Arachnophobia

We're starting off easy with a common phobia. The stories will get more intense as we go. Sorry if you hate spiders. Enjoy!~
Grace: fear of spiders, crabs, or anything in the arachnid family.
It all started when I was little. Staring out my window when I should've been asleep. But the moon fascinated me and I just had to look at it for a minute... or thirty.
Either way, one fateful night I was doing so, I felt a slight tickling sensation on my elbow making it's way up my arm. Looking down, I froze in shock. I had always been scared of spiders, but this night soon would change the extent of fear I felt.
"Just smack it!" I could hear my brother's voice in my head from when a mosquito had fallen on me. It was probably the same with these, but I did not want to touch this spider.
I leaned in, inspecting it closer. I could just barely see the hair on it. It was crawling, so I decided soon it'd crawl off my arm and I could hit it with a shoe.
But no. It stopped crawling and basically took a break on my arm. I panicked internally. "Mom..." I called, scared out my mind. "M-mom!" It moved a bit at my voice and I stopped my pleas.
"Just smack it!" My brother repeated in my head. I built up some courage and went to hit it. Instead of it flying off me somewhere, I hit the wrong place and the spider jumped back a little then bit my arm.
I screamed aloud and soon my mom, dad, and brother rushed in. My mom turned the light on, my dad smacked the spider off, and once it landed my brother stepped on it.
I cried because it stung excruciatingly. "That was a black widow," my father informed my mom. "We're going to take you to the hospital, sweetie. Stay calm,"she said, wrapping me in a blanket, picking me up, and all four of us got in the car rushing to the hospital.
Of course there was a chance it wasn't too serious, but my parents were overprotective, and their scared faces made the experience more traumatizing.
The doctors checked and cleaned it and prescribed some medicine for my rapid heart beat. The spot where I was bit was just scary. Rotten and infected looking. It was a couple weeks until it healed, and every night I had a nightmare.
I still have the same nightmare to this day. One little spider crawls from the crack of a wall. A little of my anxiety flutters, but I kill it fast with a shoe, and soon there's nothing to worry about. At least I think so until trillions come crawling out of other cracks, fighting their way out, the cracks actually evolving into holes because of their force. They crawl all over my body, suffocating me under the mass of multiple tiny arachnid bodies. Soon my sanity is at the edge and I scream out trying to brush them off and this is when each and every one opens their tiny menacing fangs ready to bite.
But I wake up, breathing hard every time. I don't care if it probably won't ever happen. Spiders will forever be my worst fear.
