level."

That made Jamie squeal in excitement as she hugged Y/N tightly. She just waited for this moment, a confession like that which came from the heart. She was overjoyed, so much that she grabbed Y/N's face and kissed him passionately. There was no holding back anymore, they both knew that and it honestly was the best moment ever.

Jamie:" You have no idea how long I wanted you to admit it. Y/N...I love you."

Y/N:" I love you too, Jamie. I mean it."

Jamie:" You just made me the happiest girl in the world."

Y/N:" You know me. I try to make everyone smile."

Jamie:" Well, my smile isn't going anywhere any time soon. Ooooh, I can't believe it!"

Y/N chuckled softly as he put an arm around her and kept her close. Now, after so long, the two frenemies turned into lovers. They could only smile at each other as they kept eating ice cream on this sunny day.

A few minutes passed and Jamie put the bowls in the dishwasher while Y/N was in the bathroom. His stomach rumbled a bit and something didn't quite feel right, so he called her over.

Y/N:" Jamie?"

Jamie:" Coming!"

She hummed and walked over, wondering what was going on until Y/N turned around and she looked at his crotch.

Y/N:" Do you have any idea why I have a boner right now?"

Jamie:" Maybe a bit?"

Y/N:" Okay, what did you do?"

Jamie:".....I crushed some viagra and mixed it in with your ice cream...."

Y/N:".....You know I can't walk around like this."

Jamie:" Then we gotta take care of that until it goes down."

Y/N took a deep breath right now as he digested the situation while Jamie leaned against the doorframe. Apparently she wanted this, especially because there was no regret in her eyes as she couldn't stop looking.

Jamie:" It won't be that bad, Y/N. I promise you'll love it~."

Y/N:" This coukd hold on for hours."

Jamie:" Then we'll go at it for hours."

Y/N:" Can you take that?"

Jamie:" There's only one way to find out."

And with that, Jamie grabbed Y/N's muscular arm and dragged him off to bed to take care of this. Yeah, she did it on purpose to finally have her chance with Y/N and now that they started dating,there was no weirdness between the two.
