UNDEFINED L O V E
"The most magical moments are often the ones we don't see coming."
Happy reading.....
Haider found out that the person lying on the hospital bed was a software engineer from Bangalore. He had come to Mumbai that morning to visit his long-lost crush but unfortunately ran into an accident due to a mechanical problem with his motorcycle.
He informed the patient's parents about the accident through his mobile and then went to talk with the man who had brought the patient to the hospital along with Safiya.
Haider was totally surprised when he found out it was Azlan Shaik. Azlan belonged to one of the wealthiest families in Mumbai; they owned a chain of restaurants and resorts all over India.
"You don't have to worry about your friend. I've already talked with the police and explained how the accident happened. They will be here in an hour. I've also paid the hospital bills, so you can take your friend with you. I will handle everything here," Azlan told him. He looked absolutely calm and cautious.
Haider had often heard about him on TV and read about his achievements in newspapers. He knew Azlan was a successful businessman and the eminent heir of the Shaik family. But seeing him in person for the first time, his demeanor seemed cool yet intimidating.
"Thank you," was all Haider could say because the paparazzi had already broken into the hospital, causing a commotion.
"Please leave as early as possible; the situation looks terrible here," Azlan said, turning around and patting Haider's shoulder while talking on his mobile.
"You will find a car at the back of the hospital. My driver will drop you at your place or college, wherever you want to go, okay?" he said hurriedly, and Haider nodded immediately.

Haider tried to comfort Safiya as they made their way home.
Safiya, still in a daze from the accident and the patient’s critical condition, stared blankly out of the window, her mind replaying the chaotic scene over and over.
Haider spoke softly, "Safiya, I think you should take the day off. Get some rest."
She nodded absentmindedly, her eyes not leaving the moving scenery outside.
After a few moments of silence, she turned to Haider, her voice barely above a whisper. "Who was that man? The one who helped with the accident?"
Haider took a deep breath, realizing how overwhelming the day had been for her. "That was Azlan Shaik. He belongs to one of the wealthiest families in Mumbai. They own a chain of restaurants and resorts all over India."
Safiya’s eyes widened in shock. "Azlan Shaik? The same one we hear about on social media and read about in the billboards?"
Haider nodded. "Yes, the very same. He handled everything calmly and made sure the police were informed. He even paid the hospital bills."
Safiya couldn't believe it. "I had no idea. He seemed so... normal, despite everything."
When they finally reached her home, Safiya’s mother, Hoor, appeared confused as to why her daughter had returned so early.
Haider greeted her, "Assalamualaikum, Aunty."
"Wa Alaikum Assalam, Haider. Why are you both back so soon? Is everything alright?" Hoor asked, concern etched on her face.
Haider quickly explained the situation. "There was an accident on the way to the university. A biker was hit by a car, and Safiya got involved in helping him. We took him to the hospital, and she was quite shaken by the whole incident."
Hoor’s face paled with worry, but she quickly said a heartfelt, "Alhamdulillah," relieved that her daughter was safe. She insisted, "Please, Haider, have lunch with us. You’ve done so much already."
Haider smiled politely and shook his head. "Thank you, Aunty, but I have to get back to my classes. I left in the middle of the morning sessions. I promise I’ll visit another day."
After Haider left, Safiya took a deep breath, trying to compose herself. She turned to her mother, her curiosity piqued despite her lingering shock. "Ammi, how did the matchmaking meeting go?"
Hoor’s face lit up with happiness. "They liked your sister very much. They were very impressed with her."
Safiya’s surprise quickly turned to joy. "Really? That’s wonderful news!" Without wasting a moment, she rushed to find her sister, Shaziya.
Bursting into Shaziya’s room, she found her sister sitting by the window, looking serene. "Didi!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around Shaziya in a tight hug.
Shaziya, startled but pleased, hugged her back. "Safiya! What’s going on? Why are you home so early?"
Pulling back, Safiya’s eyes sparkled with happiness. "I heard they liked you! I’m so happy for you, Didi. You deserve all the happiness in the world."
Shaziya smiled, her eyes misting over with gratitude and love for her sister. "Thank you, Safiya."
Safiya settled into the couch next to Shaziya, her mind still reeling from the day's events. She took a deep breath and began to explain what had happened in vivid detail, her hands gesturing animatedly as she recounted the accident, the commotion, and the urgency of the situation.
"And you won't believe it, Didi," she said, her eyes wide with excitement. "The man who helped with everything was none other than Azlan Shaik! He’s this incredibly handsome young man, and he's a billionaire! He handled the situation so calmly and even paid all the hospital bills."
Shaziya chuckled softly, a gentle smile spreading across her face. "Safiya, you shouldn’t talk about a stranger like that. It’s not proper."
Safiya blushed slightly but couldn’t help grinning. "I know, I know. But he was just... different. You had to be there to see it."
Changing the subject, Shaziya asked, "So, how did the matchmaking meeting go? What happened when you and Naim were sent to talk?"
Safiya paused, her excitement giving way to a more thoughtful expression. "Well, from what I saw and heard, it seemed like a good meeting. Naim was polite and respectful. And from what Ammi said, he liked you a lot."
Shaziya’s smile widened, a mixture of relief and happiness. "That’s good to hear. I was so nervous about the meeting first but it went well. I just want everything to work out this time. Ammi Jaan has been worrying about me, I can't see her stress about my future."
Safiya placed a reassuring hand on her sister’s shoulder. "It will, Didi. You deserve all the happiness in the world, and if Naim is the one for you, everything will fall into place."
Their mother, Hoor, entered the room with a tray of tea and snacks. "Here, have some tea. It will help you relax," she said, placing the tray on the table in front of them.
Safiya took a cup, grateful for the warmth and comfort it provided. She sipped the tea and leaned back, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. "You know, Ammi, I can’t stop thinking about how lucky we were today. That accident could have been so much worse."
Hoor nodded, her eyes reflecting the same gratitude. "Alhamdulillah, everything turned out alright. And it’s good to know there are still kind people in the world, like Azlan Shaik."
The mention of Azlan brought a shy smile back to Safiya's face. "Yes, he was very kind. And not to mention, quite handsome."
Shaziya laughed softly, shaking her head. "Alright, Safiya, enough about Azlan."
Safiya nodded, her spirits lifted by the positive turn of events. "You're right, Didi. This is a happy day. I’m so glad things are looking up for you."
The sisters sat together, sharing stories and laughter, their bond growing even stronger. Despite the chaos of the day, they found solace in each other and in the promise of a brighter future.
