He ran as fast as he could. His lungs gasping for air, his feet begging him to stop, but no. He continued running. As he got out of the tree's he saw someone walking. He didn't realize who it was as he spoke. "H-help m-me..." The teen turned around and caught him. "Mezo..."

"Toko?" The 6-armed teen stared at the bird-boy in his arms. Fumikage Tokoyami had disappeared after he broke up with his boyfriend of 2 months, leaving Mezo Shoji heartbroken. As Meze Shoji stared at the person he loved most, his eyes looked around his body, seeing all the cuts and bruises that covered Tokoyami's pale skin, noticing he was only wearing a cloth to cover his lower body, and noticed how thin he was. Shoji removed his sweatshirt (Even to it was a tank-top sweatshirt cause of his arms, it still covered Tokoyami completely) and put it on Tokoyami. He stood up and carried Tokoyami back to the UA dorms. Shoji was grateful it was the holiday break and no one was here except Kirishima and Bakugo. But the two went out, so it was just Shoji. Well and now Tokoyami. Shoji walked up to the elevator so he could head to Tokoyami's room. Ever since Tokoyami disappeared, Shoji kept Tokoyami's room clean, in case he ever came back. Azawia tried to move another student into it, but Shoji refused and he moved into Tokoyami's room, letting the new student having his old room. Shoji gently laid Tokoyami on the black sheeted mattress, went into Tokoyami's personal bathroom, and grabbed a warm towel to clean up all the dried blood on Tokoyami. As Shoji removed his sweatshirt, Tokoyami began to shiver. Shoji moved fast and got Tokoyami cleaned and bandaged his wounds. He put the black comforter over the shivering boy. Shoji may have been heartbroken but he loves him, and would do anything for him.

*5 months ago*

Shoji and Tokoyami sat in Shoji's room watching a movie when Tokoyami got a call.

"One minute Mezo." Tokoyami kissed Shoji on the lips as he answered his phone. "Hello?" Shoji walked out of the room to grab them each a drink as Tokoyami's face paled. "What? Why?!" The person at the other end spoke. "No! I love him, and so does dark shadow. He would never hurt me!" Tokoyami was crying as he yelled to him mom.

"Fumikage Tokoyami! You will break up with that boy or so help me i will hurt him." Tokoyami was crying by now. He never told anyone, but his parents helped villains, and would do what they said.

"F-fine!" Tokoyami cried into the Phone. "Just please... don't hurt him!"

"As long as you agree with my terms, and you leave UA High... I will not harm a single hair on his head." Tokoyami hung up and cried. Shoji came back in, and watched in shock as Tokoyami cried.

"Fumi?" Shoji put the drinks on the table and sat next to Tokoyami. "What happened." Tokoyami mumbled something. "What was that?"

"I said we are though!" Tokoyami pushed Shoji away and ran out of the room.

"Fumi!" Shoji followed after him, grabbing his wrist. "What are you talking about!" Tokoyami turned and faced Shoji, and Punched him in the face.

"Leave me Alone!" Tokoyami ran into his room, sat with his back against the door, and started crying. "I am so sorry Mezo..." Shoji stood in shock. The love of his life had just randomly said that they were through, then Punched him in the face. He walked to Tokoyami's door.

"Can we talk about this Fumi?" Shoji put his head against the Door. "Please?" Shoji never got an answer. After about a half hour, Shoji cried. "I love you.." He walked away and went to his room, crying himself to sleep. The Next day, Tokoyami was gone. No one asked Shoji what happened, due to the fact that Shoji looked like death walking. And he did... for 4 months. Until Something hit him like a bag of bricks. Tokoyami's mother and father were always so secretive, Tokoyami never told him what they did, every time they called, Tokoyami always ran to him and made him help i'm forget his pain. His family must have threatened him with something. After that, Shoji did everything he could to find his boyfriend. Whether he wanted to be found or not.

*Back to the present*

Tokoyami woke up in a soft bed, not hard cement. As he opened his eyes, he noticed it was his room at UA. "H-how?" As he sat up and looked around, Shoji walked in carrying a tray of food.

"You're awake," Shoji nodded. Tokoyami stared in disbelief.

"Shoji?!" Tokoyami started to freak out. "Why?"

"You came out of the woods, looked at me asked me to help, and passed out." Shoji sat on the bed. "I carried you here and took care of you." Tokoyami looked around.

"Are we in my room?"

"Yeah."

"How is it so clean?" Tokoyami asked. He was sure that Azaiawa would have moved all his things out and a new student would have moved in. Shoji looked away.

"I kept it clean because I knew you would come back. After a month Azaiwa tried to move another student in here but I told him no and moved in here, not moving anything of yours." Shoji sighed.

"You what?" Tokoyami was shocked. "Why?" tears started to form in his eyes. Shoji looked down.

"Because I love you," Shoji looked Tokoyami in the eyes. "And I can't live without you." Tokoyami was balling now.

"B-But Why?!" Tokoyami yelled. "I hurt you! You should Hate Me!!!!" Shoji pulled Tokoyami into a hug. Tokoyami cried into Shoji's chest.

"I would never hate you." Shoji smiled at him. "And I figured out that something forced you to do what you did." Tokoyami looked Shoji in the eye. "Fumikage Tokoyami, I love you. Do you love me?" Tokoyami looked Shoji in the eyes, then reached up to remove the mask that covered Shoji's face, showing the mouth Tokoyami missed kissing.

"I d-do love you Mezo Shoji," Tokoyami then forced his lips on Shoji's, kissing him hard. Both missed this so much, so they had a nice few minutes of kissing before Shoji pulled away.

"As much as I have missed that amazing beak of yours," Shoji smirked as tokoyami blushed, he pointed to the soup on the desk. "You Need to eat." Tokoyami nodded and Shoji handed him his food.

"Thank you Mezo," Tokoyami held his hand. "For not giving up on me." Shoji squeezed Tokoyami's hand.

"Of course." Shoji smiled. "But i would like to know why you did what you did..."

"Yes, Of course I will tell you." Tokoyami Looked him in the eye's. "You deserve to know." After he ate, He told Shoji about his phone call with his mom, threatening to hurt Shoji if Tokoyami didn't leave him and how his parents worked with villains and made Tokoyami kill people, or they killed everyone at UA, starting with Shoji. And That a month ago, he tried running away, but got caught... and punished. As he told Shoji, Tokoyami was shaking, due to the fact he was remembering everything that happened. Shoji held Tokoyami. "I-I couldn't let them hurt you... or UA."

"I understand Fumi." Shoji said as they laid on Tokoyami's bed, cuddling. Tokoyami laid his head on Shoji's chest and listened to his heartbeat.

"What are we going to tell Principle Nezu, Aizawa, All might, everyone!" Tokoyami panicked as he realizes he has to tell his friends and teachers what happened. Shoji grabbed him and hugged him.

"We will do it together. Ok?" Tokoyami nodded as he hugged Shoji back, falling asleep peacefully.

*The Next Day*

Everyone had come back and Shoji had gathered everyone in 1-A plus the teachers. Shoji told them he had an announcement to make... being happy. No one had seen his eyes light up like they were.

"This better be good octopus!" Bakugo grumbled, cuddling into Kirishima's side.

*With Tokoyami*

He had Taken a shower and got on a clean long sleeve black shirt, grey jeans, and wore one of Shoji's smaller hoodies (that he had when he was younger) that Shoji had given him, and waited for Shoji to come get him.

"Fumi," Shoji came in, kneeled in front of him, and grabbed his hand. "You ready?"

"Ready as i will ever be..." Tokoyami looked Shoji in the eyes. "But what if they don't believe me?" Shoji smiled at his boyfriend.

"Trust me." Shoji held his hand as they walked out of the room. Tokoyami stood behind shoji as they came to a stop. "Everyone, look who's back!" Shoji moved so they could see Tokoyami. Everyone stared and frowned. Tokoyami went behind Shoji and hugged him.

"I don't think they are happy to see me..." Tokoyami whispered in Shoji's ear. Shoji looked at everyone and saw they were shocked.

"Um guys?" Shoji looked Aizawa then looked at everyone else. "What's wrong?"

"Why is he here?" Aizawa asked Shoji while keeping his eye on Tokoyami.

"Because he came back?" Shoji held Tokoyami's hand. "Why are you all looking at him like he is a villain?"

"Shoji," All Might said calmly. "Listen to us, After Tokoyami left UA," Tokoyami squeezed Shoji's hand. And Shoji returned it. "He worked with the villains. I know it's hard to believe but it's true." All might sighed. "And he murdered over 100 people."

"I KNOW THAT!" Shoji yelled, shocking everyone, but Tokoyami. "He already told me. But it wasn't his choice." Shoji looked everyone in the eye. "He was forced!"

"You Honestly believe That Villian?!" Hagakure shouted. "Shoji, he isn't the Tokoyami you know. He is a villain." Shoji was controlling his anger, but once he saw what Hagakure said started to make tokoyami tear up,he lost it.

"HE DID IT TO PROTECT EVERYONE!" Shoji yelled. "HIS PARENTS THREATENED TO KILL EVERYONE HE HELD DEAR." Everyone stared as they watched Shoji start to cry anger tears. "He did it to protect me." Tokoyami hugged Shoji and Shoji returned the hug.

"Shoji," Aizawa started but Shoji interrupted him.

"Don't." Shoji picked up his boyfriend and walked back to their room. "I thought you guys cared for him. I guess you don't." Everyone stood dumb-struck.

*With Tokoyami and Shoji*

Shoji had locked the door and cuddled with Tokoyami on the bed. They laid on the bed and Shoji stroked the feathers on Tokoyami's head.

"Shoji?" Tokoyami asked his boyfriend.

"Yes Fumi?"

"Why did you believe me when i told you what happened?"

"Because I know you would never lie." Shoji smiled at Tokoyami. "You're too honest for your own good." Tokoyami giggled.

"That is true." Tokoyami looked away from Shoji. "Why do you still love me?"

"Why are you asking these questions Toko?" Shoji wondered as he stared into his boyfriend's red eyes. "I love you because I do. I have since Camp. When you lost control of Dark Shadow, I realized how much you meant to me." Tokoyami started crying into Shoji's chest.

"I'm asking because i know i was forced to work for the villains..." Tokoyami took a breath. "But i murdered 100's of people." Shoji sighed.

"I know the truth." Shoji then smiled. "It flatters me that you would kill people just to keep me safe." Tokoyami smiled.

"I would give my life for you." Tokoyami leaned up and kissed shoji.

"Better not die on me anytime soon." Shoji pulled away to look Tokoyami in the eye. Tokoyami smiled at his boyfriend.

"I promise. I won't"

*3 months later*

It took a few, but everyone was trusting Tokoyami and tokoyami was happy again. His parents were taken away and he lived with Shoji and his parents during the summer. Tokoyami and Shoji were happy again. But someone decided that that happiness shouldn't last...
