My weekend is full of CHANBAEK. I cannot ~ 💘 so its almost 2 am when I started writing this

After eating dinner with Sarang. Chanyeol pick up the little girl from the seat and took it in his arms while wearing a father like smile on his face. The little girl who seems to be sleepy, snuggle closer to the giant's wide shoulder, resting her head near its curve

"Are you sleepy Sarang?" The child just let out a puppy like groan and slowly closes her round eyes

"Youre so cute" Chanyeol mumbles and place a feather like kiss on the little girl's head and start walking towards the stairs

Little did he know. Baekhyun was standing near the kitchen entrance and felt a little jealous towards how Chanyeol gave affection to Sarang

When Chanyeol turn his heels to go up stairs he found his husband standing behind him with a long face

"Oh Baekhyun-ah youre hungry?" Instead of responding. Baekhyun just walk pass the taller and approach the fridge

"The foods are already in the table. I knew you will be hungry so I didnt bother placing it in there" Chanyeol said but he was still totally ignored by the midget

He sigh and just take a step to get near to Baekhyun and said "I'll just bring her in her room and we'll talk. Youre being five years old again" and then turn his back again leaving Baekhyun alone in the kitchen

When he's finally alone. Baekhyun bit his lower lip and groan "Why am I like this! Im hating a innocent kid! God what's happening to me"

He proceed to the dining table and tried finding his appetite but its no where to be find. Instead of wasting food. Baekhyun get up again and decided to go to the pool area. Because fresh air is what is need most right now

With his bare feet he step out of the house and sit beside the pool. Making his self comfortable on the ground. He look up and watch the dark royal blue skies decorated with blinking silver stars while he breath in some cold air

"Does he really need to adopt? Or is it really necessary for couples to have a child?" He mumbles while slowly building his own insecurities in him

"Doesnt mean I said that I dont like a child, I really mean it. Its just that Im just eighteen and I haven't prove anything yet. And...I really want a biological child"

As if he was talking to someone. Baekhyun take a deep sigh to brush the unbearable feelings in him

"Baekhyun" he was startled when he hears Chanyeol's voice who makes him instantly look over his shoulder

"Its very cold here why are you here and why didnt you touch the foods?"

"I want to be alone. And Im not hungry" Baekhyun replied

Not wanting to start an argument. Chanyeol just walk towards where Baekhyun is sitting and occupied the space on its right side

"Tell me. What's on your mind so that we can talk about it. I cant bear having arguments with you all the time. So spill it" Chanyeol look on his side and met the midget's sad eyes which quickly avert towards the front to avoid a longer eye contact

Baekhyun didnt speak for a few more seconds. So Chanyeol move his arm and wrapped it around the midget's cold body and pull it closer to him

"Your clothes are too thin for the weather babe. You dont want to get sick dont you" Chanyeol decided to turn the topic for a moment knowing Baekhyun is not yet willing to open up his thoughts to him

The midget look up and wait for Chanyeol to look down to him

"Chanyeol" Baekhyun calls with a low voice. Chanyeol finally look at him and hummed as response

"I dont want to have a child yet" Baekhyun straightforwardly says and bite his lower lip "lets just give Sarang back" he continue without knowing that Chanyeol is being annoyed by his words

"We can have child when Im ready or wh--"

"--Baekhyun no. We cant give her back. She's my daughter now and...and I already signed the adoption papers" Chanyeol try not to raise his voice to keep the conversation calm and not wanting to offend his husband

Pulling back from the embrace. Baekhyun's face draw anger "You can do anything about it Chanyeol. I know you can. I dont want a child so do anything because if not..."

"If not what? Youre divorcing me? Baekhyun cant you hear you self? Youre thinking like a kid right now. You not yet giving it a try, at least give Sarang a chance Baekhyun"

Hearing the word divorce was like a big slap on Baekhyun's face that force him to wake up from a deep sleep but then it never persuade him to accept the child

"But at least try to consider my feelings too! Im just eighteen. No teenagers wanted to have a child at this age"

"Im not obliging you to be a parent. I said Im her father and if you dont want her then dont. Im not getting any younger so I want to experience having a child"

Hurt like he got a multiple punch to his chest. Baekhyun became speechless and left dumbfounded with Chanyeol's backfires

The insecurities that was there in him started to grew like a fire being spit with a gasoline.

"So it means. That child is more important than me"

And though Chanyeol didnt said it. Baekhyun felt like he indirectly said to him that he wanted a family that Baekhyun cant give

Overwhelm by the feelings. Baekhyun did not say another word and just get up to leave his husband who was about to stop him but Baekhyun was quick to move and quickly return back inside to run up to their room

Chanyeol stay outside for a few more minutes before deciding to follow Baekhyun inside. When he arrive inside their room he didnt expect to hear the midget's sobs which causes his heart to pound hard for the midget is not a type of person who will cry over a thing unless he's really hurt or affected by it

Chanyeol take a big yet light steps to avoid being notice by Baekhyun. He successfully approach the other side of the bed where Baekhyun is back facing

Carefully. He lie down but quickly move closer to the sobbing midget. He circle his arm around its waist and move his body closer not leaving any space between them

Baekhyun hard to wiggle out from the contact but Chanyeol keep him in place and what makes the midget weaker is when Chanyeol started nipping his nape. And so he stop struggling and let the taller won

"I want to sleep so get off" Baekhyun's voice sounds funny because of the crying he did

And instead of doing what he was told. Chanyeol rather force his husband to turn to face him and finally make a better position with Baekhyun's head resting on his shoulder and his arms wrapped around its waist and back

"Im sorry" Though he's not sure why Baekhyun cried. Chanyeol apologized and place a tender kiss on the midget's forehead which he was surprise because Baekhyun started to cry again

The smaller burried his face closer to Chanyeol's neck and continue crying

"Why are you crying?"

"Im hurt" Baekhyun confessed as he lift his arm to hug the taller back

"That's why Im sorry" Chanyeol try to find the smaller's face but Baekhyun refused to show it

"Why is my heart aching like this Chanyeol! Why am I feeling afraid all of a sudden" clueless of what's the reason too. Chanyeol just stay silent and continue listening to Baekhyun to understand what's in its deep and not still innocent mind

"Tell me Chanyeol. Why cant I stop my heart beating so fast. It pains me. And why is that whenever I thinks the behind story of your words. I feel like you wanted to leave me"

Drawing the puzzled words of Baekhyun. Chanyeol wanted to slap his own face. He knew his chose the words to say

"If you ever regret marrying me instead of a girl. Tell me because I--"

"--fuck no! Dont say that Baekhyun!!" All of a sudden Chanyeol's hug became tighter "What are you talking about I never think of those things!"

"But you said you want to experience to be a parent. And I cant give you child so Im thinking m--"

"Okay enough of that. Erase that pollution in your mind because its not healthy" Chanyeol lift the midget's chin up and quickly capture its lips

When the night become deeper. Chanyeol and Baekhyun turn silent with only their breathing can be heard

Staring down the peaceful midget. Chanyeol get its attention by kissing it on the head

"What?"

"You know. Sarang is just three, she will turn four next month" Chanyeol started without minding if Baekhyun is interested about the little girl or not. What's important is Baekhyun must know about the little's girl background

"She grew up in an orphanage. Her dad died when she was still in her mom's womb. And her mom...she became mentally ill, so when she gave birth to Sarang she threw that lovely girl on the side walk which luckily some staff of the orphanage she grew up hear her cries and took care of her"

Chanyeol pause and find the midget wad anticipating on his story telling

"But how did you knew her? And why is she do close to you?"

"Because I donate to that orphanage. So once a week I visit there and the moment Sarang came in that place. I become curious about her. Until I found knew about her story. So since then, everytime I visit there I spent time with her until she knew me as her dad"

Chanyeol look down to Baekhyun again to see its reaction. But he chuckles when he saw the midget was already sleeping

"You really dont know how to listen" he laugh and kiss his husband a goodnight

"I heard you. Im just so sleepy, Im so proud of you babe. I feel bad for Sarang too"
