Do you remember?

We promised the world to each other, and we almost had it. The childhood games far gone, and the families we cared so much for too.

We were so close we truly understood each other, or I thought we did, but I guess not. It wasn't me who changed, maybe that is the problem, we are all supposed to evolve, but you changed.

Growing up together living side by side, our stories intertwined forever. In the story of my life, you were the main character, we shared the same pages until you took them and ripped them out.

I hate that you left without me. we always said that this world was ours, and we would claim it together. And I believed in that I held onto that hope for as long as I could.

I can't blame you tho, I would leave myself to you need your own life we needed to form our own story, but it still hurts that you left me in the dust, no good by. I wish I know that day would be our final moments together.

And I hope when you are older you will look back at our childhood and smile. because I saw the part of you that only when you are older you will see too.

I remember those good old days, but I can't hold on to them forever. You made the right choice no matter how hard that is for me.
