"Hello, I'm from the IRS--" The man over the phone spoke.

Jack hung up immediately and went about his day. The next day, the same thing but he ignored it. Like something out of a Harry Potter book, they called once every day for a week before they started calling two times a day, then three, then four.

Jack got a new phone and managed to get a couple days of peace before the calls started again. Blocking one number just meant that they would call from a different one the next day. These people are seriously persistent. He's pretty sure he paid all his taxes and all of his financial records were legitimate.

At work, Jack was helping his partner, Nate, clean up when they called again. Jack hung up without saying anything.

"Again?" Nate asked, "You need to see what's up. It may be credit fraud or something."

Jack shrugged, "I don't really care. They are calling way too much to be legit. It's probably a scam."

The next day, they called Nate when he didn't show up but after several calls going to voicemail, he figured that he would continue on his own. It was a lot messier than usual but he got it done and headed home. It was odd, he didn't get one call.

When Jack got home, he scrubbed his skin clean. As soon as he got his clothes on, there was a knock on the door. It was well past four in the morning, it was probably Nate.

"Nate, you missed it. You should have seen her--" He opened the door but it definitely wasn't his friend.

Several men with black suits with an blue, embroidered pentagram on the chest pocket.

"Hello." The man in front spoke, "Are you Jackson Grey?"

"Who's asking?"

"We spoke with your...colleague, Nathan Matthews." He said, "He was very helpful in locating you."

"Who are you?"

"We're from the IRS and we would like you to join us."

"I'm not an accountant." Jack deadpanned.

The group broke out in chuckles.

"No, we are from the IRS; the Invocation of the Resurrection of Satan." He said, "We've been watching you. We know what you do. What you did tonight to that girl. We think you are the perfect vessel."

"Oh it already is.." Jack grinned and laughed. He leaned against the doorframe and it burst into flame, "It took you long enough. Now let's get started."
