Jess's P.O.V
The door squeaked opened. As I got the keys from the door and walked in my house I lived with my boyfriend Jason.
I heard weird noises coming from upstairs. 'Maybe I'm just day dreaming!' I calmed myself down. I put my purse down gently, not to make a noise. I walked upstairs my sneakers making a little squeaking noise, each step I take.

As soon as I got upstairs the moaning and grunting got louder. I walked closer to our room the noise getting louder. As soon as I was in front of the door " JASON!!" Yelled a females voice!'that's it!' Slammed open the door. I might have broke the hinges.

But I didn't care. In front of me was Jason on top of another girl both naked. Jason was all the way in her. " h-how could you!" I yelled my voice cracking. Tears streamed down my cheeks. They both looked at me. " w-wait it's not what it looks like!" Jason's smooth voice yelled. He got up. " oh I think it is what it looks like!" I yelled I ran out; downstairs. Picking my purse up on the way. I ran out and shut the door. I started running a random direction.
I could here Jason stop running after me.

I ended up in the park. People stared at me. I didn't care. I couldn't afford to care. My eyes were red and puffy. My cheeks had tear stains. After one year of dating, he would do this to me! I loved him! And this is was I get in return.
I looked down at my phone everyone didn't have space in there's house either they had a roommate or they had to live alone for some reason. I scrolled down and saw Shelby. I tapped on her icon.

A- hey..... I have a question this is important
S- yeah sure? What's wrong?! Ask away!
I smiled that she was concerned.
A- Jason well he..... He cheated on me
S- really! I'm gonna kick his butt!
She responded so quickly
A- I have no where to live and no one else can afford for me to live with them.... Can I live with you?!
S- yes you can! You don't have to get your stuff you can borrow my clothes and then we can buy you some!
Finally someone!
A- I'm in the local park please pick me up
S- on my way hang tight!
I relaxed in the spot I was in. Tears slowly started to role down my cheeks once more but more tamed.

I heard light footsteps coming closer. I opened my eyes to see the best sight of the day. Shelby was walking towards me. i got up and ran at her in full speed. i hugged her crying into her shoulder. she rubbed my back calming me down "thank you" i said quietly. "its alright he doesn't deserve you. come on lets get to my house and clean you up" her smooth voice calmed me a bit down.

Shelby let go of the hug and held my hand. i didn't think much of it. she walked me towards her car. once we were in she started to drive towards her house. My phone vibrated telling me i got i looked down at my phone to see Jason texted me. a single tear rolled down my already tear stained cheek. i swiped my phone and unlocked it. i looked at the message it said "i will find you Jess!" more tears rolled down my cheeks. "whats wrong Jess?" shelby said her voice full of concern. "J-jason texted me" i covered my mouth. "turn your phone off and just put it away, dont even care about what he says he cant do anything" shelby said. i nodded and turned my phone off and put it in the glove apartment.

We reached shelby's house soon enough. Shelby unlocked her door and let me in. her house was cute i could say "ok i'll be showing you were you'll be sleeping but first lets get you to have a shower when your done, there will be some pyjamas in a drawer try and find it like a Easter egg hunt!" shelby said, her voice cheerful as ever. i nodded and followed her to the bathroom it was upstairs. "heres the bathroom i'll be in my room once your done come to me" she said as she walked away and entered another room.

i walked in the bathroom locking the door behind me. i got undressed. i looked at myself in the mirror i turned around and looked at my back there i saw a huge scar. Jason made it when he got drunk and whipped me on the back with his belt. i closed my eyes preventing the tears. i walked away and walked into the shower, I fiddled with the water until I got the right temperature. It felt nice for the water to run down my back. I washed of my body. I washed my face.
I got out of the shower a towel wrapped my hair up. I opened a cabinet to all this kinds of undergarments and pyjamas. I took some pink shorts with black hearts on them. Then I took a pink shirt the had some black writing on the chest part. I didn't care what I looked liked. I got changed into those clothes. I looked into the sink mirror. My makeup was ruined. I washed off all of the makeup.

I walked out of the bathroom. 'If I remember correctly' I pointed a finger at a door 'that's Shelby's room' I walked up to it. I knocked on the door. I heard a faint 'come in' from the other side of the door. I opened the door to see shelby on her bed she was reading a book. " aww your so adorable!" Shelby squeaked. " thanks" I said quietly. " ok so my spare room soon to be yours is right next door to the right." She said putting attention back on the book " by the way we're going shopping tomorrow" her high pitched voice said.
I walked out of the room and into mine. I looked around it had white walls. It had a black fluffy carpet in the middle of the room, the bed was a queens sized bed in the far right corner, in the left corner was a  desk with a light and some art tools. Next to the door was a black wardrobe.
The room wasn't that big but I'm not picky it's just right for me. I walked towards to bed and fell right into it. It was fluffy and soft. Soon after I fell asleep......
