Olivia was watching The Simpsons. The episode was Bye Bye Nerdy, when Lisa kept getting beat up by Francine, the new kid at school. When it went to a commercial break, there was a back to school ad. Back to school was around the corner.

"Too soon!" she said. "Summer vacation can't be over!"

The commercial was about jeans, shirts, and school supplies. Olivia was gonna be a 5th grader, when she went back to school. She was dreading another school year.

"Looks like school is gonna start soon," sang her mother, pinching her cheeks. "You excited to be in the 5th Grade, honey?"

"I guess," shrugged Olivia. "Just won't be the same as 4th Grade."

"We'll do some school shopping, real soon!" giggled her mother, holding a basket of dirty clothes, as she was gonna do the laundry.

"I can hardly wait," said Olivia in a monotone voice. One thing was for sure.

The 2021-2022 academic school year was soon to be underway.
