INTRO: This poem is inspired by the feeling of finishing exams.  A time where tension is in the air. It's even worse for the seniors because that's when the marks really do matter.  That doesn't  mean you shouldn't aim to do well, but that's what universities  and colleges  look at the most. So I was studying like mad but now I feel, I feel... well just read the poem to find out! Enjoy!

How my heart sings with joy and happiness!

I'm now free.

No longer in fear,

No longer in bondage,

But free to be me.

I shall dance with victory,

My feet light with each bound.

I wave my arms with passion,

As I listen to the heavenly sound.

My head clears like dust on the field,

My burden is lifted from my shoulders,

Now they heal,

Deep wounds and ugly scars.

My brown eyes delights,

Warm as the sun.

My crack lips now soft,

A new era has begun

There were times I wanted to surrender,

Lift the white flag  with shaken fingers. 

My heart would race, you see,

My mind black as the sheet before me.

I tried over and over,

Wishing my trial will be done. 

I lowered my head in defeat,

Staring at that blank sheet.

So I sat there,

The clock ticking away.

Wishing that the floor would open,

Taking me away.

At when all seems lost,

To the mountain,

An army of knowledge would  storm in.

Their voices thunders, "we will win!"

My strength  is revived,

Replemished,

I let out a blissful sigh.

And fight the enemy. 

I strike the paper with my sharpest pen,

Smearing his face with blood.

He lash out his own sword,

But I steal his and thrust it in his bod.

I tricked him with his own game,

Yes let the victory be mine,

And to those who declare in "his name "

The victory for God, men and country. 

So I shall drop into my chair,

Wipe the sweat off my brow,

And dispose my enemy  into the hands of their king.

And say,

Lest this be an example for thou.

Authors Note

I'm back!
Woohoo! Exams are over! Now I am free to do anything I want!

Well until Monday, then I semester2 starts and there is a teacher I have I am Not  excited to see.

But regardless.  I am free!

So yeah that's the poem for today.
If you read torn apart you would know how happy I am now to write on Wattpad again.  How I miss you guys!

So you guys like  poems a lot, we got 61 reads! How amazing is that?
