About time I wrote this

Shadow pushed Amelio on the bed, getting on top of him. Both breathless, from the heavy make out session they endured in the hallway. Amelio felt tears fall on his face as Shadow cried above him. "Don't you ever, do that again" he says and gives him another kiss" Amelio pulls away, "I won't! I-I'm so sorry. I panicked" He said between all the kisses Shadow was giving him. "You talk it out with me!! You know I will, I love you so damn much" Shadow said and stroked Amelio's cheek. Amelio started tearing up and held his hand. "I love you so damn much too... but.. I didn't even know what to do when you freaked out about that test score. Only Koda knew and when... when.... Found out about my semester grade... I-I couldn't talk to you. I panicked and called Allie and-and-" Amelio vision was blurred with all the tears building up in his eyes. Shadow leaned down and kisses his cheek, kisses his eyes and watched the tears flow down from them. "I-I'm sorry" he sniffled. "I-I was doing so well.. I couldn't do anything. I-I couldn't even help you. I'm a bad boyfriend" he hiccuped and covered his face with his arm. Shadow pulled him into a hug and kissed his cheek once more. "You're not a bad boyfriend. We all have our problems. I was just trained to be perfect. You were trained to carry everyone else's problems that you couldn't handle your own, I'm sorry" Amelio slowly hugged back and kept listening. "But you did do something"

Amelio wiped his eyes. "Y-yeah? W-what'd I do?" Shadow looked at him and smiled softly. "You broke me out of my studying bubble" Amelio blinked at him. "Your studying bubble?" He said, a little confused. "After a bad grade, I shut everything else down and switch to pilot mode. I go to my desk and sit down, I study for weeks Ami. For weeks! It takes Koda hours and even days to convince me to get out and do something, eat something, anything, but... you broke me out of it this time. By ghosting us." Shadow looked a little hurt. "You weren't texting us memes, you weren't answering your phone, it was like.. you disappeared. We were all so worried, Allie tried visiting you, but your dad wouldn't let us see you, it was like something happened" He glanced at Amelio's bandaged arm. "And something did, but when Koda showed me everything by forcing me to look up, I had to rush over here and talk to you. You big idiot!! I thought something terrible happened to you!!" He buried his face in Amelio's neck.

Basking in his scent as Amelio gets lost in his thoughts before finally answering. "I'm sorry... when I... uhm.. did the thing again to my arm. I.. I thought you would be upset or disappointed.. maybe even angry and even though, I deserve everything. I was so scared. I was scared that this was gonna be the last straw and you couldn't take anymore from me. So I hid it away from you and called Allie to try and make me forget it, but.. it just made things worse" Shadow opened his mouth to say something before Amelio outs his finger up against his lips. "Hold on, and I thought that for a long time, that's why I ghosted you in the first place, I was so lost in though that.. I couldn't do anything. I didn't mean to make you worry. But in a way.. I'm glad I talked to Allie about it and I'm glad he told you because I got to see you again" He grabbed Shadow's hands and holds them. Shadow smiled and kissed him again.

"You can never do this again to me or I will send you to a therapist" Shadow growled and stroked Amelio's hair. "Noted" Amelio stated and gave another kiss to him.

"I love you" Shadow says. "I love you too" Amelio replies back and they just hold each other, on their bed. Basking in eachother's presence they miss so much.
