YOUR POV
"You've never had a birthday party?" I asked my boyfriend as I held onto his arm while walking in the halls of U.A.

"My father never found the importance of it. He said it was just something that got in the way of training. So I guess I've never really celebrated it." Just that moment Deku, Iida, and Ochaco sprinted down the halls towards us.

"Happy Birthday Todoroki!"

I gave my boyfriend a look. "Don't look at me like that." He sighed. "Like I have control over that." He motioned to our friends.

Deku came over to us with some balloons. "Happy Birthday Todoroki!" He gave us his usual sunshine smile.

"Thanks guys. But you know I don't celebrate my birthday."

Ochaco butted in. "Well we just wanted to make this day a little special."

"You should be appreciated on your birthday Todoroki." Iida said while performing his chopping hand movement.

"We should get to class." Shoto said as he gave me the balloons and walked to class with me.

~After School~

"I'll see you tomorrow Shoto! Happy Birthday!"

He gave me a kiss on a cheek. "See you tomorrow love."

As he left I caught up with Deku, Iida, and Ochaco. "Hey guys. I want to have a small birthday party for Shoto at that new soba house down the road. I already talked to the owner ahead of time and everything!"

"I love that idea!" Ochaco smiled at me.

"Great. I just need some help. I need someone to get some decorations, someone else to get a cake, and someone to text Shoto to meet at the soba house. I can't do it because then Shoto will think something is up." I explained.

"What are you going to do (l/n)?" Iida asked.

"I'm going to meet up with someone special, and am going to see if they can come to Shoto's party."

Deku began to talk. "Okay. Text me the address of the soba house and we'll meet you there at?"

"At five. Thanks guys, this is going to be great!" As soon as I said that I rushed to the train station.

~Later~

I walked up to the big white building. I know Shoto has already made amends with her so she should be with us to celebrate his birthday. I walked up to the reception table. "Hi, I'm looking for Todoroki Rei."

The lady looked up from her computer. "Friend or family?"

Oh crap. I never thought about that. Of course they wouldn't just let me see a mental hospital patient. I mean, I'm dating her son so a friend I guess. Granted she's never met me. Oh whatever!

"Ma'am." The lady snapped me out of my mental argument with myself.

"A friend. I'm Todoroki Rei's friend." I really hope Shoto's mom is as nice as he said she is. The lady nodded and printed me out a pass.

"Room 142. Down the hall to the left."

"Thank you." I smiled as I walked to see Shoto's mom. I know they've had problems in the pass and have made up, so I know this would mean the world if I could somehow get Shoto's mom to come.

3RD PERSON POV
Rei lifted her head as she heard three knocks on her door. "Who is it?"

"Oh, you probably don't know me but I'm (l/n) (y/n) and-"

Rei cut her off and responded in an elated tone. "You're Shoto's girlfriend."

(y/n) responded a little surprised. "Yes I am. I wasn't sure if you knew me or not and-"

The white haired lady cut her off again. "Come in come in!" Rei opened the door to her room. "It's so nice to finally meet you (l/n)!"

"You can just call me (y/n)."

"Then you should call me Rei. Oh I'm so glad I finally get to meet you! Shoto has talked about you so so much. Can I give you a hug?"

"O-of course Rei." Right when she said that Rei hugged (y/n). "Shoto's right. You're really nice."

Rei stopped hugging (y/n) and spoke. "So why are you here? Is Shoto okay?"

"Yes. Shoto's more than fine, but I was wondering if you would want to come to a surprise birthday party for Shoto with me. It's going to be at a soba house and it's just going to be me, him, and a couple of friends from school. And you if you want to come of course."

Rei's eyes sparkled. "Of course I'd want to come. I just can't be out to long according to the rules of this institute."

(y/n) pulled out her phone to look at the time. "Well the party starts at five which is thirty minuets from now which should give us enough time to get to the soba house. So let's go!"

~Time Skip~

"How much longer until I can take off this blindfold Midoriya?"

"Just a tiny bit. We're almost there Todoroki."

Everyone else was hiding behind the table with the lights off. "Okay and open."

"Surprise!" Everyone jumped out from their hiding spots as Izuku turned on the lights to the private room (y/n) booked for the party.

"W-what."

"Happy Birthday love!" (y/n) ran to giver her boyfriend a hug and kiss on the cheek. "And there's someone special here to see you."

Shoto looked and met eyes with his mother. "Mom?" Shoto ran up and gave her a tight hug. "How were you able to get out of the hospital for a visit? I thought you needed a family signature to get out. Fuyumi and Natsuo are out of town, and heaven forbid-"

"I may or may not have forged your signature. Sorry. But I thought it'd be worth it to see your mom today for your birthday." (y/n) responded thinking about all the trouble she's going to be in if the receptionist finds out.

"You planned this love?"

"She planned all of this for you Todoroki!" Ochaco exclaimed.

Shoto looked at (y/n) and passionately kissed her on the lips. Ochaco and Rei fangirled in the corner while Izuku turned away a little embarrassed. "Get a room you two!" Iida yelled with his waving hand motion going crazy. (y/n) and Shoto stopped kissing, (y/n)'s face exploding with red.

"Shut it Iida! You ruined the moment!" Ochaco said annoyed.

"Well let's continue the party!"
