Our short story contests mainly ask writers, both amateur and experienced, to write a short story specially for the event to ensure a minimum of equality between them.
However, a specific theme has been opened up to allow writers to enter a short story that has already been written and published.

A total of four themes are available to writers:

► Two "imposed"

Where you'll have to deal with ONE  vast, free creative subject.

► One "as you wish"

Where you'll have to deal with ONE subject from the wide range of those from past editions.

► One "free"

.
.
Where you simply have to enter a short story that has ALREADY BEEN WRITTEN or WRITE A NEW short story specially for the occasion, with no particular subject.

Each has twenty places for writers and three places for judges.
Spectators are not assigned to a theme and their number is unlimited.

The first three themes also include specific constraints to be respected.

In order to offer this adventure to as many Wattpadians as possible, our contests offer several different roles so that EVERYONE has a place here :

► For serious readers who enjoy critical reading.

◉ The Spectators :
► For Sunday readers who like to read without worrying.

Oh, haven't you heard? Everyone gets rewarded here! So you've got nothing to lose.

But remember that Wattpad is a community based on exchange. If everyone contributes, this platform can be much more lively than it is at the moment. It's just a question of giving ourselves the means!

An edition is held over a total period of nine months :

► The registration period takes place during the first two months.

► The writing period is followed by the next three.

♦︎

► The judgement period follows in the sixth, seventh and eighth months.

♦︎

► The remaining month will be used to organise the closing of the contest and give the organising team a well-deserved rest.

For several years now, the contest has featured a shop system, completed with fictional coins.

It's a place where participants can claim the prize they want, depending on their available funds.
