Petrichor III

Hello everyone!✋🏻😄

I'm back with the next part. I haven't done any proofreading, so there might be some mistakes. Beforehand sorry. I have included a video up there, do play it while reading. Hopefully, y'all will enjoy it. So, let's dive into the story without wasting any time.

Please read the Author's note in the end.

Happy reading!💚

"Shhh!", I suddenly tightened my hold on Mishti's hand and pulled her, "Stay quiet", I whispered again while we both got behind a tree. She obliged and I pointed my fingers towards some students who were near us. And if I wouldn't have been alert, then they would have caught us. Huff! She nodded after seeing them and we both waited for the students to leave. And thankfully, they left soon.

"Thank God, we got saved by just a minute", I sighed and turned while resting my head on the tree trunk.

"Abi...Abir! Can you please...", Mishti fumbled while pointing towards our hands tightly clasped. Oh, shoot! It has been quite some time and still, I hadn't left her hand. Also, there's a little space between us. Probably she got uncomfortable. Jeeeezzz! She's right now looking everywhere except me while a slight pink shade is adorning her cheeks. She's repeatedly tucking her bangs behind her ears with her free hand. And that fresh morning glow hasn't subsided yet. She's my muse! Hayee!

"Abir", she called out to me breaking my trance. "Umm yeah! Actually, we still need to sneak out of here fully. So, please hold it for some more time till we go out of there reach", I replied as I don't want to leave her hand which is giving me the much-needed warmth. The air as usual smelling of lavender because of her presence which is having a strong effect on me. Actually, her whole presence around me is making my heart do somersaults, a lot of somersaults. She nodded. I shrugged off my thoughts and turned back to check if there's anyone left. Ahaan must have been doing his job to distract the teacher's attention from us pretty well as I haven't seen any commotion till now. Hmm so no one is there, we must leave. "Come on, Mishti! The path is clear", I said and we silently strode towards the forest hiding behind the bushes and trees.

We are walking on the narrow forest path hand in hand with Mishti behind me while the bushes and trees are covering us pretty well. I have been here before so I have explored every other corner of this place. Hence, it's easy to get to a particular place I want Mishti to witness. Hopefully, she will like it.

"Ahh! Here we go! At last, we reached this path. Come on, Mishti! Let's go!", I said in relief after getting the main forest path to which she simply nodded. This path is much broader than the previous narrow one. So, we started walking side by side and not to forget, hands still entangled. Both sides of the path are full of forest vegetation ranging from tall trees to creepers. As the Eastern Ghats tropical rainforest, it's full of different and illustrious shades of green but it's neither dense with various vegetation nor it's light with similar trees. It's moderate in terms of density with several species of Plantae Kingdom residing there. This is because it's just the exterior of the main heartland which is much denser than this. It is also home for a lot of other creatures but they remain in the heartland away from the hustle-bustle of the tourist place. But little creatures can be seen now and then. Right now, the chirping of birds, hoots of monkeys and various sounds of other creatures are echoing as usual in the place. Don't worry! We are certainly not invading into the heartland or the private space of the animals, just going to a place where beauty will surely render one speechless.

We are walking in comfortable silence, only the breathing sound of ours lingering with the obvious forest sounds echoing. Mishti has already slipped into the spell of this beauty of Mother Nature while I have been under her mysterious spell. Her eyes behind the specs twinkling and crinkling with mirth while taking in the ethereal beauty of nature, whereas my eyes are only fixed on the breathtaking sculpture of God whose changing expression are a sight to behold. Her luscious pink lips are opening and closing with soundless 'Wows' praising Mother Nature, which is stirring something in me. She's looking like a child who is exploring a new thing and her expressions are giving it all away. She's so much engrossed in seeping in every aspect of the surrounding that she has probably forgotten about our hands which are still clasped. And of course, I ain't going to leave her hand or even utter about it till the time she realises herself.

"You like it. Right?" I whispered not wanting to lengthen the silence between us. But she does not respond. God! This girl!!! She's so much engrossed in exploring that my voice probably couldn't reach her ears. As aloud, you Gadhedo! "Mishti", I called her in a raised voice and she turned to me," Ahh-yeah! What?"

"I asked, do you like it?" I replied while my raising left brow and smiling ear to ear.

"Nah-", she surprised me" Ajeeb Aadmi! Like Nah, I just love it", she completed and started laughing seeing my shocked face. "Thank God! I thought... phew! Angry Woman, just wait and watch, this is just a trailer", I said while joining her in laughing.

" You know, I always wanted to explore Mother Nature. It's so beautiful and peaceful here. I just love this forest vibes", she said with a constant smile playing which is just... Ufff! I can't explain, yaar. "Mother Nature's lap is just like our mother's lap. And why shouldn't it be, after all, she's our mother", I replied to which she nodded. "You know what, you have a great way with words. They always leave a certain effect on the listener's mind. You express, Nah, correction: you play with words like a magician, Abir! I like to listen to you. Also that spontaneous Shayari-" she stopped midway, realising what she just blurted and averted her eyes," Eh I mean that piece you said in the bus was so good, even though it was spontaneous", she completed. Her admiration is clearly visible from her face.

OMG!!! She just praised me! Partnerrrrrrrr!!! Thank you so much! This day is turning out to be the best. Love you, Partner! Also, she remembers my Shayari! I never expected this to be honest. Is she feeling the same pull as I am feeling towards her? Stop daydreaming Abir! She must have got reminded about it and praised me. That's it. Nothing more or maybe... Jeeez! Stop Abir. Just act cool, for God's sake. I did the Garba internally while showing a small smile on the face, intentionally so that my happiness won't seem obvious to her. I replied scratching my brows, "Ah well! You don't know me yet, Mishti. Actually, I love to play with words" and then ruffled my hair out of shyness.

"You're the first logophile I have met", she stated with that charming smile.

"Logophile?"

"Yeap. One who loves words or love to play with words."

"Wow, so you know a lot too. Not bad! I thought you just know how to make that nose and cheeks of yours red while fuming in anger, ready to pounce upon the person in front like a tigress", I completed and laughed out aloud still walking hand in hand. "Hahaha! Very funny, Ajeeb kahinka. Huh!" she retorted sarcastically while walking.

" But that's true. I read a lot of books apart from studies. Why I'm even saying, you must have already noticed my nerdy self. So, yeah!", she completed with a warm smile pointed towards her specs to indicate what she meant. " Adorning the specs doesn't certify that you're not good looking or you're a boring nerd. If it would have been in my hand to show you your prettiness and awesomeness, then I would have right away showed it to you, I swear. Outer beauty in humans is not perennial like that of Mother Nature, it fades away with time. But the most important thing is: Who and how we are from inside! That matters the most to me at least, I don't know or even care about the world", I said instantly what I always believe in. You may find it hypocrite, as I am attracted yeah, attracted towards her due to her outer beauty, at first. But then one thing I can rely upon that from the very start I had felt a sudden pull towards her presence even before I had the luxury to have a glance of her.

Her wan smile changed to a full-blown smile which bloomed directly from her heart upon hearing my words and she replied, "Ummm...Thanks, Abir!" Then only I realised the effects of my words on her and I immediately complied," Well... You're welcome, Mishti" while ruffling my hair. We resumed our walk again.

"By the way, where are you taking me? We are walking for half an hour yet we haven't reached the desired place", she asked while peering sideways and admiring the view. "Ummm I guess we are near it only. Just a five-minute walk from here and you'll get the best view ever of your life and I'll get mine, hopefully", I answered her but whispered the last part. Of course! I can't let her know that na. Hehehe.

I strained my ears trying to hear the sound of that particular place and after a few minutes of walking, I got to hear that refreshing natural sound. Finally, we are just a few steps away from there. "Let's go!" I exclaimed grabbing her hand more tightly and strode away towards it. "Woah! Woah! Easy Ajeeb Aadmi. That place won't vanish away", she laughed but accompanied me.

"And there you go!" I exclaimed as we finally reached and I immediately turned to Mishti, not wanting to miss any of those spectacular ranges of expressions which I'm hoping to get and certainly I will get to witness as well.

One look at her face and all my thoughts got proved so right. I was so damn right man! Watching the sight before her, several expression started playing on her pretty face ranging from shock, bewilderment, shock, admiration, adoration, happiness and finally a peaceful expression settling there. A while ago, she was like a child exploring new things but right now she is like a baby who has just got introduced to her mother's lap. And I'm so much overwhelmed right now to have witnessed this with my own eyes, that I can't even describe my feelings in mere words, for the very first time! This logophile is unable to find words for the first time and the credit goes to this girl who has managed to create havoc in my life and being, in just a few days.

And yeah, the reason behind her priceless reactions is this most beautiful haven which is still safe from the prying eyes of the humans except for mine and Mishti's. In front of us, there's a creek coming out from a big crack between two big rocks, brimming with fresh water. It's descending from a certain height not much higher but enough to make that burbling sound of running water which has a certain calming effect to one's soul. And this is the reason for that peaceful expression settling in her face and by now she has already closed her eyes, probably to feel it fully. The creek then touches the ground and descends further way making its path carrying cold, clear and refreshing water. On both sides of it, many wildflower plants along with trees are residing making the environment vibrant yet soothing. On these, many birds, squirrels etc are chirping and running here and there making the sight more lively and full of life. Butterflies, bees etc are buzzing around the wildflowers adding more beauty to it. But the most attractive and mesmerising view is the rainbow, which is breathtaking, I swear. The sunlight falling on the descending creek has created a little rainbow there which is so bewitching to naked eyes! Mother Nature's beauty is unmatchable and this sight is the evidence.

"Abir, see!" Mishti called me out of my trance to show me another spectacular view. She pointed towards a corner, little far away from us, where two beautiful deers and a cute little fawn are drinking water from the creek. The baby fawn is surrounded by the other two from b and is seeping the water joyously. The other two seems to be happy watching it enjoying drinking the water. Then as if feeling our gazes on it, the little one lifted its doe-shaped eyes directly towards us and blinked a few times. I have been here many times but never have got to experience this. I guess Mishti Magic it is! Hahaha!

I heard a gasp beside me," Wow! It's so cute!" and turned to my side, only to witness another pair of same beautiful doe-shaped eyes twinkling with wonder, contentment and happiness. She is squealing with joy, to be precise. There's is no difference between the two eyes except for the specs settled on the button nose of Mishti. And I couldn't help but spell out, "Awwww!"

She must have thought that it's for the little fawn but the case is the opposite. I again turned towards that view and continued to gaze till the time the little group left. We didn't want to disturb them or try to invade their space, it would have freaked them out. Already the forest is slowly getting under the clutches of humans and as this particular place is still safe from the prying eyes, we don't want the poor creatures to stop visiting this place out of fear. It must be very rare for them to step out of the main heartland of the forest, visit this place and obviously we don't want them to stop wandering in their own space. That's why we didn't make a single move till the time they left this place. It was like a silent agreement between me and Mishti.

Suddenly the rainbow started diminishing as the sunlight b began fading away. I looked up at the sky to see dark clouds accumulating. Wow, Partner! Again rain! What's with you nowadays han? You're being so generous to me. Not that I'm complaining! But yeah, why you do this only when I'm with Mishti? I chuckled inaudibly on my thoughts.

I sighed and turned to my right to find no one there. What the hell/ Where did she go? She was right here only, just a minute ago and now fusssss... I instantly ran my eyes in every direction, only to witness this Angry Woman's soft avatar! She's standing at a distance on the opposite side of the creek with a swarm of butterfly surrounding her. Those colourful little creatures are flying over the wildflowers and this new fresh humanly flower too. I chuckled at the sight in front of me. Such cute kiddo she is. I started walking towards her and then noticed that she had already removed her jacket revealing her smooth milky arms and her pink crop top fully now. When did she remove them? Well, nevermind. I neared her and in the meantime one of the butterfly from the swarm flew away from the flowers and slowly got settled on her palms which were stretched out. And to my surprise, it didn't buzz away while Mishti took it closer to her face. I immediately pulled out my buddy from the backpack and silently captured the moment.

One look at her face and I'm clean bowled! Mishti's face is literally glowing with happiness and that ever bewitching smile not leaving her face at all. She is so lost in eyeing the beautiful patterns of the little soul that she hasn't realised that I'm present there, that too already took a snap. But I got proven wrong the next second when she whispered still eyeing the butterfly," Ajeeb, see how beautiful it is!"

I replied," Yeah, it is! And this is the best view ever!" and smiled. Slowly pink colour crept on her cheeks and after witnessing this for many times, I'm sure that this is shyness. She didn't dare to look towards me but I know she got my meaning behind the words.

Tip Top Tip Top

All of a sudden large heavy drops of after started descending from the clouds above which have turned dark by now. All the butterflies flew away hiding, much to Mishti's disappointment. She clicked her tongue in annoyance and sighed. She hates the rain. But why? I looked up and saw the cool drops falling, hitting my being. On reflex, I closed my eyes and started feeling the drops hitting me and took in the petrichor and lavender mixed fragrance. It calmed me as always. Partner, what's with you nowadays? Every time I'm with Mishti you make it a point to make a downpour. Is that any sort of sign? I asked him but this time only the intensity of drops hitting my face grew faster as if answering my question positively. Okay, Abir! Stop zoning out this time, you can enjoy this and find answers, later. Focus on Mishti for now!

Breaking my trance, I opened my eyes and looked around but there's no trace of Mishti. Not again! Why she always vanishes and why the hell I always get to know after she stealthily moves away? Urghhh!

Not wanting to waste any time, I called out to her loudly," Mishti! Mishti! Where the hell are you?"

"Stop screaming Ajeeb! I'm here only. Look on your left far end", she instantly screamed and I turned towards the said direction while pushing my already wet hair back using my hands. She's standing there, under a shade which is capable of accommodating a single person. What's with this girl yaar? How she manages to find a shade always? That day in college was okay but today as well that too in the jungle! It's like she doesn't find the shade, the shade finds their way to her to rescue her from the rain. I chuckled while walking towards her, thinking. Upon nearing her I asked," How do you always manage to escape and find a shade, whenever it rains? And why do you hate rain so much?" while seeing her frowning and pouting out of irritation & also trying to save herself from droplets thought she is kind off wet already. Silly girl!

She replied," I just get lucky to have found them And answer to your second question, it's none of your business. Just know this much that Rain and I share a bitter relation from the very start". Umm, she's a bit cranky now, that's why she sounded like that, I suppose. But nevermind! I have to do something now to show and make her realise that this heavenly shower is not what she perceives it to be. What should I do? What should I do? Ummm... Idea! Hahaha! Let the fun begin, Abir!

I slowly and stealthily proceeded towards her saying," How about turning the bitter relation into a better one this time?" grabbing her wrist I pulled her out of the shade and as she was absent-minded, she didn't have the time to protest. And before even she could realise she's under the rain already. Now she's here standing completely drenched, shocked with the turn of events. And here I'm having a good hearty laugh looking at her state. But surprisingly, he stood there numb, not moving a single bit with an eerie but nerve-wracking silence. One look at her and something in my being screamed to me that she's not right.

The droplets falling heavily have already successfully fogged the specs not letting me see through her eyes which is the window to her emotions. Her shoulders slumped downwards and hand tightly clenched sticking to her body at sides. Her now drenched figure is a great distraction, to be honest, but her demeanour is unsettling. No matter how much I try, I cannot push away the feeling that something is not right with her, even her calming presence is not helping me.

"Mishti", I called out her and she flinched at the voice as if getting out of some trance. She suddenly pulled out her specs from her eyes and then I got to see the most unexpected thing in her orbs. I noticed that not only the sky is pouring down but her doe-shaped orbs are red and shedding pearls. To say I'm shocked will be an understatement, I am shocked, confused and scared all at the same time. What on earth triggered this to happen? My without consent pulling when she clearly had stated her hatred or my laughter? I couldn't pinpoint the cause. Again I looked into her eyes and by now they are smouldering spitting fire, no trace of water in eyes. She started stepping backwards and briskly turned back, striding away from me as if I am some stranger. No, I won't let her go! Abir, you need to clear this mess now. Act fast, Gadhedo!

Without any second thought, I speedily strode towards her and before even I could myself realise, I embraced her from the backside. I placed my forehead on her shoulder with tears ready to spill over and whispered," I'm sorry Mishti. I'm really sorry! Please forgive me. I didn't intend to hurt you. I never knew that little act will end up like this. Am really very sorry!"

At first, she struggled to get out of my embrace but calmed down hearing my last sentence. And before I could realise, she broke down. Under that heavy downpour, her shivering frame engulfed by me gave me the message that I had touched a bad nerve, which I shouldn't have. I slowly turned her only to witness the heartbreaking sight. Still, I didn't let her go away from my hold. I cupped her face with my hands and involuntarily wiped her tears with my thumbs and whispered sweet nothings along with apologies, yet again, hoping to calm her down. After some time both the natural downpour and Mishti's downpour started to die though her whimpering didn't stop. What have you done to this poor soul, Gadhedo? Damn you! Such an idiot, I'm. Huh!

Still, few droplets were falling from the sky but Mishti's cry had already stopped. But till now she hadn't tried to meet my gaze. I wonder, why? It should be me in her place. Right?

As if reading my thoughts, all of a sudden she lifted her gaze and met mine. There's a certain tranquillity in her orbs right now but why? A while ago there was resentment in them for me but now there's a certain thankfulness there. But WHY?????

Then I realised that Mishti's gaze has descended downwards. Downwards? I followed her gaze, only to get a shock as she's eyeing my lips. Suddenly, something stirred and involuntarily, my eyes fell on her plump luscious lips. The temperature around us shooter from zero to hundred in a split of seconds. It started getting hotter and hotter. Her pink lips are efficiently stirring my inner desires about which I was unaware of till now. The only thought of how will her lips on mine will feel like started assaulting my mind, making my heart race even faster. Our proximity always manages to race up my heartbeats but at this particular time, it feels as if it will explode in a second. Our heavy breathings fanning each other's face. Feeling her intense gaze on my lips I looked into her eyes and at the same time, she did that too. Our eyes met and surprisingly every other thing around us started vanishing. She slowly started closing her eyes and her lips parted simultaneously. And that's it. I am now totally clear about my next move. As much as I wanted this, she wanted it too! I closed my eyes slowly and neared more towards her face cupped in my hands. The more I'm getting closer, the more my senses are shutting down and just one thing playing in my being: her lips on mine. I brushed my lips on her soft pink petals slightly and the existent zoo in my stomach crazy as hell. Those petals felt so soft. Her hold on my arms tightened as if saying to continue what we have started. Now no going back! I was going to place my lips again on her and is just a centimetre apart when I heard something.

"Abir! Mishti! Abir! Mishti!"

"Abir! Mishti!" I fluttered my eyes open only to realise our state. Someone screamed our name from a certain distance. And that scream got successful in breaking our mo-uhhmm trance. Immediately Mishti also opened her eyes, hell shocked about what just transpired between us. Not wasting any more time, I released her from my embrace, once I got my senses back letting the things sink in my being. I didn't want to face her but sub-consciously my gaze fell on her only to witness the same maze of emotions playing on her face mirroring mine. A mixture of disappointment, bewilderment, embarrassment, procrastination and ambivalent emotion happiness and unhappiness at the same time. She's fidgeting with her bag strap out of nervousness and I could not help but take in every bit of her wet state. Her wet clothes are clinging to her body like a second skin and her sharp features became more prominent. I don't know why but my gaze fell upon her lips and something shifted in me. Not wanting to get distracted I moved my eyes to look into her again but she avoided it. Abir yaar STOP! You're making her more uncomfortable, for God's sake! What happened a few minutes ago is already a lot, don't make it more awkward by staring, my mind screamed.

"Abir, Mishti! Thank God I found you two!" Ahaan exclaimed while making his way through trees and bushes towards us and breaking my thoughts which seemed never-ending. Ohh! So, the voice was of Ahaan. Idiot! He could've come a bit earlier but no, he will come when the damage is already done. Useless! Good for nothing! Huh! Yeah, I know he saved me from doing the biggest blunder that too unknowingly but still he could have arrived earlier na. Nevermind!

After catching up on his breath, he suddenly burst on me," Where the hell were you two? Haan! I was scared shit. Do you have any idea how I have managed to cover up for you two back at the campsite? And you Gadhedo! Dumbass! You had told me that you will take only..." I suddenly grabbed his hand and took him a little away from Mishti so that she won't be able to hear us. But Ahaan didn't stop, guess what... he's pissed off as hell and the cherry on the top is: He's tired. Partner, please open the doors of heaven for me!

He continued screaming," What the hell? Why you brought me here? Haan? So, that Mishti won't hear me cussing!" I interjected, " Ahaan stop! Listen, I'm sorry and yeah I brought you away for that reason only" with a pleading face. "No, don't show me that puppy face. I won't calm down easily this time. Do you have any idea how worried I was for you two? How difficult it was covering up for you two? Thank God, I have informed Anjali beforehand and she helped me a lot. She's worried sick for Mishti but still, she is managing everything their. As you have told me not to say anything about this to Kash, I didn't but it was so difficult to hide, you know! Huh! And yeah you told me that you will take only half an hour or max to max one hour. But Mr Rajvansh, have you realised that you two were here for nearly three freaking hours? From half an hour to 3 hours. Wow! Like really!? We were scared as shit. And to top it all it had to rain today only! Urghhh! This made it even more difficult to trace you both. Thank God that you dumbhead had given me the map to reach here or else I would have got lost here...", he continued his rant while I apologised over and over in between but nothing slowed him down.

After nearly 10 minutes of lecture, the newly turned mother hen Mr Ahaan, the great stopped his rant when suddenly I engulfed him a bear hug. " Ahaan, we are completely fine! And I'm really very sorry, because of me you have to go through all of that. I spoiled your picnic. Am really sorry man!!! And thank you so much as well", hearing me he calmed down and chuckled. He pulled away, saying," Some words and successfully calmed me down", chuckled and continued," Apologies accepted. By the way, I think you were having a gala time here before my arrival. Ohhooooo!" while pointing towards Mishti's direction with that stupid teasing smirk. " Such a chameleon you're Ahaan! One moment you just shoot fire daggers at me and the next moment you change your colours. Goddd! And about the thing you asked, my answer is: IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!! No more talks", I stopped him from retorting by placing my hand on his mouth and continued," A few moments ago you were scolding me for the delay and now you're yourself delaying. Please no more questions and let's leave or else that Beautiful Red will kill me if at all he figures out my absence anyhow. And you go fetch, Mishti. No more questions. I'll tell you later. Now please go!" I pushed him and removed my hands. He scoffed and called me some great names before leaving towards Mishti, also warned me saying," Gadhedo! Better be ready with your answers, for now, I'm leaving you because of her and the situation. But there will be no next time". I hummed and saw him approaching Mishti.

I intentionally didn't go along with him, as I wanted to gather myself and let her do that as well. I stood away from them and watched their exchange. At first, some worried concerned talks then some light-hearted laughs and talks replaced the former. Thanks to Ahaan, her refreshing smile came back and those worry lines withered away in seconds.

I don't know what I'm feeling? Why she's affecting me so much? Why I have to pull up such a stunt? First, sneaking out and then that... Hmmm. Why I just got lost every time I look upon her? Why I always get so worried about her? Why her presence only is capable of calming and unsettling my being at the same time? And most importantly, why she reacted that way when I pulled her out of the shade into the rain? There are a lot of questions swirling in my and the answer key to these resides either within me or her. I seriously need to reflect and figure out whether this thing is a mere infatuation or something more?

" Abir, let's go!" Ahaan with a Mishti approached me and I hummed in response, leading the way I walked ahead as I'm the only one acquainted with the path while they walked behind me, chatting. Actually, the whole time Ahaan was the one talking while I and Mishti just hummed or answered his queries. No elaborate talks at all, only monosyllabic replies! And of course, not a single exchange between us. I know Ahaan must have noticed it but he chose to ignore it and I can't be more thankful to him.

In less than half an hour, we reached the campsite as I took the shortest way. "We have reached guys!", I chipped in between as they both made their way out of the bushes to the open space, where I am standing. I stretched out my wet arms to feel the forest breeze and inhaled the clean air.  "Wow! It's so beautiful", I heard a gasp beside me and as expected it was none other than that honey-laced voice holder, Mishti. I turned to my right to see her face totally in awe with the view in front of her, for the second time in the day. I so knew it. Yesss! After all, this beauty was found by the great Abir Rajvansh during one of my wanderings. So, it has to be the best na. Actually, I have discovered this place a year ago during one of my solo trips. I clicked some picture and uploaded them on social media sites. After that, this place got converted into, the most visited tourist place of the town. And when the college authorities were in a fix to decide the picnic destination, I recommended them this place. But thank God that I somehow didn't upload the creek pictures and that place is still safe. And today we have made truckload memories there...

Instinctively on watching her reaction, I pulled out my buddy, my camera from the backpack and captured the moment. The shutter sound of it made her realise about my action as she flinched on hearing it. But she chose to not acknowledge it, much to my disappointment. Then my gaze fell on Ahaan who as usual is giving me his signature teasing smirk. I shook my head on seeing him and again concentrated on the view ahead of me. Mother Nature has so many treasures like this in hiding!

" Let's go to the campsite, guys! It's lunchtime", I said and soon we headed towards it.

Still, the questions swirling in my mind but I chose to shrug them off for now, as I have already thought a lot about those while coming here. I know what I have to do now but before that, I need to feed my food-deprived stomach. Abir, the food is calling you!!!!!!!!

6318 Words. Phewww!!!😅

So, how's it?🙄🤔

What's Abir is gonna do now? Do you think he crossed his limit? Why Mishti reacted that way? What will happen now?

To know more, wait and stay tuned...

Tell me, do you like those places? Everything is picked up from Pinterest except for the creek image and the campsite view. And that place mentioned in the last, the campsite one is actually a newly found place and the story behind it is true. Its name is Tapang. And that creek is actually a waterfall to be precise, just modified it for the sake of the plot. And that picture dates back to 2011 that's why it's kinda blurred, also it was taken from either a Nokia set or a Samsung Duos set. Hence, quality. But I like that place so included it.😅

I'm so sorry for being so late, yet again. Actually, when I started writing, it just went on and on and on. You can see it as well, it's so long. Like never-ending! I just don't realise when to stop. Huff! It will take one more part, I think, to get completed. So, please bear it with me...😅

The next part will be up soon.😉

I hope you all will like it. If yes, then please don't forget to vote and comment as well. I will love to read your thoughts and views on this. Inline comments are most welcome! I'm a beginner so any kind of advice from seniors and juniors is also most welcome. 🤗
