After done with the pre-season, Danny and the rest of West Ham players returned to London and that day is their last day of training before the season started. After done with the training, Danny went to have lunch with Isla.

"So, babe. How much are you looking forward for the new season?" asked Isla.

"Well, to be honest. I'm looking forward to this new season. Not only we had a better team this season, we even have our main rival in Premier League too this season", said Danny.

"Is it about your cousins and his newly promoted team?" asked Isla.

"That's true. Hariz's arrival managed to bring Millwall to the Premier League for the first time in the history while Xander and the rest of Millwall new signees making everybody to take Millwall seriously", said Danny.

"I see. So, do you think you can win against them?" asked Isla.

"It won't be fun if we already know it, right", said Danny.

"Yeah, right. To be honest, even I looking forward to Millwall. The combination between Hariz and Xander might bring the Premier League trophy to The Den in the debut of Millwall in the Premier League", said Isla.

"That's not impossible too. Uggh, I can't wait to face them in the pitch", said Danny.

"I know that very well. But I hope that match won't tear apart your relationship with them", said Isla.

"Yes. Besides, those 2 are like my own brothers after all", said Danny.

"I know. If not, you won't go to them after sulking from me before, right?" asked Isla.

"Yeah. And if not because of them, I might still sulking", said Danny. Isla just chuckled. Then, they both left the restaurant after finished their lunch.

That night;

Danny was packing up some of his stuff when he received a video call from Becky.

Danny: Hi, sis.

Becky: Hi, there. What are you doing, little brother?

Danny: Oh, nothing much. Just pack some stuff to bring with me tomorrow.

Becky: Oh, where are you going to tomorrow?

Danny: Watford, of course. The new season will begins in 2 days after all.

Becky: So, how did you feel about it?

Danny: Excited. Where are you by the way?

Becky: At the hotel of course. Going to be in a live tour later on.

Danny: Who will be your opponent?

Becky: Liv Morgan.

Danny: Oh, that cutie. Don't botch, please.

Becky: Don't get injured for you then.

Danny: Thanks for the reminder, sis. By the way, how's thing with Colby?

Becky: Great. What about you and Courtney?

Danny: So far so good. I had lunch with her too today.

Becky: That's great. By the way, I need to go now. Good luck for the match.

Becky: Thanks. I love you.

Danny: I love you too.

Then, they hung up.

2 days later;

West Ham United players arrived at Vicarage Road for the 1st season of 2019/2020. After changed into their training kits, all players makes their way to the pitch for warming up session. Later, all.players returned to the dressing room and changed into the match kits. Then, Pellegrini came in.

"Okay, boys. Let me reminds you the lineup for today. Fabianski (GK), Masuaku, Ogbonna, Diop, Frederick (DF) Noble, Rice, Felipe Anderson, Fornals, Yarmolenko (MF) Quinn (FW). Now then, go and take 3 points from this match", said Pellegrini.

"Yes, sir", said all players before left the dressing room.

Later on, all 1st eleven players marched to the pitch and make a line facing the main stand. Then, players and referees shake hand.

The match begins with Watford kicks off the match.

20th minutes of the game;

Noble with the ball. He then passes the ball to Felipe Anderson. Anderson then runs with the ball before passing it through to Danny. Danny then dribbled few Watford's players before shoots the ball into the net to give Hammers 1-0 leads.

30th minutes of the match;

Cleverley with the ball. He then passed it long and reaches Gray. Gray then dribbled in until he reaches the penalty box before shoots the ball to the net for the equaliser.

32nd minutes of the match;

West Ham was awarded a corner kick. Noble going to take it. When the referee blew his whistle, he crosses the ball towards the middle of penalty box. Felipe Anderson tries to head it but Foster managed to catch the ball.

Half time;

"1-1 huh. It's not really good against the team like Watford", said Noble.

"That's true. We had a better team though", said Danny.

"If we didn't do something quick, we're up to a not very good start", said Fabianski. Later, Pellegrini came in.

"Okay, boys. I expecting a better gameplay from every single of you. Please, wake up!" said Pellegrini. Then, he briefed about the tactical for the 2nd half.

Meanwhile;

Isla and the rest of the WWE NXT UK rosters are having a dinner at the hotel. Isla and Toni watched the match via livestreaming on Toni's I-Pad.

"Things not looking good for Danny", said Toni.

"Yes. He's much better in the last season to be honest", said Isla.

"Hope he will play better in the 2nd half", said Toni. Isla just nodded.

2nd half;

The match restarted with West Ham United kicked off the match.

55th minutes of the match;

West Ham was awarded a free kick 21-metre from the goal. After the referee blew his whistle, Danny kicks the ball with his curve shot. Forster jumped high to save his goal but failed as the ball make it into the net for West Ham to take the lead once more.

64th minutes of the match;

Watford was awarded a penalty kick after Gray was tackled inside the penalty box. Gray will take the kick himself. After the referee blew his whistle, Gray kicked the ball to the left side of the goal but Fabianski managed to catch the ball. Then, he quickly kicks the ball far and it reaches Danny. Without waiting much longer, Danny dashed towards Watford's goal as soon after he got the ball. Watford players tried to chase him but failed as he shoots the ball that passed through Foster and make it into the net to make it 3-1.

69th minutes of the match;

West Ham gets a corner kick. Noble kicked the ball to the middle before Danny jumped high and heads the ball into the net to make it 4-1 on the scoreline. Then, Pellegrini took Danny out and replace him with Ajeti.

The match ended with a final score 4-1.

"You're a savior today, Danny. If you're not around, we're totally doomed", said Felipe Anderson while they packed their stuff.

"C'mon, mate. I don't think it will be that bad", said Danny.

"No, mate. It's the truth. Seriously, we're need another good striker for the team to back you up until our young strikers are ready to play with the big boys", said Noble.

"Well, I heard we're on our way to sign Sebastian Haller", said Fornals.

"Yeah, but things still yet to be confirm. What do you think, Danny?" asked Lanzini.

"To be honest, I don't think we're really need a new striker. Let our Albian here plays with me as another striker and I'm sure we will be just fine. We're at the same age so, our level might be on par", said Danny.

"Don't bother about my job, boys. Just focus on yours", said Pellegrini that suddenly came in.

"Yes, sir", replied all players.

"Now, then. The bus had been waiting for us. Let's go then", said Pellegrini. Then, all of them walked to their team bus and left the stadium.
