Many Problems, One Girl
Eimi's POV
"Has anyone seen my blue sweater? I can't find it anywhere." I called out while walking into the common room, only to find that no one was there. But on the bright side, my sweater was sitting on the back of the couch.
I walked over and picked it up before holding it in my arms and looking around.
"Is anybody here?" I called out again only to get no response, again.
"Weird..." I mumbled before walking back to my room. It didn't take long for me to arrive back and just as I sat down, my phone started to ring. Picking up the phone I looked at the caller ID to see it was Dadzawa. What could he be calling me for? It's the weekend. I answered the call and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?"
I heard a sigh of relief before my eyes widened.
Before I knew it, I was standing in front of my classroom and taking a deep breath. I grabbed the handle and slid open the door only to come face to face with a stuffed bunny plushie. It fell to the ground and I looked forward.
"Sorwy, I'll be mor' carefuwl next time."
I then looked down to see a small black-haired girl picking up the bunny plushie before smiling up at me. She looked to be around 4 or 5. I crouched down and smiled at her.
"What's your name?" I asked when I heard an explosion go off. My head quickly turned and my eyes almost jumped out of their sockets.
"I'm better than all of you!" A familiar-sounding voice cackled out. Dadzawa's scarf flew out and wrapped around the cackling boy before I heard him sighing. I turned to look behind me but was stopped by a tiny hand grabbing my arm.
"How come you're hair is wike mine?" A tiny voice caught my attention.
I stopped in my motion and turned once again to see a small boy with split red and white hair. My eyes widened and I stuttered out.
"S-Shoto?"
He tilted his head to the side while looking up at me.
"How'd you know m'name?"
I picked up the small Shoto and held him tight in my arms before turning to Dadzawa. His face was blank but obviously tired.
"Yeah, they're all 5-year-olds now. They'll be like this for the whole day."
I looked down at the small black-haired girl to now see it was a tiny Momo, and the cackling boy is Katsuki and I am indeed holding a tiny Shoto. My hold on Shoto slightly tightened before I spoke up after a wheeze left his mouth.
"When you called me saying there was a problem with the class and I needed to get here right away, this was not what I was expecting. Like, at all."
"Yeah, I wasn't expecting this problem today either. We're lucky it's the weekend so they won't miss any classes, but someone needs to watch over them all and I have hero work to do."
My face dropped a bit before I slowly blinked, giving him the signature Todoroki blank stare.
"I'm guessing that's what I was called here for, right?" I said with a sigh. Dadzawa's hand rubbed my head softly before he released Katsuki and retracted his scarf.
"Sorry to leave this all to you, but I know you can do it, and it will be good experience for the future."
With those final words and reassurance, Dadzawa left the room and shut the door behind him. I gulped and faced the room which I now only realized was organized differently to account for the small children. All the desks were pushed to the back of the classroom and covered with some sheets while the chairs were all stacked nicely beside them. There were some carpets and blankets spread out on the floor as well as piles of toys scattered around the room. And last but not least, all the children. Who were my classmates, but five.
"Hewwo?"
I was caught off surprised and looked down to see who called out to me. It was a small black-haired boy with red eyes. There's no one in the class that looks like that. Unless... I looked around and nodded.
"Yes, Kiri?" I said sweetly to him and his eyes sparkled. Before he could say anything else a small boy with dark blue hair and glasses sped over to me and stopped at my feet and looked me in the eye.
"Are you watching over us today?" He asked with perfect pronunciation of his words. No doubt about it, this is Tenya.
"Ah, yes. Yes, I am. Will you help get everybody's attention so I can say something?" I asked him, knowing that he's still going to want to try and be in charge.
"Yes! Right away!" He sped off and went around telling everybody to sit in the middle of the classroom. Mostly everyone was sitting in the center and I was just waiting on Katsuki to sit down since I was holding Shoto in my arms.
Tenya was chasing him and telling him to sit in the middle with everyone else but he just wasn't listening. Now I understand what Auntie said about his 180 attitude once I left. I sighed and placed Shoto down carefully and patted his head before walking over to the two who weren't sitting down yet. Katsuki then ran into my legs because he wasn't looking where he was going and fell down.
"Are you okay? I told you to sit down and this wouldn't have happened if you just listened!" Tenya started to reprimand him and I only held my hand up to stop him. His lips smacked closed and he shuffled back before quickly running to sit with the others. I shook my head before looking down at Katsuki to see that he was only staring up at me.
"Why aren't you sitting in the middle with everyone else?" I asked and Katsuki growled before standing up and crossing his arms.
"He's no adult and I don't even know who he is, or you for that matter." He pouted and I shook my head.
"Well maybe if you listened you would know that, now wouldn't you?"
"I'm not listening to you!" He yelled and my smile was replaced with a frown. If he's going to be this troublesome I'll have to change my tactics with him. I pointed my finger at the middle of the room and sternly called out to him.
"Katsuki Bakugo, sit down with the others."
His eyes widened and he was going to protest but shut up quickly when he saw my eyes. He quickly ran over to the others and sat down before I could say anything else. I smiled and made my way over to the front of the group before standing in front of them. Shoto was off to the side and looked a little lost so I motioned him over. He looked around at everyone else before slowly making his way over to me via a small waddle. I then picked him up and held him in my arms.
He stayed quiet as I spoke up.
"Okay, everyone. I'm Eimi and I'll be looking after you all today, sound good?"
A few raised their hands and I giggled a bit before nodding slightly and calling out to one of them.
"Yes, Mina?"
Her eyes widened before she stuttered a bit.
"Uh, how come your hair is da same as his." She questioned while pointing at Shoto in my arms. I smiled before answering.
"Well, that's because I'm his sister."
There were some 'oooohs' and 'awws' from some children and a confused noise from Shoto himself. I could tell that he was already a shy kid from the way he was acting, he must have started changing his attitude once he got his burn scar, which he doesn't have right now.
I looked back into the crowd and pointed at Momo.
"Momo?"
She cleared her voice and spoke up quite loudly.
"Where are we and how come you seem to know everyone's names already?"
Her speech is definitely different from when she first spoke to me, but maybe it's because she was just playing around and didn't want to pronounce her words that well.
"Oh, I guess this was bound to be asked." I sat down and placed Shoto in my lap. "This may be hard to understand but I'm actually your classmate, you all are in Class 1-A in UA High School. The hero course."
"How is Deku in the hero course! He's a quirkless crybaby!" Katsuki angrily called out before laughing at the end when he insulted Izuku. I looked over to his side to see Izuku sadly looking down at his hands with tears welling up in his big green eyes. I frowned at his expression before I spoke up.
"Izuku, can you come over here please?"
His head looked up and he nodded slightly before making his way over to me. I moved Shoto onto one of my legs and patted my other leg for Izuku to sit on. He shakily came over to me before I sped up the process by pulling him into a hug. His tiny hands grabbed onto my shirt before he started to cry into my chest. I rubbed his back and looked back at everyone.
"Thank you for reminding me to set some rules, Katsuki." I said and everyone seemed to sit quietly and look over at me. Katsuki's face showed one of anger but he didn't say anything.
"Rule number one: No being rude to each other. That means no making fun of someone for their looks or if they make a mistake." I explained and everyone nodded except for Katsuki.
"Rule number two: You are to listen to me and if there are any problems you are to come to me, understand?"
They all nodded their heads and I stared at Katsuki until he nodded as well. I continued to rub Izuku's back and Shoto silently watched me.
"You guys can go play as long as you stay in this room." I said softly as to not startle the crying Izuku.
Everyone got up and went to different spots to either play with each other or by themselves. I felt a tug on my shirt and looked down at Shoto.
"What is it, Shoto?" I asked and he looked at his hands before mumbling.
"How come he's crying..."
"Did you not hear what Katsuki said to him?"
Shoto shook his head and continued to keep hold of my shirt. So the position I was in was one I didn't think I was going to be in for a while at least. I was sitting on the ground with my legs crossed and two children sitting on either one of my legs while one is crying and holding onto me while the other is confused and also holding onto me. I rubbed Shoto's head softly and did the same for Izuku. This caused him to lift his head and look at me.
"You okay there, Izuku?"
He nodded while rubbing his eyes. Shoto watched him and sat there awkwardly, not having the slightest clue on what to do in his situation. I leaned down and whispered something in his ear and he nodded slightly before reaching out with a shaky hand and tapping Izuku's arm with his pointer finger. Izuku looked at him and sniffled.
"Y-yeah?" Izuku questioned which made Shoto retract his hand and grab his fingers nervously. Shoto almost curled in on himself when I gently cupped his face and rubbed his cheek with my thumb. He looked at me and I smiled softly, giving him a nod of encouragement. He sucked in his breath and forced the words from his mouth quickly.
"Do you wanna go play with me." His words were quiet but Izuku and I were able to hear him. Izuku processed what he was just asked before his eyes widened and his lips curled up in a smile.
"Yes!" He replied which caused Shoto to look up in surprise. I remember both Shoto and Izuku telling me that they didn't really play with other children. Or, well, Shoto didn't for sure since he wasn't even allowed to play with our siblings as he was trained by our father since he got his quirk. Izuku had Katsuki and the other kids but they were never nice to him after he was labeled quirkless.
I helped both of the kids up and they ran over to a corner to play some sort of game. Most likely something to do with heroes since they were both obsessed with them as children, and honestly, they still are, less Shoto but still.
I stood up and brushed off my pants before huffing out and looking around the room. Everyone seemed to be playing nicely with each other. All except for Katsuki, who was sitting against the wall by himself, and he looked kind of sad. I knew the reason why he was sad, it wasn't that long ago that I stopped getting to see him at the age that he is right now. I might as well tell him that it's me. I thought to myself before making my way over to him.
I sat down beside him and he didn't even spare me a glance. I stayed silent for a few seconds until I decided to speak up.
"What's got you down?" I asked, wanting to get him to trust me as me before I tell him who I am to him. He looked at me slightly before looking back at the ground.
"There's no one here I want to play with." He mumbled and I felt a ping through my heart. This poor baby!
"Then who is it that you want to play with?"
His face fell even more and I could see tears starting to well up in his eyes. It hurt him this much? Why didn't he tell me?
I reached over his head and grabbed his shoulder before pulling him into my side. He grabbed my shirt with shaky hands and tried his best to keep in his tears, he didn't want anyone to see him cry. He was a big boy after all. I rubbed his arm softly for a few seconds until he broke and started to fully cry into my side. I sighed while I picked him up and started cradling him in my arms as he would to me when I would cry.
"Oh, how the tables have turned."
"H-huh?" I heard a little sniffle.
"Shoot, did I say that out loud?"
Katsuki nodded his head and I hugged him tight and hid my head in his hair. He just froze and didn't move until I brought my head up and ruffled his hair with my right hand.
"I'm sorry, everything must be so confusing for you right now. You're in a place you don't know, with kids your age that you don't know, and you don't know why I left you so suddenly. I'm so sorry!" I confessed while hugging him tightly again.
"I don't u-understand. What do you m-mean you left me?" He wheezed out since I was hugging him so tightly.
"Shhhhh. Let me have my moment, Suki."
I could feel his eyes widening just from how silent he went.
"Sn-snowy?" He mumbled quietly and I nodded while holding his face in my hands. His face looked shocked and I only smiled before placing a small kiss on his forehead.
"We meet again in your future, and this time I'm not leaving."
He crashed into my chest and hugged his arms around my neck in a tight hug.
"Don't leave me again..." He said, though it was muffled from my hair and neck. I returned his hug while rubbing his back in small circles.
"I won't." I smiled before looking around the classroom. Everyone seemed to be doing good at the moment but I knew it wouldn't last long. I stood up with Katsuki still in my arms and walked to the center of the room. Let's see if this will work.
I adjusted my hold on Katsuki and held my hands out before clapping them in a small pattern. Everyone stopped doing what they were doing and clapped back. I smiled and motioned for everyone to stand around me. They did as I told and were soon around me. Shoto grabbed onto my pant leg and I rested my hand on his head.
"Okay, everyone. We are going to take a walk to the dorms where we will be staying for the rest of the day." I said and some were excited while others were confused.
"What are the dorms." One of Shoji's arms asked and I smiled.
"That's where we all sleep. Sorry, I should've explained that first, thanks for asking Shoji."
He nodded and I was about to head to the door but stopped. I have 20 5-year-olds with me right now. I shouldn't just go out with them and expect them to walk nicely to our destination, though I got the, arguably, most rambunctious one in my arms right now. Hmmm.
I turned and looked around for a certain someone before my eyes landed on them and I smiled.
"Hey, Momo, I've got a question for you."
"Yes?" She replied while walking up to me.
"Do you think you could make a long rope for all of us to hold on our walk?" I asked with hopeful eyes. Momo's eyes widened and she beamed up at me.
"Of course! Twine was one of the first things I learned to make so I already know its components!" She exclaimed and I reached down to ruffle her hair while she pulled up her sleeve to start making the rope.
It wasn't long until she finished and held up the rope with a happy smile.
"All done! Is this good?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yes! It's perfect, thank you!"
Momo blushed from my compliment and giggled.
"Okay, everyone! Line up and grab the rope with one of your hands." I instructed and the children quickly grabbed the rope and stood in a line, well, all of them except for Katsuki and Shoto. I looked at the boy in my arms and the one at my leg. I thought for a second until I decided on a move.
I whispered to Katsuki before hoisting him onto my shoulders. I held onto his ankle so he wouldn't fall and I grabbed Shoto's hand in mine. He shyly smiled up at me before looking back down. It was then did I realize that now I couldn't hold to the rope to lead the kids back to the dorms. I looked at the line of kids and quickly got an idea.
"Izuku, do you think you could hold Shoto's hand and the rope to help him lead the group to the dorms?"
Izuku's eye's brightened at the thought of leading the class back and quickly ran to the front and grabbed Shoto's hand happily before grabbing the front of the rope.
"Everyone ready?" I asked while looking behind me.
"Yeah!" They all replied and I patted Katsuki's leg. He patted my head in response and then let his hands rest on my hair. I smiled and opened the door before returning my hand to Katsuki's ankle.
I then started to lead my classmates down the halls of UA, down the stairs where I told them to be careful, and out the front doors. I decided to go through the front doors rather than the side doors we would usually leave from to get back to the dorms so they could use more of their energy. I would rather look after a bunch of tired 5-year-olds rather than excited and crazy ones.
I realize that Katsuki wouldn't be getting any energy out, but now that he knows it's me, I think we'll be fine. I continued to lead the group around the school and through a few extra places before we reached the dorms. I led them all in and told them to take their shoes off before coming in any further. Tenya gathered up the rope before coming up to me.
"Where should I put this, Eimi?" He asked and I just looked at him for a bit in surprise that he called me Eimi, since he usually calls me Todo. Even though I told him he didn't have to anymore but he puts it down to respect. You know what, I won't bug him about calling me that anymore. I'll just accept it as a nickname.
"Oh, uh. Just on the counter over there."
He nodded before quickly speeding over there. Even when he didn't use his quirk, he was still really fast. I crouched down to let Katsuki off my shoulders and he carefully got off before standing beside me. He took off his shoes before sticking to my side.
"Excuse me." A small voice caught my attention and I looked down to see a small Ura at my feet.
"Yes?"
"What are we going to eat for dinner? It's about that time, right?"
I looked up in thought. What am I going to do for dinner? It's Tsu and Ura's turn to cook this week and they were really looking forward to surprising the class, so much so that they don't want us to look in the fridge as we'd spoil the dish. I guess it couldn't hurt to have take out this one time...
"You're right Ura! And I was thinking that we could get some take out as this is a special occasion!" I exclaimed brightly at her and her eyes widened at the mention of take out food.
"Take out?! I haven't had that for a long time!"
I sadly smiled at her before rubbing her head and sending her off. I almost forgot that her parents are troubled with money, but that is her reason for becoming a hero. I felt a tug on my shirt and looked down to see Katsuki looking up at me.
"What's the occasion for it then?" He asked and I picked him up before placing him on my hip.
"It's the first time you all met each other!"
He nodded while grabbing onto my shirt with one hand before I walked over to the couches.
"Come to the couches kiddos!" I called out and the kids came filing in. I stood in front of the TV while everyone shoved their way onto the couches. All of them were able to fit on the couches due to their small size. I cleared my throat before smiling at them all.
"I was thinking take out for dinner tonight-" everyone started to cheer and talk to each other in excitement while Momo asked Kyoka what 'take out' was. I shushed everyone before I continued to speak.
"As I was saying, we need to agree on what we want. There are also some new restaurants that you wouldn't know of that I think you guys would enjoy."
"What kind of restaruruants is 'dere?" A small Denki asked while totally butchering the pronunciation of restaurant. I giggled at him before answering his question.
"Well, they are places from America! They have burgers and fries, as well as chicken nuggets and so much more! Would you like to get some of that kind of food?" I explained before asking them. I saw all their little eyes pop out of their heads in amazement at the types of foods I told them before they all nodded their heads.
"Yesh!" A combination of voices called out and I nodded before turning on a movie for them all. I walked over to the kitchen before placing Katsuki on the counter and pulling out my phone. I looked at him to see he was just watching me with wide eyes. I ruffled his hair softly.
"Is something the matter?" I asked him and it took him a few seconds to realize I had asked him something before he shook his head to the side. He looked down at his hands.
"It's just- I can't believe that it's you... and your hair...." He voiced his inner thoughts and I could only smile at him. I pulled him into a hug, wrapping my arms around his upper back while he just sat there. I pulled back before pinched his cheeks causing him to swat my hands away.
"Nooooo." He whined which caused me to giggle. I looked at the phone in my hands and showed him the lock screen. It was a picture of us, obviously, but it showed him what he looked like now. I was on his shoulders while he stood in a battle-ready stance, his hands out ready to explode our enemies. I was pointing ahead of us mid yell. The reason behind this photo was a party that Denki made for us all to have fun after a big test.
But the most important reason to this photo was that Katsuki was smiling in it, and not one of his creepy battle smiles, but a genuine one, that really showed he was having fun and not just being forced into something. I was also smiling in my mid yell and it just summed up our relationship perfectly.
"Is-- is that really me?" The tiny Katsuki asked and I nodded.
"Wanna see a photo of the whole class?" I asked and he eagerly nodded his head. I laughed before opening the photos app and scrolling a bit to when we all were at a park. This was one of my most favourite photos of the class because it caught the essence of us perfectly. It was a mid-action shot and there was plenty of things going on in it.
Denki was being pushed off the side of the slide while Sero and Kiri were sliding down. Mina was sitting on the railings by the slide swinging her feet with Kyoka and Momo laughing at Denki's misery. Sato, Kouda, Ojiro, and Tokoyami were all watching and cheering to see how far Shoji could throw Mineta away since he just tried to jump on Tsu. Ura was protectively hugging Tsu while she pouted about Mineta. Tenya was waving his hands around while yelling at how Shoto was letting Izu stand on his shoulders while trying to get a ball out of the tree. Toru was spinning around trying to win against Yuga, and Katsuki and I? We were wrestling over the frisbee, literally. Like he had me in a headlock and everything. I wouldn't let go of it, no matter what. I got it first, fair and square.
If you call fair and square; tripping him by freezing his right foot to the ground and jumping over him, then yes, it was fair.
The funniest part of that photo was that I did actually pass out from lack of air after a while and Shoto almost killed Katsuki. But it was all resolved once I woke up to Dadzawa looking over me and Momo holding an icepack to my head. Let's just say, Katsuki wouldn't look me in the eye for a couple of days.
I watched as Katsuki's eyes wandered over the photo as he zoomed in and carefully looked at everyone. He soon looked up at me and was about to say something when his face contorted.
"What's the matter?" I asked him, reaching my hand to his shoulder and rubbing it.
"I really have to use the bathroom." He mumbled which caused me to giggle. I moved my hand to his head and ruffled it. He started to squirm and pout at my laughter before I scooped him up in my arms and walked to the joint bathrooms. I set him down and pushed the door open for him.
"Bathrooms in there. There's a stool under the sink for when you need to wash your hands. Shout if you need anything."
"Okay..." He trailed off before slowly walking into the bathroom. I let go of the door after he made it through and wiped off my hands before looking into the common room. All the kids were still watching the movie I put on and for some reason, I was feeling sad that my little company was gone. I know he just needed to use the bathroom and he'll be out in a few minutes, but it still feels empty.
Katsuki's POV
Snowy wasn't kidding about the bathroom counters being too tall for me. I thought as I pulled out the stool so I could wash my hands. But as I was stepping onto it, my sock betrayed me and caused me to slip onto the ground. Where did the light go?
"Ow. That hurt like a bitch." I grumbled as I rubbed my head. I then had a chance to look around at my surroundings to find I was in the bathroom. This wasn't where I was just a second ago...
I blinked a couple of times before I got up and felt a breeze on my back. It was then brought to my attention that I was completely naked.
"When in the hell...?"
I shrugged it off and walked over to the small bathroom lockers to open mine. I grabbed a spare pair of sweats and a shirt before looking around for some boxers, only to find that I didn't have any in here. Oh well. Commando it is then. I threw on my clothes before pulling the door open.
When I walked through, I started to hear some old Disney movie playing and figured Dunce face, Raccoon eyes, and Shitty hair were watching it instead of doing their work, only to be shockingly surprised when I found a bunch of toddlers occupying the couches.
I looked around to see if there was anybody in charge of these brats, only to find Eimi squeezing a small child in her arms with a sad-ish pout to her face. My eyebrow raised as I looked closer at the child in her arms. Why does that kid seem like a tiny half n' half bastard? My thoughts were interrupted as a very familiar child ran up to them and pulled on Eimi's arm.
"Shochans' gonna die if you don't stop hugging him!" The tiny Deku child wailed out. Eimi sighed sadly before letting him go but the child stayed in her lap while holding onto her shirt. I was about to walk forward towards them but froze when I felt a tiny hand tug on my pant leg. My eyes trailed down to see a black-haired boy staring up at me.
I stared at him, trying to see if I knew him but nothing was coming up.
"How come you so big now?" He asked and I stared up in confusion. What the hell does this kid mean?
"Eimi! Baku-" The kid started but was cut off by a frantic sounding Eimi.
"What's wrong with Katsuki--" She ran over to freeze in front of me. Her eyes moved up and down before she reached out and poked my chest.
"The hell are you-" It was now my turn to be cut off as she jumped onto me before wrapping herself around my neck and waist like a koala hugging a tree.
"You're back!" Eimi cheered into my ears as I cringed from the loud sound. I reached my hands under her arms and tried to rip her off but her grip was too strong. I blinked a couple of times before I decided to investigate who all these children were.
It didn't take me even two minutes to realize these kids were my classmates and that Eimi was the only one who didn't get turned into a child. I figured I did too because the small black-haired kid asked why I was big all of a sudden. Which brings me to that same boy. Who was he? I was about to give up and ask him, but Eimi pulled back and looked down at him.
"Thanks for telling me that Katsuki was back to normal, Kiri!"
So Shitty hair's real hair colour is black? Good to know.
"Uh-huh!" He exclaimed before running back to the couch.
I sighed before tickling Eimi's sides which caused her to laugh and let go. I caught her before she hit the ground and stood her up. Her eyes met mine and I stared at her.
"Mind telling me what the hell happened here?"
"Oh! Let's go over to the kitchen first." She smiled while grabbing my hand and pulling me away from the couches to the kitchen. She jumped onto the countertop before pulling me to stand between her legs. She ruffled my hair before leaning back and sighing.
"Okay, so what you're telling me is that everyone, but you, got turned into five-year-olds and you were left to watch all of us by yourself?" I questioned as Eimi rubbed my hands.
"Yep! But now you're here to help me too!" She exclaimed before quickly losing all colour in her face. "I still need to order chicken nuggets and fries!"
"You need to order chicken nuggets and fries?" I repeated and she frantically nodded her head before pulling out her phone.
"How many packs do you think we'll need? How many kids are there again? Crap! Where's my wallet? I need to-" She started rambling and quickly grabbed her face to make her look at me.
"Wha-" I cut her off by placing my lips on hers and skillfully, while she was distracted, taking her phone and stepping back.
"H-hey!" I heard her stammer but I held up my finger as I put the phone to my ear.
"Yeah, hi. I would like to order 10 nugget combos and two strawberry milkshakes for delivery."
The guy on the other end then asked me a couple of questions before I answered and hung up.
"It will be here in 20 minutes."
Eimi just sat there in a blush and I cooed at her.
"Aw, is someone embarrassed?"
She turned her body to the side and crossed her arms over her chest in a pout.
"Oh come on, you know you liked it."
She then jumped off the counter and quickly waddled over to the couches and pulled a random kid off the couch before sitting on the ground and hugging them. The kid looked up in surprise before their eyes trailed over to me. With widened eyes, they looked between Eimi and I before they protectively hugged Eimi back while kinda glaring at me. This kid was Deku.
"Don't go running away to that damn nerd!"
Deku's small glare quickly turned into a pout before tears welled up in his eyes. Eimi quickly sensed his distraught and started petting his mess of hair and whispering something in his ears. His tears flowed even more and Eimi started to tense. It looked like she was trying to hold back. But what.
"Izu, please! You're gonna make me cry too!" She strained before I saw slight glistening in her eyes that soon turned into tears.
I guess Shoto sensed their tears before he waddled from the other side of the couch and sat down beside them. Since Deku was sitting in Eimi's lap while they both hugged each other and cried, Shoto didn't have much he could do to comfort them, I also doubt that he would know how to comfort someone considering his age and inexperience. He settled for leaning his body against Eimi's and just resting there silently.
"Eeeeeeek!" I heard a squeal followed by many other screams and shrieks. My eyes opened wide and I quickly looked to where the screams were coming from only to calm down slightly when I saw it was just the rest of the class screaming on the couches. Someone must have pressed some buttons on the remote and switched it to a horror movie.
I walked over to the frightened children and took the remote from them before switching it to some fluffy kid movie. The aura around the room calmed down a bit, but there was still some tenseness in the air, as well as some sadness. Tiny Ponytail and Four-eyes started to calm down the others while I turned to where I left Eimi, Shoto, and Deku.
They were all still there but the tears were dry and they were looking concerned. Well, Eimi was looking concerned while Deku and Shoto were surprised. I sighed and rolled my eyes before crouching down in front of them. Deku's grip tightened on Eimi's shirt while I reached out to him. He closed his eyes, ready for something else but I just pat his head. His eyes opened before his eyebrows furrowed.
"K-kacchan?" He studdered out and I said nothing.
Looking back on how I used to act towards him when he was this age, I was so dumb. When he was announced quirkless, it was the same time Eimi had to go away. So instead of staying with my other close friend, I took his quirklessness and made it the reason I acted so rough. But in all honesty, I was just hurting inside. I regret how I used to act towards him since I've been reunited with Eimi and she opened my eyes to how I used to act. Don't get me wrong, I still have what everyone calls a 'problematic angry attitude' but it has mellowed out a bit.
"Sorry, Deku. Ah, I guess Izuku, I'm sorry." I mumbled and I saw Eimi smile at me. My face didn't change and Deku's tears came back rolling down his cheeks. His hands found their way at his eyes and he started to rub them while he cried. I reached out and Eimi let go of his frame before I picked him up, giving him a slight hug. He quickly hugged back and I sighed, a small smile making its way onto my face.
Eimi stood up and picked up Shoto in her hands before we both heard a knock on the door.
"It's probably the food. I'll be right back, I need to get the money." I said before walking off with Deku still in my arms.
Eimi's POV
I watched as Katsuki walked away with Izuku still in his arms. I'm happy that he's trying to be better towards him. He might not be that nice with him still when he's normal but it's much better than what it used to be. He explained to me that the reason he was so rude to him is that he didn't know what to do with himself after I left. And just today did I find out how much it affected him at his young age. I shook my head and made my way over to the front doors while I still had Shoto in my arms. It felt nice to hold him in my arms for once, usually, it's the other way around, and mainly when I'm crying.
I opened the door and was greeted by a man in I'd say around his early 20s.
"Hello, order for Bakugo?" He asked and I nodded my head.
"Yep! I appreciate you making it to UA, I might have thought you weren't going to be able to get in." I commented and the man chuckled.
"It was a bit different but yeah, I was granted entrance to enter then leave right away." He said while handing me the food. I reached out and took it before placing it beside the opened door on the inside of the building. I stood back up and fixed Shoto on my hip and smiled.
"Sorry, my boyfriend is getting the money right now." I apologized and the man waved his hand slightly.
"It's alright, I don't mind." He replied before pausing slightly. I tilted my head before he spoke up again. "I saw you guys at the sports festival and I was wondering why Todoroki is so small."
I laughed slightly while patting Shoto's head. He looked surprised that some stranger knew his name and I couldn't blame him, it sure took a bit to get used to when it first happened to us.
"The whole class got hit with some quirk that turned them into 5-year-olds. The only one not affected was me, though my boyfriend changed back sooner than I was told." I explained and he nodded.
"So some of Class 1-A are in relationships with others in the class? Who are you dating then-?" He started but was cut off by Katsuki showing up with money and Izuku in his arms still. I guess he didn't realize that if the order was for Bakugo, that it was him who was my boyfriend.
"I included a decent tip because UA is a bitch to get in if you ain't a student or staff member." He said and the man's eyes almost popped out of his head. I could only assume that he didn't expect Katsuki, out of everyone, to be my boyfriend. Considering how he acted at the sports festival. He certainly left an impact on everyone with his yelling.
"O-oh, thank you very much." He stammered while taking the money. He looked to see Izuku in his hands and his eyes widened even more. Yeah, I totally get why he is so surprised. Katsuki is definitely seen differently than how he really is.
He bowed before taking his leave and walking down the long path back to the gates of UA. I turned back to look at Katsuki and smiled.
"He was nice." I said and Katsuki looked at me skeptically.
"Why was he acting like that?" He asked as he shut the door and I picked up the food before getting Shoto to help me hold it. We walked over to the table to set the food down while I giggled slightly.
"He was just surprised that we're dating, considering how everyone who watched the sports festival sees you."
Katsuki then grumbled before setting Izuku down in one of the chairs at the table. I copied him with Shoto and pushed him in. I then reached out and grabbed Katsuki's face before giving him a small kiss and smiling.
"It's fine though, I wouldn't trade you for the world!" I exclaimed and he pursed his lips in a pout. I only laughed at him before turning to get the kid's attention.
"Dinners here everyone! Come sit at the table now!" I called out before a storm of little classmates came running over.
Dadzawa's POV
It was a long day today, I just hope that Eimi isn't dead from having to deal with the whole class as 5-year-olds. I opened the front doors to the dorms and hoped that it wouldn't be a mess, and to my surprise, everything was clean. I shut the door and took my shoes off before looking around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary and there was no screaming in the distance or anything.
"Did she even make it back to the dorms? Should I have checked the school first?" I asked myself when I heard a groan coming from the living area. I walked over and looked around before my eyes widened.
Everyone was there, but to my surprise, Bakugo was back to normal while no one else was.
Bakugo was sleeping on his back while Eimi was snuggled into his side and under his arm while holding Shoto tightly against her. Midoriya was laying on his back sprawled across Bakugo's chest. Sero, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Mina were basically on top of each other in a pile all sound asleep. Jiro, Yaoyorozu, Asui, Uraraka, and Hagakure were all sleeping with their hands connected. Sato, Kouda, Tokoyami, and Ojiro were all sleeping beside each other like logs. Aoyama was sleeping on the couch with a blanket pulled up to his nose with a small nightcap on his head and Shoji was sleeping with his arms wrapped around himself like a ball beside the girls. It was then that I realized he was there so that Mineta wasn't by the girls because he was on the other side of Shoji. And I almost didn't see Iida from how he was laying right behind Eimi with his glasses beside him.
I pulled my phone out and took a picture of all of them. Mic and Midnight would probably kill me if I told them how I found them without taking a picture.
From what I can guess, I think the day went well.
