This my version of Rapunzel. I hope you enjoy!:)

Jack was a faerie. He lived in a cottage and tended to his garden. He especially loved his ripe, juicy strawberries.

One day, when he was coming home, he noticed that someone had taken some of his strawberries. He immediately became furious and vowed that he would make them pay.

The next day he hid in the bushes and waited. When the person came and tried to steal the strawberries, Jack attacked him. The man pleaded with Jack, saying that he was poor. Jack didn't believe him, but knew that this man could be taken advantage of. So he made a deal.

A few months later, Jack went to the man's house to collect what he was owed.

"I'm here to collect the child", Jack said.

" But it would break my wife's heart", the man said.

"Oh well", Jack said, and brushed past him. Jack grabbed the baby, made a glowing door appear, and stepped inside.

When Jack emerged, he was in a tower in the middle of a meadow full of flowers, and there was no way out except for creating a door. He set the child down in a bed in the corner and left to get supplies.

Rapunzel, now 16, grew more and more curious every minute. She longed to have an adventure, but Jack forbade it. To take her mind off being stuck in a tower, she sang.

One day, when Jack was visiting, Rapunzel developed feelings for him. They spent the rest of his visit gazing into each others eyes.

The next day, as Rapunzel was singing, a prince(who had been stuck just like her) happened to hear. He was so enticed that he came back the next day, and the next, while she and Jack were developing their relationship.
The prince finally decided that he had to see Rapunzel with his very own eyes. He calls out to her. No answer. He tries again. No answer. He finally decided to climb the tower. When he finally gets to the top, he sees Rapunzel and Jack kissing. He's so startled that he falls off the tower and lands in some roses. The thorns blind him. He cries out in despair. Rapunzel hears this and looks out the window. When she sees the poor, brokenhearted prince she asks," did you do that?"

"I believe you did", Jack replies.

"What do you mean?"asks Rapunzel.

" That prince was in love with you, and he just saw us kissing", replies Jack.

"So he's a stalker?"Rapunzel asks.

"Pretty much", Jack replies.

" What a creep", Rapunzel says.

"That's why you got me, to protect you from creeps like him", Jack said.

" I've been meaning to ask you something", Rapunzel says.

"What is it?"asks Jack.

" Can I go outside", Rapunzel asks.

"I suppose you're old enough", Jack replies.

While in the outside world, Rapunzel got reunited with her parents, and they told her the real story. That night, Rapunzel got an iron frying pan and waited for Jack. Then, when he got there, she hit him in the face with the frying pan. His face got all puffy.

"Why did you steal me from my parents?" Rapunzel yells, on the verge of tears.

Jack tries to speak but Rapunzel hits him with the frying pan. Repeatedly. And as Jack lay there dying, Rapunzel realized what she had done and rushed back home to tell her parents. When she got there, she told her parents everything. They listened intently. As she was finishing her story, a village boy showed up who looked exactly like Jack. She screamed and ran into her room.

After going through the shock, Rapunzel went back to talk to the boy, but he was gone. For the rest of her life, Rapunzel was very weary. But over time she got over it. She still had the dreadful nightmares and haunting visions, but not as bad as before.
