I'm back with another story. This will be a light-hearted one, unlike the previous story. Okay, I will not blabber more. Let's dive into the story.

Khairiyat pucho, kabhi toh kaifiyat pucho

Tumhare bin deewane ka kya haal hai....

I'm hearing this song on my iPod while sitting at my window seat in the compartment by closing my eyes and feeling the soothing breeze which is hitting my face. This song has recently caught my attention and I'm liking it very much. PONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN, the train honked. Dang!!! It's a horrible sound yaar. Huff! Nevermind. I guess the station is nearby. I should get ready to go out. I started taking out my luggage from beneath the seat and from the upper berth. It's a lot like a LOTTTTTTTT. Thanks to my family who ordered me to bring woollen items and nearly 10 kilograms of dry fruits from Jammu because their logic is: if I will get them then the items will be of good quality. Though the logic is true but carrying extra luggage sucks yaar. No, don't think that I get tired from carrying it, the reason is managing a lot of luggage isn't my cup of tea.  But I love to do these things for them, so this struggle is nothing in front of the smiles the family gives me especially my mother's smile. I wish I could stay with them but the nation comes first. While I was thinking all these the train came to a halt near the platform. I quickly got down along with my loads of luggage and started walking towards the exit.

'Yaatrigan kripya dhyaan Dein, Jammu se aane wali Jhelum express platform number 2 pe aa chuki hai...' the electronic voice announced while I exited from the said platform and started searching my family. Then suddenly I felt someone hugging me from behind with the warmth for which I was craving for since long. Yes, it's my Maa! I turned around and saw that tears are rolling down her cheeks but a content smile still etched on her face. I immediately took her into a bear hug and happy tears started rolling down from my eyes as well. We are meeting each other after a long time. She pulled away and started peppering a lot of Kisses on my face and again hugged me. I wiped off my tears and saw Papa behind Maa with glassy eyes while hugging her. I signalled him a no by shaking my head and he started blinking away the brimming tears. Fathers don't show their feelings but they do care and love their children like mothers.  After sometime composing myself I pulled away and wiped Maa's tear stricken face and said," Now I'm here so no more tears. Okay! Now please stop being Nirupa Roy and give me your beautiful Madhubala style smile. Come on! I need to meet Papa as well, Come on be fast." She smiled and slapped my arms saying," Badmash! Go meet him. When did I stop you? Han?" I placed a kiss on her forehead and then strode away towards Papa bending to get a blessing. He stopped me mid-way and took me into his embrace and mumbled," Welcome back Major!" smiling from ear to ear. I felt the proud father taking over the father who longed for his child, whom I saw a minutes ago. Pulling away we exchanged some talks about my journey and headed out of the station. The cab was already there and we got into it heading towards home.

I'm so happy to be back here to my family and my hometown Pune. A lot has changed here but the essence is still intact. Oops! I haven't introduced myself yet. Dang! In the happiness of meeting Maa and Papa, I completely forgot about it. Hey! I'm Major Sushant Rathore, posted in Udhampur Sector of J&K. And for the time being, I'm on holiday now so no more work talks. No, don't think that I'm that type of strict and grumpy Major as shown in Bollywood films rather I'm a very happy go lucky guy full of love for the country. I'm a person full of drama and nonsensical talks when I'm off duty. You will get to see that don't worry. We are now heading towards home and I'm pretty much excited to surprise my little sister Shruti as I have informed only my parents about my arrival. I'm gonna scare the daylights out of her. Hahahahahaha *laughing evilly*

Soon we reached our home and the only love of my life appeared in front of me. Ufff! The beauty is still intact and I couldn't help and started adoring that. Awww! Maa has taken good care of them after me. That's so sweet. Oh, wait! Don't think it's someone. Yeah, it's my first love because I fell for it at the very first sight due to its beauty. It's weird but I love these FLOWERS. Yes, it's the most beautiful flower FUCHSIA. The colour of it is so vibrant and lovely that I liked it instantly when I first saw it and had planted it in our garden the very next day. Surprisingly with a little gardening experience back then, I managed to take good care of it at the age of 15. From that day till the day I left for my job, I looked after it. It's crazy but the attraction towards it is something I can't explain. Before leaving I had given its responsibility to my mother and I must say she has done an excellent job. They are looking just perfect. My lovelies.

 I was adoring it when someone shrieked loudly," Bhaiya! God, you're here?" I turned around and Shruti ran towards me, finally engulfing me in a bear hug. Aww, my sweetie! She pulled away started again,'' I'm so so so soooo happy to see you here. You know I was missing you so badly yesterday and see you are today in front of me. Oh, wait! You were coming here and no one told me, not even you " happily and then when the realisation dawned upon her she started complaining. Finally, after hearing her rant on how we(me, Maa and Papa) have disappointed her, I stopped her saying," STOP! God, you haven't changed yet. Not even an ounce. It was MY idea of not telling you about my arrival so that I could surprise you, Angry young woman! Shutli Bomb now please calm down" keeping my palms on her mouth and then ran away from her after teasing her. She started chasing me and we again became little kids. When we got tired we stopped & after getting an earful from our mother we both stepped inside the house. Ahhhh, how I missed these? And finally, I'm here though for a short time. 

Two days passed by in spending quality time with family, taking care and adoring Fuschia(my fav job), catching up with friends and relatives. I'm having a gala time here. Maa is pampering me with my fav dishes, Papa and I always get engaged in talks related to work, news, etc & teasing Shruti is, of course, my right so I'm always doing that. Recently I have managed to get into contact with all my close friends and even hung out with them yesterday at our fav restaurant. One of my good friend Akash is getting married this week and he had invited our gang there, of course, he was bound or else we would have killed him by our deadly taunts. Hahaha. I'm gonna attend it, after all, it's a good chance to meet other friends whom I've failed to meet with. The next day was Sunday, our gang shopped together our outfits for the wedding because Akash had strictly warned us to come well suited up in his wedding, so I convinced others to make it a Boys day out which ended with a movie and later on dinner at a highway-side Dhaba. They all were meeting me after so long that it just took a puppy face of mine to convince all of them to do all the craziness which we used to do in our teenage years. Though we have now grown up adults still the level of craziness is the same. And a special mention to Lakshya, my best buddy who helped me throughout in convincing others. Yes, he's my best friend and with him, I can do any level of madness. We had a special record of doing stuff whose list is so long that if I'll try to tell all of them then it would take a whole another story and also somethings can't be said publicly.  ;)

Then the next four days passed in a jiffy. The D-day of Akash's wedding is here. We all were so excited that we reached there before time all suited up. You must be thinking that don't my gang have any work that they turned up so early. The thing is I have forced them all to take half day leave so that we could attend the wedding early and tease Akash now and then, of course, Lakshya is my partner in crime. Hehehe! 

After some teasing session, the Baarat was ready to leave for the venue of the wedding. It's a typical big fat Indian wedding so all sorts of grandeur were there in the Baarat. There are uncles, aunts, cousins and many more people present in the best of their outfits, ready to own up the road as their stage. Our gang was all ready to rock the dance floor....errr...road. Soon after the rituals, we left for the venue. I danced a lot along with my gang. We all enjoyed to the fullest, dancing our heart out on the road on different peppy baraati songs with many weird and self-invented steps. In between, we even dragged Akash down the mare and made him dance with us. We soon reached the venue but still we all baraatis went on dancing. But then elders asked to stop so that the rituals can be done and we obliged. 

I and my gang were getting bored as the rituals were conducted. We all were just looking here and there on the decorations and suddenly my eyes fell on a certain thing which I love the most. Yes, it's Fuchsia, there were a number of them decorated on the inner path which led the way into the mandap from the gate. The sight was looking so gorgeous because of them and I must say the decision of using them here is just awesome. I was adoring the vibrant colour when my eyes again fell on something which immediately caught my attention.

 A girl is there standing a little behind the crowd with such a bright smile and sparkling eyes, adorning my fav colour and is looking heavenly gorgeous. Hayeee! She is looking like a goddess. The light shaded Fuchsia coloured lehenga is fitting perfectly to her figure and I think the colour is just made for her. She has sparkling eyes, perfectly shaped nose, full lips all in all a perfectly pretty face. She has adorned an elegant make-up with a simple yet attractive hair-do.In short, she is looking damn gorgeous with that Fuschia colour on her. Maybe my attention went upon her due to the colour but it was worth it. I'm feeling a great pull towards her.

I was busy gawking at my Fuchsia lady when Lakshya snapped me out of my trance saying," If you're done with your drooling job then can we proceed inside Major?" with a teasing smile while my gang burst into peals of laughter. I turned around and saw that the rituals have got over and all are getting inside. I started, "Guys you know...." when Lakshya interrupted me," Yeap we know about your Fuchsia love but this time it wasn't that. You were drooling over that girl and we all have witnessed that Major" saying loudly and then uttered the last line in a low voice so that only our gang could hear that. All of them are giving me their best of teasing smiles and I was left tongue-tied. Then suddenly they all screamed together, "Bhabhi mil Gayi!" and every other person present gave us the weirdest glance ever possible. Akash knew already what must have transpired among us so didn't say anything and started giving me the teasing smile while his dad asked us what happened. So Lakshya covered up by saying we were talking about Akash's bride as she is gonna be our bhabhi na. And he bought that lie. Thank God! After he left, I glared towards my gang who are still busy passing remarks on me in a hushed tone. Friends I tell you...Urghhh...Every friend is a devil in the garb of an angel. Huh! I chided them in my strict Major tone, "If my leg-pulling is over then can we now proceed?" and it worked leaving me baffled. Umm...so this works pretty well. Niceeeee. I turned back to get a glimpse of that girl but couldn't find her. Meanwhile, Lakshya came beside me and said, " Bro she has already gone inside. And yeah for your kind information when we were busy pulling your leg she has witnessed all that and went away with a small smile on her face. So what's your next move?Hmm?" and all of them again burst into peals of laughter. They are not gonna leave me in peace now. Shit! I just glared again and soon the laughter died down as we got inside. But I felt something in my stomach on hearing the fact that she smiled at our exchange and especially me. This is gonna be a memorable day.

We got settled down there near Akash and were chit-chatting with some refreshments served to us. But my eyes are just searching my Fuchsia Lady! Still, I pretended that I'm very much into the teasings and talks going on there. God, please bring that girl to me or at least take me to her. I need to see her, partner. Please! 

And the next second my wish got fulfilled. There she was walking towards us where we all are seated with Akash, with other girls having something in a tray. She's the epitome of Grace. The way she walks, the way her earrings are kissing her cheeks frequently, the mischievous yet beautiful smile playing on her lips, the perfectly kohled and lined twinkling eyes, and every damn thing about her which I can't even mention is exquisitely alluring. I'm falling short of words to describe her beauty. And to add on that, the bewitching Fuchsia colour which has captured me since long is looking so perfect upon her, as if the colour was just on this earth for her to adorn. Her wheatish complexion is a perfect contrast to the colour. You may think I'm exaggerating but trust me everything is for real. Uff!

Meanwhile, the girl's gang have already reached us. They directly approached Akash saying that they have got some special refreshment for Akash. I'm just focusing on that girl but she hadn't uttered a single syllable till now, she is just smiling. Umm, I want to hear her, partner, please. To my surprise, the very next moment she said," Akash jiju, you have to eat something or else this fav Saali of yours will get upset" with a puppy face. Her voice is so lovely and sweet. Our boys' gang then started warning Akash to not eat anything as this might be some plan and how can I miss the chance to interact with her, so I immediately jumped in front of her and said," Miss, I know you are Akash's Saali but we all are his friends. And we know that you girls have something up in your sleeves, about which we are unaware. So, we won't let you proceed" with swag. She retorted," Are you blind?" and I denied. "Then can't you see we all are in traditional outfits and there are no sleeves?" she said by fluttering her eyes and all the girls started laughing. She's so cute. Oh Crap! Sushant hold on. There's a task at hand, focus man. She again stated," And about eating, let Jiju decide whether he wants to or not. Jiju?" gazing at Akash with a questioning look. To which Akash pleaded through his eyes to us to let him eat. Urghhh! This guy is an ice-cream! So, I again faced her and said," Okay we will let you..." and instantly her face lighted up with a mischievous smile," But...Only after YOU taste it first otherwise he will not eat them. Simple. Think before taking your decision", I continued and ended up by giving her a smirk. She got nervous and so was the state of other girls. So, I was right they have some plan. Hmm, no one can slip away from Major Sushant's eyes. I repeat no one!

My gang agreed with me and made Akash agree as well. I internally patted my back for my intelligence when she said," Okay we are ready", with a determined look. Oh, so she wanna play along. Okay! I'm ready. At least I interacted with her, which is enough for me. She turned back forwarding the tray to one of her gang members to eat and I instantly interrupted," Hey! Miss....? Name?"Now I will know her name. Yes! She turned and said," Ankita" with a questioning look. Ahaan ANKITA, nice name. Suits her as well. I started, "Okay. So Ankita, for your clarification I told YOU to eat not her. After all, you're the first Saali of Akash among all of you" pointing her, she retorted," But..." and I said," No ifs and buts, I clearly stated these and you have already agreed. So, you can't back out now!" shrugging. She then pleaded Akash to interfere but my boys didn't let him. Ah, my Tigers! I'm proud of you all! Getting no ways she nodded, got back the tray and started eating with a straight face. The faces of other girls are full of tension. I wanted to know to what extent she can go to prove herself so I'm doing this.

 In some time, she tasted all the things kept on the tray and there was no sign of any discomfort. But how????? So getting no choice I let her give the tray to Akash and he started eating while she immediately left the place. Crap! How come nothing happened? My instincts can't be wrong. No way! There's something Fishy...

While I was thinking about what happened a few moments ago, I heard coughing sound and instantly turned back only to witness Akash gasping for water. Oh, now I got it. Shit! I should have eaten that by myself. The food was filled with spices and chillies! Lord! My gang immediately tended to Akash and the girls' gang were having a gala time laughing. But soon they gave him some sweets and Akash gobbled up it which gave him some relief. Then all left the place. My gang is right now shooting daggers at me along with Akash for ending up in the losing side despite my stupid tashan. I smiled weakly and they started cursing me in hushed tones. I accepted all that because I know I was at fault for not gorging into the matter fully and ended up making mockery in front of the girls' gang. Then I promised them that I won't repeat this especially in 'Joota Churayi' ritual. They agreed but with a condition that we all will work as a team and I will not jump in between alone. Hearing our talks, Akash laughed out loud and said," Guys! Do anything but you can't defeat Ankita. I know her she's a tough nut. It won't be easy to tackle her. She's a tigress. You all have already seen the trailer. I don't think I need to say much about her". Then Lakshya retorted," Hmm maybe your Saali is a tigress but we also have Major Sushant with us, who is a tiger himself. Right?" and I nodded. I said," This time it won't be the same" with a firm determined voice. All cheered up for me and Akash shook his head laughing. 

I have accepted the challenge. But the main reason behind this is not some petty revenge game. It's the attraction towards Fuchsia lady oops... Ankita, that has made me take up this as a challenge. The intention is not revenge, its the wish to know more about her. The pull I'm feeling is not the feeling of love, of course, I know that. But it's just little less than that. This is an attraction and more prominently Infatuation! And I guess I know the reason behind it. It's again my Fuchsia love which is dragging me towards her. And also her aura which is so magnificent and alluring. She ate all of that super spicy food which Akash couldn't eat and that too with a straight face without an ounce of discomfort in her features. Lord! She's something else. Wait! Where's she now? She had left long before her gang. I need to find her to see whether she's fine. I excused myself from my gang and went away in search of my new found Fuchsia: Ankita......
