Amelio: I failed the semester! Again! *smiles and holds up his paper*

Jerry: Again Ami? What happened to you?

Amelio: *shrugs and puts it on the fridge* Now everyone can see how much of a failure I am! *smiles and walks out the kitchen*

Jerry: *sighs and rubs his face*

Allie: Why? *folding laundry* I'm doing chores.

Amelio: Allie- can- please? Just talk to me?

Allie: Alright, Alright. You want me to tell you about my day?

Amelio: Y-yeah. What'd y-you uh do today?

Allie: Well.. I did my homework, My dad told me to help with the chores.

Amelio: *puts the knife down* Y-yeah?

Allie: Yeah. Oh! Our new kitten did a cute trick! He can stand up and beg for treats!

Amelio: Y-you didn't give him a name?

Allie: We're stuck deciding between Monty Jr. ooor just Junior.

Amelio: *snorts* Well can't go wrong with either one!

Max: *gets up from the couch*

Amelio: *runs to the stairs* DON'T OPEN IT!

Max: Alright.. but I'll be close by. *goes back to the living room*

Amelio: *goes down the stairs and looks through the peephole*

Shadow: *waiting impatiently*

Amelio: *takes a deep breathe and opens the door* H-hey!

Shadow: *slaps him*

Amelio: *looks at him surprised and rubs his cheek* Ow-

Shadow: Upstairs! Now!! *growls and grabs his hand, pulling him upstairs*

Amelio: *follows him* O-ok
