“V-Vench…” that was all I could say because I was beyond shocked by his presence! What the hell is he doing here?! Bakit siya nandito?! We’re not the same strand, and di kami same ng PE! OMG! 

“And who the fuck are you, huh?!” Gab pushed Vench pero parang hindi man lang natinag si Vench.

Nakaawang ang bibig ko roon habang nakatitig lang sa kanilang dalawa. Oh my gosh…

“Di mo na kailangang malaman kung sino ako. Ang kailangan mo yatang matutunan, good manners at right conduct,” Vench said in a deadly tone. Gab’s forehead automatically creased. He even crossed his arms and looked at Vench from head to toe. 

“Tsk. You don’t know anything here, so don’t butt in, pare. Huwag kang chismoso,” nang-aasar na sabi pa ni Gab kay Vench. Mabilis na tumawa naman si Vench. He even crossed his arms as if he was taunting Gab. My eyes grew wider. I cannot believe this. Oh my gosh! 

“Gab, come here na…” I hear his girlfriend said pa in a very malambing voice. Tsk. Na-over naman ito. 

“Tsk, kala mo kung sino ka, ha! Bakit sino ka ba?! Huh?!”

I almost jumped on my feet when Gab attempted to throw a punch on Vench. When I looked at the latter naman, mas lalo akong naloka kasi parang wala siyang care sa threat ni Gab. Oh gosh. I’m sensing a freaking brawl and I don’t want to drag Vench into this! 

“Vench, stop…” I whispered to him already, trying to hold his arm. I wasn’t afraid of Gab nor his girlfriend, I just didn’t want to drag Vench into this. Wala siyang kasalanan! And this is definitely not his problem! I don’t want him to be involved in this! 

“What now? Are you her knight in shining armor? Oh gosh, what a low taste, Vench.” My mouth parted a bit and my hands turned into fist. I wanted to slap the witch but then I was cut off by Vench. 

“You better stop there,” Vench replied in a very intimidating and serious tone. Even ako, nag-goosebumps sa tone ng voice niya. I mean oh gosh…

“Tsk. Can you just move away, Torres? Get the fuck out of my sight!” Gab lashed again. 

I swear I could feel my whole body shivering when I looked at Vench. He was still so chill! Oh my gosh! I cannot take this anymore! Bakit ang chill chill niya!

“Torres, Sanchez, Altamirano, Vasquez. Ano’ng nangyayari dito?!” My fear was just cut off and I was stoned on my feet when I heard that voice. 

The three of them went silent, too. Vench was still so chill while Gab relaxed a bit. We all turned to who just spoke, and to my horror, it was our SHS disciplinary teacher. Fuck…

I bit my lip a bit. I couldn’t utter a word. It was like my tongue just got cut out! 

“Can someone tell me what is going on here?” Miss Flores’ voice echoed in the whole gymnasium. Our classmates then went on with their murmurings. 

I don’t know kung ilang beses na akong nagmura sa head ko but I really just wanted to get out of this scene already. I mean, this is too much! And I cannot fathom na madadamay si Vench! Fine, I started this nang nag-ask akong makipag-usap kay Gab, so I’ll accept that. But hindi ko isasabit si Vench!

“Miss Flores—”

“It’s her, Miss Flores! Siya ang nagsimula!” I wasn’t able to continue what I was about to say kasi pinutol na ako ng magaling na girlfriend ni Gab. I immediately glared at her. Napaka-annoying ng mukha niya! She has this paawa look that was just so freaking annoying! What the hell?! 

“Miss Flores, it’s not—”

“Oh shut it! You talked to my boyfriend! What? You want to get back with him?!” 

Hindi ko na napigilang suminghap sa sinabi niya. “What the hell are you talking about?! I am not interested in your boyfriend, damn it!  You can have him for all I care!”

“Miss Sanchez!” I almost jumped on my feet. I bit my lip when I felt Vench beside me, holding my arm. I bit my lip and avoided Miss Flores’ gaze. I could hear her frustrated sigh on us. “I will not tolerate you, four, making a scene here in the middle of a class! What is wrong  with all of you? To my office, now!” 

Napapikit na lang ako. I swear I was murmuring some bad words in my head already as we went to follow Miss Flores to her office. Everybody was looking at us and I even saw how Gab’s girlfriend threw a fit while we were walking towards the guidance office. I don’t know kung bakit siya worried as if it would affect her bigly. Duhh. If I know, she’s not really an achiever and she’s a troublemaker! Tsk. 

I rolled my eyes and just crossed my arms. Everyone that we passed through were looking at us like we’re some kind of television drama. I snorted. 

“It will be fine,” I heard Vench said beside me. I swallowed hard and heaved a deep sigh. I looked at him apologetically. He raised a brow on me. “What’s with the face?” he asked pa. I rolled my eyes and shook my head. 

“Nothing. Sorry for dragging you into my mess,” I said, sighing this time. “Why were you there ba kasi?” I couldn’t help but ask him already. I heard him chuckle. 

“Hmm. Let’s just say that it was destiny that brought me there…” 

I looked at him. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. The brute smirked. Sumimangot lang ako sa kanya at napailing na lang ulit. “Seriously, Vench…”

He chuckled again and rubbed me in the arm. Napasimangot na lang ako sa kanya at napaungot. Ugh. Bakit nga ba si Vench pa ang nakasama ko di ba? I mean, I really don’t get this guy! My gosh! 

“Sit!” 

I was just pulled back into reality when Miss Flores’ voice echoed in my head. Nagkatinginan pa kami ni Vench bago kami mabilis na umupo. Sa couch na naroon sa may gilid ng kanyang office. Gab and his girl were on the other couch na katapat ng amin ni Vench. Syempre, baka maging warfreak na rin iyang babaeng iyan kung magkatabi kami. 

I rolled my eyes again and just looked somewhere else. 

“This is so embarrassing! Ano ang pumasok sa kokote ninyo at talagang sa gitna ng klase pa kayo nagkagulo, ha?! What is wrong with you all?!” 

Napayuko na lang ako at hindi na nagsalita. I’d seriously just get into more trouble if I still open my mouth now. 

“And really, Miss Sanchez? You are the student council president! What the hell is wrong with you?!” 

I closed my eyes tightly. I gulped hard and fisted both of my hands. “I’m sorry, Miss Flores…hindi na po ito mauulit. I take responsibility…” 

“Oh you should be!” 

“Miss Vasquez, enough!” 

“But Miss Flores, she really started it naman—”

“I don’t care about the details. All I care about is that you three caused havoc in an ongoing class. All of you did not behave like you were supposed to be behaving! And for that, you will be disciplined. Kayong apat ang paparusahan ko!” 

My eyes widened. Mabilis na napatingin ako kay Miss Flores at napasinghap. “Wait, what? Hindi po kasali si Vench! It shoud be just the three of us!” I reasoned. 

“Oh come on, sumali iyang gagong iyan!” 

“Mr. Altamirano! Language!”

Mabilis na sinamaan ko ng tingin si Gab. What the heck?! 

“He did not do anything!” I eyed him, annoyed already. I looked at Miss Flores again. “Hindi po siya kasali, swear! He was just—”

“I’m in it, Miss Flores and I’ll gladly accept the punishment whatever that is,” Vench relaxed and chilled voice  cut me off, which made my mouth parted.

“What? Hindi ka kasali rito!” mariing bulong ko sa kanya. I didn’t care if Miss Flores was listening or what I just wanted him to get out of this kasi hindi naman talaga siya kasali! Oh gosh, what is he thinking?! 

“Enough, I’m fine. I was involved. Get over it.” And with that, ginulo niya ang buhok ko. “What is our punishment, Miss Flore?” tanong niya pa kay Miss Flores na para bang okay na okay lang sa kanyang magka-punishment kami. Hindi makapaniwalang napatingin ako kay  Vench. Oh gosh, he’s got to be kidding me?!

Napanganga na lang ako roon at napasandal sa likod ng inuupuan namin. Oh gosh. I cannot believe this! 

“Alright. For your punishment,” Miss Flores started and I couldn’t help but massage my head already. “You will be helping the Arts team to decorate our stage for the foundation day. Not only that, community service for all of you for one week. Do you understand?” 

I heard Gab and the witch (whom I don’t want to call by her name) gasped pero hindi rin naman sila nagsalita pa. I crossed my arms na lang at hindi na rin nagsalita pa roon. 

“Any reaction? Violent reaction?” tanong pa ni Miss Flores. Walang nagsalita sa amin. I pressed my lips together. “If none, then you may now leave and go back to your classes!” 

Napabuga na lang ako ng hininga. I wasn’t able to do anything na rin naman kaya hindi na ako nagreklamo nang hilahin ako ni Vench patayo. Naunang lumabas iyong dalawa. Nang makalabas kami ni Vench sa office ay saka ako huminga nang malalim at saka siya tiningnan. 

“What?” tanong niya pa nang mapansing nakahinto kami. I pouted and gave out a sigh again. 

"Sorry," I said, feeling shy because I dragged him into this mess. 

He just smirked and shook his head. Ginulo niya pa ulit ang hair ko kaya medyo nainis ako. 

"I told you it's fine. I'm fine with it."

I snorted. "How can you be fine with it? Hello? Disciplinary record iyon!" giit ko pa. Ako nga worried doon, eh, pero fault ko rin naman kasi talaga kaya I won't reklamo na. 

"Chillout, Miss Pres. It's fine. At least magkasama tayo sa parusa." And he winked at me. Napatanga na ako roon kaya nagka-chance siyang hilahin ako paalis doon. 

What the heck?! This guy! Palagi na lang akong ginugulat, eh. Ni hindi pa niya sinasagot ang tanong kung bakit nandoon siya sa class ko!
