Emma: This can't be happening!!!!

Trevor: What's wrong?

Emma: The hurricane!!

Trevor: Emma, you have to get a hold of yourself! You can't stop a hurricane from coming! And, right now, Henri is still a tropical storm! It hasn't reached hurricane status, yet!

Emma: I'm so scared! Are we gonna die?

Richard: Emma, no!! From what I know, Henri will weaken back to a tropical storm, once it makes landfall here in Southern New England!

Emma: Losing power for days, and flooded streets!!! I can't take it!!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT!!!!!

Me: Emma, I am just as nervous as you are, but I am trying not to panic!

Matilda: Damien's right, Emma! Panicking over something you have no control over, isn't gonna help! All you can do is prepare!

Emma: *moaning in fear*

SkittishReflections: Emma, please calm down!

Emma: How can I? The weatherman said that the forecast models shift Henri more to the west, making Connecticut, the target of the worst impacts!!!

SkittishReflections: Still uncertain about the exact track, Emma! There is a still a chance that Henri could be more offshore, and not be a great threat! But, it's always still important to be prepared, regardless! We can't let our guard down!

Ken: Exactly! At some point, I will have to get some batteries for the flashlights! Stock up on water, and canned goods!

Kyle: Tomorrow is the calm before the storm.

Brandon: Right. Hopefully, it won't be too bad.

Andrea: Exactly. If we lose power, I won't be able to sleep so well, due to the high humidity, sticking around for several days, after Henri departs on Monday! Not to mention another heatwave coming!

SkittishReflections: Oof! Hopefully, that won't interfere with power restoration efforts!! But, I am sure that if we should lose power, we will get back on, sooner than you think!

Emma: *still scared*

Richard: If its any consolation, Henri is not expected to exceed Category 1 status. It won't be anything like Hurricane Katrina, that struck the Gulf Coast back in 2005! Now, THAT was a monster of a storm! New Orleans was flooded! The leeves broke! And people had little access to food and water! That's how nasty that storm was! It took years for New Orleans to recover! Henri won't be like that, Emma! It will be here on Sunday, and ending by Monday, and that's when the clean up will occur, and power restorations, if need be! You can rest assured of that!

Emma: *in a much calmer state* Okay. Thanks, Richard.

Richard: Anytime! You'll be okay, babe! *pats Emma on her shoulder for comfort*

Emma: Wait, I don't remember that storm in 2005! I was only a year old at the time.

Ken: Yes, because you were born in 2004. But, you'll be okay, Emma! We'll get through this storm!

SkittishReflections: Yes, we will! We'll all be safe, and out of harm's way!

A/N Emma has to remain calm! Henri may not be as bad, but we still have to be prepared! Yes, a hurricane is coming to Connecticut, but there will be power crews ready for any possible outages! This will hopefully not be a repeat of last year, when the power was out for days, even weeks in some towns! We're all in this together, and we will make it through this! Don't be a silent reader.
