Dragon's Never Forget A Scent
Third Person POV
"Mikaaaaaa," A female voice whined throughout the hall. "I do have to?"
"I'm afraid you do, Princess Eimi." The attendant named Mika called out to her from down the hall. The short red and white-haired girl slouched against the wall before sliding down. Her attendant sighed while walking over to her and standing over her slumped figure.
"This is only going to be longer if you don't get up and just do it."
The girl reluctantly stood up and took the hand of her attendant. She looked down before straightening out her dress and facing forward.
"I don't see the point of these, I'm not going to marry anyone I don't know."
Mika only nodded in understanding before leading the princess down the hall and into the room her father requested she meet him in. The two made their way down the hall, although one not wanting to. Mika reached up his hand and softly knocked on the door before clearing his throat.
"I've brought Princess Eimi, your highness." He called out through the door.
"Send her in then." A strong deep and demanding voice echoed through the area. The princess gulped before walking through the door with her attendant following behind her.
She faced her father after bowing.
"Father." She stated. "You requested my presence."
"Yes, I believe it would be easier to get you here than your brother."
Her brother, Shoto Todoroki. The youngest Prince and the one who would be taking over the Kingdom once their father either passes or hands over the throne. This was the reason why her father set up so many marriage proposals for her. He wants for her to have her own place because it's not likely that her brother would be going anywhere or handing over the throne.
"You are correct in your assumption, father."
"Anyway. We have some business to attend to. Follow me outside, there is someone I want you to meet." King Enji, better known as Endeavor, stated and stood up before walking out the door on the other side of the room. Princess Eimi nodded before following her father outside.
When she made it outside, there was a carriage attached to two white horses and a young man standing in front of it. She walked over and stood slightly behind her father.
"Eimi, this is Prince Jacob from the neighboring country to the East."
The Prince bowed while taking her hand in his and planting a kiss to the top of it.
"It's a pleasure." He said while standing back up and showing a small smile. Eimi stood straight up, a little bit flustered by the interaction.
"Oh, the pleasures all mine." She stammered back before curtsying.
"Shall we go?" Prince Jacob offered while motioning towards the door of the carriage.
Eimi stood there with a confused look on her face. She looked back at her father and tilted her head before questioning.
"Father?" She asked while the King put a hand on her shoulder.
"You are spending the day with him in order to get to know him before you deny the proposal."
Before she was about to interject in the matter, her father gave her the stare and she slightly lowered her head.
"Yes, Father." She obeyed and looked towards the Prince. He held out his hand to help her into the carriage and she slowly placed her hand in his. The Prince helped her in the carriage before bowing to her father and getting in himself. The King nodded and watched as the carriage drove down the entranceway and out of the grand front gates.
Eimi's POV
I looked out the window as the carriage left the safety of my home and down the long winding road. Prince Jacob cleared his throat which caused me to turn my head towards him. When my eyes landed on his figure, he was sitting cross-legged and leaning close towards me, a little too close. I sat up straight and pushed myself into the back of the seat before asking him what he was doing.
"I've heard that you deny everybody who wants your hand in marriage." He stated. My eyes slightly widened before I spoke with a stern tone.
"I'm not going to marry someone I don't know or love."
"We'll see about that." The Prince said with a smirk before my vision started to get blurry.
"Just what did- what did you do to me?" I muttered while trying to activate my ice side to cool me down.
"Just relax and it will be over soon."
I felt two hands rest on my thighs and I shoved them off before darkness consumed me.
Shoto's POV
I rode my horse into the stables and easily jumped off before handing the leads to the stable boy.
"Give her some extra sugar cubes, she did very well today." I told him and he nodded before walking my horse to her stable labeled 'Sapphire'.
Eimi gave her that name, as well as her horse's name which is Ruby. I didn't like it at first, but the name grew on me. Speaking of Eimi, I told her we were going to practice our quirks with each other today. I walked into the castle and made my way to her room, which I know she would be in because she doesn't like going around the castle without me, and I don't blame her. The only other reason she would leave her room is if her attendant Mika was with her.
I knocked on her door before entering and looking around. Normally she would be sitting on her bed with a book in her hands or sitting at her desk and drawing away, but this time, she wasn't there.
"Maybe she's in the bathroom?" I muttered out before walking to her bathroom and knocking on the door.
"Eimi, are you in there?" I asked and waited for a response.
"Eimi?"
It was then that I heard her bedroom door open and Mika walk in.
"Mika, have you seen Eimi?" I asked as I made my way over to him. Mika looked slightly down at me before clearing his throat.
"Yes, she is going to be gone for the day."
"What do you mean? We were supposed to be practicing our quirks with each other." I recalled while crossing my arms.
"I do believe that was the case but your father set up a marriage proposal and a day meeting in hopes she wouldn't deny another prince."
I blinked a couple of times before regaining my thoughts.
"But Father knows she won't accept."
"I know. She should be back by nightfall. Good day, Prince Shoto." Mika bowed and left the room which left me standing there alone, again.
I should just wait for her return and we can practice tomorrow. Maybe I'll go into town and get her something from the Midoriya bakery. She always loved their pastries.
Third Person POV
A little girl was running through the forest while laughing. She was having a great time and absolutely loved all the flowers and trees that encased her. She ran until she reached a small pond with beautiful willow trees that overhung the water.
Lilypads floated in the greeny-blue water as tiny little fish swam around. Frogs and toads croaked and hoped from lilypad to lilypad before splashing into the water below.
"Ahh! This is so pretty!" The little girl exclaimed while running up to the water and taking a closer look. While peering into the water and watching all the little fishes, something strange caught her eye. She looked closer and found it to be an egg of some sort.
She reached her tiny arm into the water in hope of reaching the egg and to her surprise, she was able to reach it. But there was one problem. The view through the water tricked her eyes and this egg was not like the small eggs she was used to seeing when she and her mother would go out to the chicken coops in the morning.
The girl didn't want to get her pretty pastel purple dress dirty while she adventured in the woods, but this was something she couldn't ignore. It was a huge egg with some sort of red and orange design on it, and she wanted to see it better. She hiked up the bottom of her dress the best she could before taking her flats off and stepping into the water.
The water sent a shiver down her spine but she carried on anyway. She reached down with both her arms and soon found out that hiking up her dress wasn't going to help it from touching the water as she basically just pressed her whole abdomen into the water just to reach this egg. The small girl huffed as she pulled the egg from its sunken spot in the wet soil. Her eyes widened as this was the first time she could properly see this mysterious egg.
She was correct in the fact that it had some sort of red and orange design on it, but she didn't know that it was this beautiful. The red part of the design flared over the majority of the cream coloured egg in these huge swirls that looked like flames. The orange part added so much more to the egg as well. All the orange parts were shapes that looked like fireworks or explosions in her mind and sat in the inner swirls of the red flames. There were also little lines that she thought were cracks but soon discovered were actually part of the design as well. They were dark red and shot up in jagged directions.
"I've never seen anything like this before." The little girl gasped as she continued to stare at it. She then realized that she was still standing in the pond and carefully placed the egg down on a patch of reeds before crawling out of the water herself.
She stared down at her dress and sighed as it was all wet except for the back. She shook it off and decided that getting this egg out of the water was much more important than the dress she was wearing. What if it were to drown in there? She couldn't possibly let that happen.
She reached down and grabbed the egg once again, only to stumble as it was much heavier out of the water. It didn't matter much to her cause she was a strong girl. Her mother, sister, and brothers all said so, so it must be true, right? She continued to carry this beautiful egg until she decided that she was far enough away from the water that the egg had no chance of ending up in there again.
The most logical explanation the tiny girl could think of when finding the egg in the water was that it must have rolled away from it's mother. Though she didn't know what creature it belonged to. Maybe it was some huge fire chicken.
It didn't take long for the girl to get attached to the egg she found and she declared that she would take care of it until it hatched, and then also when it was out of its shell. She built a small nest out of leaves and branches before placing the egg down carefully.
"I'm gonna be your new mama, okay little egg? No matter what you are, I'm gonna love you till the end of time! And I swear on my life as a princess." The girl called out to the egg, making it known that she wouldn't abandon it. Her eyes lit up when the egg moved slightly back and forth and she squealed.
"It heard me! It heard me!" She exclaimed before lightly hugging the outer shell of the egg.
A little boy watched as the girl hugged the egg that was calling to him. He was told by his mother, as well as the other adults in his village, that once he was around the age of 6 and after he got his quirk, a voice would call out to him. This voice was of his future lifelong partner, someone that he was to protect with his life and they would do the same for him. In other words, this voice was something he had been expecting to hear for his whole life, or as long as he could remember.
But he wasn't expecting to see a little girl with red hair hugging the egg that was calling to him. He stayed behind a tree as his eyes watched the girl interact with the egg and how much her eyes sparkled when it would move. By how much it was moving, the boy could tell that it was going to be soon that it would hatch. The other rule of the voice was that it would only call out to him once it was almost its time to hatch.
The boy couldn't stand there in silence any longer and made his way out from the trees that were protecting him. His small red cape flapped behind him as the slight breeze moved his ash-blonde hair around his face. He opened his mouth to say something when a leaf or something flew into his mouth and he started coughing.
The girl quickly looked over and started to panic at the sight of the boy choking. She ran over to him and moved his cape to the side while standing behind him. Her arms reached around his belly and rested in the form of a fist just under his ribcage. She then picked him up slightly before squeezing him in small intervals until he stopped choking.
When the boy stopped and started to take deep breaths, the little girl crouched down beside him and rubbed his back.
"Are you okay?" She asked with a worried tone and the boy looked at her only for his eyes to widen at what he saw. From his spot behind the tree, he only thought the girl had red hair, but to his surprise, it was split straight down the middle, with the other half being white. Her eyes were also different colours, and by god were they ever pretty. The boy couldn't stop staring at them.
"Hello?" The girl asked again while waving her hand in front of his face. The boy's eyes widened before he fell back. The girl panicked again but stopped as the boy sat up right after he fell. He looked around before his eyes landed on the egg. The girl looked to where his gaze was directed at and she smiled.
"Wanna see the egg that I found? It was in the water and it's super pretty!" She jumped up before running over to the egg. Once there she picked it up with a huff and held it up to the light so that the designs were more visible. The boy's eyes widened as he looked at it. It was just as his mother said, the egg would have something that signified the boy's quirk on it. The orange explosions only proved it further that the egg was meant for him.
"I'm going to be this eggs new mama! Since it looked so lonely and sad in the water before. I could only imagine how it must have felt when getting separated from its real mama." The girl rambled on and the boy only got a sad look in his eyes. He didn't want to separate the girl from the egg, but he had to. It was his dragon after all.
"Ummm," The boy called out which got the girl's attention, as it was the first time he has made any sound apart from choking. "That's my dragon egg." He said.
The girl whipped her head over in his direction and held tightly onto the egg.
"This egg is yours?" She asked, completely ignoring the fact that the boy said it was a dragon egg.
"Yeah. When the people in my village are around the age of 6 and after they get their quirk, a voice calls out to them." He started to explain so the girl sat down with the egg in her lap.
"What do you mean, 'a voice'?"
"You see, I come from a town of dragon tamers--" The boy said only to stop himself quickly because he forgot that dragon tamers aren't necessarily smiled upon. Though only because not many understand them and their culture.
"Dragon tamers?!" The girl gasped and the boy flipped his cape over his head, trying to hide that he was even there. The girl placed the egg down beside her before crawling over to the boy. She grabbed the end of his cape and lifted it up to see his face. His eyes widen before he hid his face in his hands.
"You guys are real?" She excitedly asked which caused the boy to lift his head.
"Ye-yeah?" He stuttered and the girl squealed before hugging the mysterious boy.
"That's so cool! Can you tell me more? Like how do you know that this is a dragon egg? And how do you know it's yours? And where to find it?" She started firing questions at him left and right.
The boy sat down beside her and started to explain the feeling, although he didn't know it that well since he recently started out on his journey, but he did his best. And apparently, his best was more than good enough because the girl beside him was absolutely ecstatic.
"So your quirk has something to do with fireworks?" The girl asked while holding the egg.
The boy laughed slightly before holding out his hand.
"Not quite." He said while letting some explosions go off in his hand. The girl's eyes lit up and she watched in amazement.
"Wow! Your quirk is so cool!"
The boy nodded before looking at the girl a little more. The red and white of her hair caused him to question what her quirk must be.
"What's your quirk?" He asked and the girl handed him the egg before holding out both of her hands. The boy watched silently as flames appeared in her right hand and ice in her left. Little to say, he was speechless. He didn't think anybody could have two quirks.
"You have two quirks?" He muttered and the girl shook her head.
"No. You know how sometimes kids get a mix of their mama and papa's quirks?"
The boy nodded.
"Well, that's what happened for me! My mama has ice powers and my papa has fire powers, and BAM!" The girl slapped her hands together. "Here I am!"
"I see! That's kinda what it was like for my quirk too. My mom sweats nitroglycerine and my dad can heat his palms to make explosions. And I sweat nitroglycerine and can make it explode."
"So cool!" The girl exclaimed while reaching for the egg again. The boy handed it over before putting his hands in his lap.
"Would I be able to stay with you until the egg hatches? I've never seen a dragon before."
The boy looked up at the sky before looking back at the girl.
"It shouldn't be too long until it hatches, so sure!" He called out with a smile.
"Oh, I forgot to say but my name's Eimi! What's yours?" The girl known as Eimi asked the ash-blonde boy.
"The names Katsuki Bakugo!" He said proudly which caused the girl to giggle.
"Can I call you Suki? It's shorter and easier to remember." She asked and the boy blushed before nodding his head.
The two waited with each other while playing games and telling stories. All the while this was happening, the castle was frantically searching for its youngest princess.
"Have you found her yet?" The king stomped into the room where guards were resting.
"No- we have yet to locate her in the woods--" A soldier was cut off by the kings yelling.
"Then why are you sitting here! Find her at once!" He yelled which caused the many soldiers to gather their things and run out the doors. A little boy with split red and white hair grabbed onto his father's pants. The king looked down at his youngest son with a slight scowl, nothing the boy wasn't used to though.
"Where's Eimi?" He asked. The king put his hand on his son's head before leading him out of the room.
"She's playing hide and seek with the guards. It shouldn't be much longer." The king lied to make sure his youngest wouldn't go on a rampage like he has in the past when he was told that no one knew of Eimi's whereabouts.
The girl in question was having a lovely time with her newfound friend. It was almost sundown when the two stopped in their game of tag when they heard the sound of something cracking. The two rushed over to the egg to see that it was indeed starting to hatch. Eimi was jumping around in her spot as Katsuki was watching carefully.
With every new crack, the children's eyes widened in anticipation. And just as the last crack happened, the shell of the egg split open to reveal a small black-haired child. Eimi's head tilted to the side and fell to a sitting position.
"It's a little boy?" She asked, confusion plastered all over her face.
"Shhhh, just wait," Katsuki whispered and the two watched as the little boy in the egg looked up at them. It was said that as soon as a dragon makes eye contact with its rider that it will go through a transformation with its hair colour and then turn into its dragon form. Usually the dragon's hair will correspond with its rider's hair colour so that others know it belongs to them.
Though Katsuki's eyes widened as he watched the little boy's black hair turn a crimson red.
"Look! His hair turned red!" Eimi exclaimed which caused Katsuki to look at her and then back at his dragon. He forgot an important detail when finding the dragon egg. Even though the dragon is indefinitely his, the first person to touch the egg will be the one who the dragon is more like. And his case, Eimi was the one who touched it first.
Though Katsuki doesn't mind that the dragon will be like Eimi. She was super nice and kind from how he has seen her so far and from her stories.
"Suki look!" Her voice caught his attention as he looked back at the boy, only for his eyes to widen as he watched the amazing sight before him. The now red-haired boy was transforming into his dragon form. The two children watched in awe as the boy grew wings, and his feet turn into scaly claws. It didn't take long for a tiny red dragon to be sitting in front of them.
His tail wagged back and forth before it pounced onto Katsuki and started to lick his face.
"He's like a puppy!" Eimi called out before the dragon turned to look at her. His eye's widened at the sight of the girl before he jumped into her arms and started purring. The girl stopped in her tracks.
"Dragons can purr?" She asked with wide eyes.
"I guess they can." Katsuki responded while sitting up and wiping the slobber off his face.
Eimi sat down with the newly hatched dragon and started to pet his scales. Katsuki came and sat down beside her before reaching out and petting his dragon's wings and tail.
"What's his name gonna be?" Eimi asked while squishing the dragon's little face. The dragon playfully held his mouth open and nipped around at Eimi's hands before slightly licking them while continuing to purr.
"Eijiro. Eijiro Kirishima." Katsuki said without hesitation. He knew the dragon's name before it even hatched. It was one of the things the voice called out to him. Other than where it was roughly located.
"I'm gonna call him Eiji. It suits him and his cute little face!"
From then on the two children and their dragon kept meeting up every couple of days. The last day that Eimi could remember seeing them was when Eijiro lost his first fang. Katsuki made it into a necklace and gave it to her for her to keep. After all, Eijiro saw Eimi as his mother while Katsuki as his father, even though they were both only 6 years old. Plus there were many more to lose so Katsuki could easily make a matching one for himself.
The two laid down in their little hut they made together and fell asleep. Eimi fell asleep while holding Eijiro in his dragon form and Katsuki was sprawled out in the shape of a star. Now that Eijiro was the size of great dane, he easily covered the two of them with his wings. He faced Eimi while she held onto his neck and his arms and legs held onto her while covering her with one of his wings, and the other was draped over the rambunctious boy he called his father figure.
Eimi's POV
I heard the sounds of footsteps and tried to remember what happened. I opened my eyes to see that I was in a foreign room. There was a huge window in the center of one of the walls where red curtains hung over. There was a door that was shut on the wall next to the window and another one beside it. I then looked down to see I was laying on a bed that was covered in red sheets, the same shade as the curtains.
The bed had drapes weaved across the bed stands, and low and behold, they were also red. What's with this room and the colour red. I don't get it. I thought to myself as I heard the same footsteps from earlier, but this time they stopped at the other door. It soon opened to reveal the prince that my father set me up with.
"Well good afternoon, Princess." He smirked and I frantically looked around to see if there was a clock anywhere in the room. It was only supposed to be a day trip, where am I?
No consent touching, skip to the next bold if you get uncomfortable by it.
I heard a chuckle and turned to see the prince was standing right in front of me. I yelped and pushed myself back and away from him on the bed. Though that only seemed to fuel his attitude as he made his way over to where I was trying to get away from him. He grabbed my arm and I tried to use my quirk on him but it didn't work.
"I can tell by that look on your face that you tried to use your quirk." He smirked and my whole body shivered. "Well, too bad. I had the maids use a sedative that cancels quirks for 24 hours. So you're straight out of luck."
"W-why are you d-doing this..." I stammered as I tried to yank my arm free from his grasp, only to get my other arm grabbed too. I looked up at him in fright to see a devilish smirk on his face.
"Isn't it obvious?" He paused which left me shaking in my spot under him. "To make you mine."
My eyes widened as I tried to move my arms again, only to fail and have my wrists ache. He straddled my hips and held my arms above my head with one of his hands while the other one went to behind my back. I heard as the zipper keeping my dress up was getting pulled down and I tried even harder to move my arms, but this guy had an iron grip and was no letting go anytime soon.
Tears welled up in my eyes as I kicked my feet, hoping that it would cause him to lose some sort of grip he had on me, but my actions were all in vain. There was no way I was going to get this bigger man off of me. He's even taller than Shoto which his height already intimidated me. But he's a big softy on the inside.
The prince pulled the outer layer of my dress off of me but had to move his legs in order to get it fully off. I took that chance and kneed him where the sun doesn't shine and his grip loosened a bit on my arms, so much so that I was able to pry them free. He fell over me in pain and I pushed him off as much as I could before wiggling out from under him. I kept tripping over my dress and just full-on ripped it so I could run more freely.
I definitely didn't want to be naked in front of his man. One, because he was clearly just trying to rape me, and two, I'm saving my body for the one I'm going to marry. Which is definitely not this man. I ripped the bottom of my underdress so that it was knee length and made a run for the door he entered through.
When I made it to the door and tried to open it, my heart dropped. It was locked. Locked from the outside and I didn't have the key. I then heard a dark chuckle come from the prince and I slowly turned to look at him.
"They told me you had an attitude, but they didn't tell me you were this feisty! This is going to be fun." He smirked once again and I tried running to the other door but a strong arm stopped me.
"You're not going anywhere." His voice rumbled in my ear and I stomped my heel on his foot. His balance fell and I pushed my way out of his arms.
"My father will figure out I'm not home and he will come after you!" I yelled while throwing anything I could pick up at the prince in front of me. Who was certainly not acting like a prince.
"I've sent a letter to him which said that after our day together you fell madly in love with me and decided to stay with me! No one will come for you!" He laughed while dodging the items I was throwing.
"Impossible! No one will believe you!" I yelled back at him. While I was stepping back I tripped over the carpet and fell back. His laughs became louder as I saw his figure looming over me. I tried to get away but he grabbed my arms and held them behind my back.
"No! Let me go!" I screamed and thrashed around. His hand once again held my two arms tightly as his other one was able to move freely. I felt his hand reach through the cloth of my underdress and past my bra.
"S-stop!" I tried to yell again but my voice cracked due to all my tears. His hand freely moved and grabbed around my breast as I cried. I continued to thrash around but nothing was working. My crying was making me dizzy and it was getting harder to breathe. I thought I was going to pass out when I heard a crashing sound.
Ayo, we back. Surprised with myself with that shit honestly.
"You fucking bastard!" Another voice called out and in an instant, the prince's body was thrown off of mine. I fell to the ground in sobs and tears and huddled into myself. I felt arms grab around me and I screamed. I kicked them before running to the other door that I didn't reach before. I reached it and opened it to find it was a bathroom. I quickly shut the door and locked it before crawling behind the bathtub.
I hid my head in my knees as I held my hands over the back of my head. I pulled at my hair and wept. Where is my brother when I need him? I cried into my ripped underdress as I heard the door rattle like someone was trying to get in. I curled into myself as much as I could in hopes that they would leave but only screamed as the door handle was melted.
I covered my eyes as I didn't want to see who it was but stopped as a big gust of warm air was blown over me. I shakily lifted my head and my eyes widened at was I saw.
"E-Eiji?" I stuttered out and the red dragon's head nodded. I reached up to him with tears in my eyes and he put his head on the ground. From what I could see it was only me and his head in the bathroom, and judging from the size of his head, he must be a very large dragon now. I reached my hands around the horns of his nose and carefully pulled myself onto his head.
I grabbed onto his snout as he slowly pulled his head out of the bathroom and into the room I never wanted to see again. I heard explosions and lifted my head to see a very familiar ash-blonde boy. Though he was no longer a boy anymore, but a man. I suddenly fell from Eiji's snout and into someone's arms. I looked up at their face to see it was a grown-up human Eiji. I held onto his shoulders as he kept his grip on me. I cried into his scarf thing and huddled close to him.
"I'm going out now!" A voice called out which I assume was Eiji's because of the vibrations coming from his throat.
"What the fuck are you still doing here! Get her out of here!" The same voice from before yelled out. I felt Eiji move and looked to see him stepping onto the windowsill and I screamed before he jumped out. I didn't get a good look at what it looked like outside before that man came in, but I knew it must have either been somewhere underground or up really high. And it must have been the latter because of all the light coming into the room.
I screamed as we fell from the window but soon stopped as we were suddenly in the air. I looked around to see that I was still in human Eiji's arms but that he had wings on his back as well as a tail.
"Half transformed?" I muttered out as my tears fell into my mouth before I spit them out.
"Yep! But I'll have to fully transform when Kat calls me back."
It finally clicked that the two of them must have been sent by my father to find me.
"D-did Father send you?" I asked as we flew higher into the sky so that no one would be able to stop us and possibly shoot us down.
"Actually no. We heard that a princess was abducted and Kat wanted to ignore it because it's not like he knew who it was, but then we came across a group of four who was searching for the said princess." Eiji said as he flew to a spot and just started to hover there.
"One was a witch with brown hair, another was a night with dark blue hair and glasses, a green-haired boy that Kat calls Deku, and another boy who looked like you but opposite."
My eyes widened at the descriptions of the ones who were trying to find me and I grabbed Eiji's face.
"Where are they!" I yelled and he shook his face from my hands.
"I don't know, but I knew where you were as soon as I picked up on your scent." Eiji explained. I looked up at him before I remembered that I was the first one to even touch his egg, so of course he would remember my scent after all these years.
"I want to see my brother and his friends." I said into his scarf and felt Eiji rub my arms slightly.
"We will once Kat finishes up with that bastard." He said and I remembered that we left the ash-blonde behind. All of a sudden Eiji started to drop and I held onto him as I screamed.
"What are you doing!" I yelled and I held on for dear life.
"Kat called!" I heard Eiji yell back but I continued to scream.
"This is how I die!"
Then, I was suddenly not being held by anyone and was just free-falling in the air. I thought my voice was going to break from the amount of screaming I was doing until I landed in someone's arms. I held onto them without looking and started to say a prayer.
"I thank all that is holy for keeping me safe and I swear to no longer steal Shoto's bacon from breakfast and blame it on the cook's forgetfulness."
"Chill out. You're okay now."
I looked up and came face to face with Suki. I buried my face into his chest as tears started to well up in my eyes again. I held onto him tightly as I felt his arms wrap securely around me. He rubbed my back in a soft manner and I curled into him.
When I did, I felt all the necklaces that he had and saw that were was a longer one that held only one tooth on it, and it didn't take me long to figure out hat it was Eiji's second fang he lost. This caused my to reach into my underdress and pull out the matching fang necklace from all those years ago.
"Hey, Ei! Go find Deku and the others."
I heard a rawr as a reply and wind crashed against me. I shivered and I think Suki felt it too because he unwrapped his cape from his neck and placed it on my shoulders.
"This should keep you warm." He said softly and I nodded while the fur at the top of the cape tickled my nose. I held tightly onto my fang necklace and looked at it.
"I'm sorry. If I could use my quirk, you wouldn't have to give me your cape." I apologized while pulling the cape tightly around myself.
"It's not your fault. Plus I'm already used to this."
I smiled and leaned into him, feeling the warmth from his body and smelling the sweet smell of caramel. I've missed this. We flew in a calming silence for a bit until Suki called out to me.
"Never knew you were a princess."
"Ah, sorry. I guess I just never said anything because I thought that it might ruin our friendship." I confessed and waited for his response.
"If anything were to ruin our friendship it would have been because I'm a dragon tamer."
I looked down at my hands and sighed. I wonder how long it's going to take Eiji to find Shoto.
Shoto's POV
"I wonder what made Kacchan's dragon fly off so quickly. Not even Kacchan was prepared for that kind of blast off, but I think it might have been because he was yelling at me." Izuku mumbled as we continued to walk through the forest while following the wheel and hoof marks of the carriage.
It's been a around an hour since our encounter with Bakugo the dragon tamer, and I was very much surprised to see that Izuku knew him. He didn't look very friendly or someone that Izuku would be friends with. Also, it wasn't very often that one crossed paths with a dragon tamer, it wasn't unheard of, but was still rare. I looked down at the path we were following and sighed.
I was riding Ruby at the moment because she would be able to pick up on Eimi's scent better than Sapphire would. I know horses aren't used for their noses but Ruby is almost like a dog when it come to finding Eimi, and I think it's like that because of how Eimi trained her when we first got them.
Eimi would often take Ruby out into the field beside the woods near the castle and play hide and seek with her. Like you would practice with your dog. Make them stay in one spot, making sure they can't see which direction you went and then hiding before calling for them to find you. Due to that kind of growing up, Ruby has basically become a big dog that you can ride on.
"Look! There appears to be a fork in the road up ahead and the tracks go both ways." Iida called out to us as we looked ahead. I patted Ruby's head and she took that as a go to lean down and smell the tracks.
"What is she doing, Todoroki?" Uraraka called out from behind me.
"She's smelling to see which path Eimi went on." I responded.
"Horses can do that?" She asked again.
"Well, not all horses. Ruby was trained by Eimi--" I was explaining but was cut off by Ruby standing on her hind legs a bit, which almost caused me to fall off but I luckily caught the ranes. I was about to question why she would do that but stopped when we heard a loud rawr coming from above.
Izuku frantically pointed up while calling out to all of us.
"Look! It's Kacchan's dragon!"
Fortunately the fork in the road was due to a huge rock being in the way, so Bakugo's dragon had a place to land safely and not get stuck in the trees. Though it made me wonder how Bakugo went around unoticed and where he even slept because I heard that dragon tamers never leave their dragons side, no matter what.
The moody ash-blonde teen slid down his dragon's wing and landed on the ground beside our group. The only thing different from our first encounter was that he didn't have his big red cape on anymore.
"Wow, I've been gone for, what, an hour? and this is how far you guys have gotten? Pathetic." He scoffed while crossing his arms.
"That's not very nice to say Suki! After all, they don't have a dragon like you." A female voice called out and I recognized it right away as my sisters.
"Hey, how do you even get down from here?!" She sorta panicked and I was about to tell her to slide down and I would catch her but then the dragon disappeared out of no where. Which left Eimi in the air along with another boy. She clutched onto the boy and yelled.
"Eiji, why would you do this!"
Eiji? Suki? Just what are these nicknames, and why does she sound like she knows them?
"Kirishima??" Izuku called out, flabbergasted. I turned to him with a surprised look.
"You know him?" I asked and Izuku frantically nodded.
"He was always with Kacchan and I knew Kacchan was a dragon tamer but I didn't think that Kirishima was his dragon!"
I watched as this Kirishima boy placed Eimi down on the ground and she smiled at me. It was then that I noticed that she was wearing Bakugo's red cape and under that was her underdress, but ripped to around her knees. I walked over to her and placed my hand on her head in a loving matter.
"Just what happened to you. You look like a mess." I asked and her eye clouded over. She looked down before whispering.
"I don't want to talk about it."
I looked over to Bakugo to see him crossing his arms and mumbling profanities.
"Do you know this Bakugo?" I asked, trying to change the mood. Her eyes lit up before running over to him and jumping on his back.
"You mean Suki?" She smiled, taking a complete 180 from how she was acting before.
I nodded while Izuku physically fell over from how she pounced onto his childhood friend.
"Get offa me, dammit!" He yelled while trying to grab her arms to pull her off but she just held on tighter while shaking her head.
"Kat, just let her be." Kirishima walked over and a small smile. Eimi's eyes trailed over to the dragon shifter (I guess that's what he is) before she smiled widely at him. She kicked herself off of Bakugo before running over and giving Kirishima a hug. Her arms wrapped around his torso and her head rest on his chest.
"Why can't you go back to being small." She mumbled and I almost didn't hear her.
"Ah, sorry! Blame Kat if you want. He was the one who fed me so much."
"Huuuh?! Don't go blaming me for all the food you 'needed' to eat. You didn't need half of that shit, you dumb dragon shithead." Bakugo yelled out while letting off explosions from his hands.
"Wow, what a father." Eimi smiled before pulling Kirishima down to ruffle his hair.
"We should probably head back now. The kingdom is still missing their princess." Iida said while fixing his glasses. Uraraka fell to the ground and complained.
"So much walking! My feet are going to die."
Eimi's head whiped over in her direction before getting a gleam in her eye.
"Hey, Suki--" She started but was cut off immediately.
"No way in hell." He said with a straight face so she turned to Kirishima.
"Hey, Eiji--" she was cut off again.
"Don't go to my dragon after I said no!" He barked and Kirishima put his hand on Eimi shoulder before smiling sweetly at her.
"Of course! Though, are you sure the horse will be okay?"
"Well duh, don't you recognize her? It's Ruby." Eimi said her horses name and she turned her head to look over. Kirishima looked at the horse before his eyes widened.
"You're right, it is!"
Bakugo walked up to Ruby before brushing his fingers through her mane.
"Just how do you know these guys?" I questioned before Kirishima smiled at me.
"I guess you can say that Kat is my dad and Eimi is my mom."
"I want you to go back to being puppy sized!" Eimi whined and we all just looked at her.
"What?" Uraraka, Iida, Izuku and I all said at the same time.
"I'll kill yah for that you damned moron!" Bakugo yelled before charging towards Eimi and Kirishima. Though I'm pretty sure it was more aimed at Kirishima.
Just then Kirishima transformed into his dragon form and deflected Bakugo with his wing and sent him flying off in the distance. He transformed back but still had wings and a tail, although a smaller version of them.
"That should keep him for about 10 minutes. We better start heading back before we all die."
Without another thing said he transformed back into a full dragon and laid his wing out for us to climb onto. He grabbed Ruby in his huge claws and took off the ground.
"You fucking bitch!" We heard bakugo's voice in the distance followed by explosions.
A/N. Wow! 7640 words in this chapter, this is the longest chapter I have ever written for anything. My favourite part I wrote was when little Eimi found Kiri's egg and that whole interaction. Hope you enjoyed and I'm sorry for my lack of update on the Original Shoto's Twin Sister, I've been busy with school and wasn't able to do a lot because I had to study for my learners.
Yeah I'm 18 and only just got my learners while my twin has had his drivers for two years, leave me alone. :P
