Sumedh was very caring towards Mallika. He used to stand by her when she vomited, during her cramps,etc .He used to bear all her tantrums and now also he was with her, when she was going through labour pain.

Mallika:Ahhhhhh..... It's paining....

Sumedh:(a bit panicked) Don't worry Mikku, come I will take you to the hospital.

He carried her to the car and drove to the hospital and called out for the doctor. The doctor came and took Mallika inside the labour room. The hospital was filled with her cries and screams. Sumedh, who was outside the labour room, had tears in his eyes seeing his wife condition.

To divert his mind, he started to remember all the things that happened after the marriage till now. How Mallika used to show tantrums and how he used to bear it.

Flashback....

Mallika:Nhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Sumedh was in the kitchen making the breakfast for his wife, heard her scream and rushed into their room to find her looking into the mirror with tears in her eyes....

He ran towards her and asked in a panicked way.

Sumedh: kya hua Mallika? Cheekhi kyun? Kahin dard ho raha hein? Doctor ke pass jana hein? Kahin contractions ho rahe hein? Kya hua, kuch toh bolo.

Mallika:Sumedh.....
(She said and hugged him and started crying, after hiding her face in his chest)

He responded to the hug and asked again.

Sumedh:kya hua?

Mallika:wo... Mein... Mein moti ho gyi hoon na? Ab tum mujhse pyaar nhi karoge? Ab toh mein utni sundar bhi nhi hoon. Tum mujhse door nhi jaoge na?

He chuckled on her questions and she pouted angrily. He kissed her pout and her eyes grew wide.

Mallika:heyyy! 😗

Sumedh:(chuckling) don't worry I won't leave you. Mein apna promise poora karoonga aur humesha tumhare saath rahoonga. Ok?

Mallika:hmm
(She said while resting her forehead on his)

They stood there for a moment and then he took her in his lap and made their way towards the bed. He covered her with a blanket and said.

Sumedh:Tum so jao! Mein tumhare liye breakfast banake aata hoon. Theek hei?

(She nodded and he smiled and kissed her forehead and went downstairs closing the door)

His trance broke when the doctor called him with a smiling face.

Doctor: Congratulations Mr. Mudgalkar, apki wife ke baby girl hui hein.

His happiness knew no bounds and he rushed inside the labour room after saying thank you to the doctor.

He went inside to find out Mallika, sleeping. He took her fragile body in his arms and said "than you".

She opened her eyes and saw him. She smiled and asked him to look on the other side, with her eyes. He obeyed her, and looked on the other side... His eyes found the most adorable thing in the cradle, his daughter,.......their daughter.

He went towards her and saw him from top to bottom with teary eyes.
Her looks resembled with her parents. He took her in his arms and took her towards Mallika.

He kept his daughter on Mallika's chest and she opened the top three buttons of the hospital gown. The little girl started to quench her thirst . Sumedh was adoring them when the nurse came inside and asked him to the counter to fill the discharge papers. He followed her after taking a glance of his wife and daughter.

He filled the form and took them to their home, which is not only a home now but a heaven for him after his daughter's presence.
