"So, a cell consists of a nucleas, a..." Mr Pao babbled about the structure of a cell. While he was chattering away, ideas came rolling into my head but it was not about Science at all.

It was a Prank.

I had only one period left and it was like watching paint dry. I kept dozing off but fortunately, Mr Pao did not even notice a single thing. After what seemed to be like a century, we were finally dismissed and I immediately scanned the area for my bestfriend, Jeannie.

Finally, I spotted someone with long silky hair and a smooth milky complexion. Sprinting, i called out her name, "Jeannie!" she pivoted on her heel but it was too late, we both tumbled onto the ground.

"Oh my God! What's the hurry?" inquired my bestfriend.

" Oh nothing...just a prank!" With that information only, she grabbed my wrist and asked me about my plan, dragging me out of the school.

"This is about Nonoy!" Jeannie chuckled as she recalled my adorable and innocent-looking but annoying brother. Nonoy and I used to always spend time together but that soon all changed when he had gotten hooked on electric-gadgets. Jeannie was all ears when I instructed her on what to do later on, nevertheless, she was in doubt.

After much persuasion, she had finally agreed .

My house was just a stone's throwaway from the school but the walk seemed to be forever since the afternoon sun laughed heartlessly as it drowned us in sweat.

Even though it was April Fool's today, nobody had pranked either of us. Our excitement had died down once we reached the front door of my house. Shivers went down my spine as I poured ice-cold water into a cup and grabbed a handful of ice cubes from the ice tray then plopped them into the same cup, resulting in a freezing cauldron.

Jeannie collected other things needed to carry out the plan and hid into the corner of my bright,cheerful and well - organized room.

I cried for Nonoy to go into my room and settle down so that he could help me with my tuition homework to which he reluctantly grumbled. He did not know that Jeannie was inside of the room since she was so well- hidden.

My heart began to beat faster when I realised that we were really going through with the plan. My heart was pounding so hard that I was surprised by the fact that it did not explode already.

We were doing perfectly well when I had to signal Jeannie to start what her purpose here was. I turned on my phone, went to the camera app and pressed 'record' then said loudly so that Jeannie could hear, " I wish Jeannie was here!"

Immediately, I grabbed my cup and splashed its contents onto Nonoy's face, followed by an inverted of ice and cold water on his head.

Everything was silent for a second or two before Nonoy, flew into a rage,hurling the pail at the wall, followed by a string of harsh words.

Jeannie and I instantly dropped to the floor, laughing and clutching our stomachs. Our actions silenced him, his face full of curiousity. We attempted explaining to him the situation between our bursts of laughter but to no avail.

" You have been pranked! And blackmailed!" I exclaimed after finally succeeding in stopping the laughter.

" Pranked, I get it, but blackmailed?" my brother inquired, his face certainly perplexed.

I showed him my phone which was still on the camera app but had stopped recording. Before we knew it,he was as white as a sheet, his eyes about to pop out of their sockets. Nonoy knew what the words he said were during our prank, and he was not going to let our Mother and Father know about it.

He pleaded with us not to let our parents know about it. In the end, we made a bargain, my little slave for a whole year for our parents' acknowledgment about that day. Jeannie and I heaved a sigh of relief after our success.

I laughed in triumph, Nonoy was finally getting what he deserved for ignoring me.

Well.. This was written the day before April Fool's day! Thank you teacher for reminding us ! Well... I did not do this yet but, I will do this prank when I live together with him... so maybe like one year or two years from now... So, NONOY! IF YOU'RE READING THIS, GET READY!
