Rainbow and Light trudged across the sandy desert, tired, hungry, and annoyed to pieces with each other. "For the last time, Rainbow, we need shelter!" Light, the voice of reason called, "its getting to be sunset and if we don't have a place to sleep we won't make it through the night."

Rainbow in turn gritted his teeth. "There's nowhere to stop, Light. We've been traveling for hours and there's no turning back, not with Nightmare on our trail." He snapped, hugging himself. Light clenched his fists. "Can't we at least dig a hole or something? I don't wanna be eaten alive by whatever monstrosities are out here, and we're both too weak to use our powers."

Rainbow sighed, his tense form slumping. "Fine, get the shovel from the backpack." He grumbled. Light did so and began to dig a trench into the sand to hopefully protect the duo for the night as Rainbow kept an eye out for any hostilities. The colorful figure paused as he looked off to the west. "Light? There's something over there." He said, Light poking his head out of the trench with a "hm?" Rainbow pointed. "Look that way! I see.. I dunno what it is, but it's something!"

Light climbed out of the trench. "Well, let's go over there then before night falls." He stated, in which Rainbow answered with a "race you!"

The duo soon reached what Rainbow had previously spotted, marveling in awe at the giant cobblestone structure that laid in ruins, covered by decades worth of plant growth. "Well, Light, looks like we found your shelter." Rainbow breathed, his head tilted up towards the huge spires that loomed in the evening sun. Rainbow dropped the backpack on the cobbled ground and began to walk, a smile spreading across his face. Light grabbed the backpack. "Rainbow, where are you going? We don't have to go further than these courtyards." Light said. Rainbow waved him off. "We don't have to go deeper, but I want to go deeper." He stated. Light scoffed in shock as he watched Rainbow disappear into the shadows of the castle. "Rainbow- wait!!" He called, running after his older brother.

Light caught up to Rainbow, the two continuing to walk. "Are you stupid? The structure could be unstable, there could be traps in here, there could be monsters!" He sputtered, throwing up his hands in frustration. "Chill out, Light. I'm just exploring." Rainbow said, rolling his eyes. "If there's a monster, we turn and hightail it outta here, okay?" He reasoned, getting an exasperated sigh from Light. There was no stopping Rainbow now.

The brothers walked in silence along the dark halls, barely being able to see by the beams of light coming in through the cracked walls. They turned a corner, and much to Light's dismay, there was a huge throne room, eerily lit with blue torches, which held what looked like a casket in the center.

"Rainbow, no." Light ordered sternly, "There's a dead person in there. We are not opening it." But Rainbow didn't listen, a smile spreading across his face as he approached the ceremonial box. "This place is super old, right? This thing could hold bones for taming a wolf!" He exclaimed. "Rainbow, don't you dare open that cursed looking-" "Too late!" Rainbow pushed the lid off the casket, which slid off and landed with a loud crash onto the floor.

Suddenly, a bright blue flash went off from the casket, causing Rainbow to stumble back in shock and Light to shield his face. Rainbow rushed to hide behind Light, who sent a glare at the older. "Are you stupid!? This place is haunted, look what you just di-" the Steve was interrupted as Rainbow grabbed and shushed him. "Look.." He mumbled, pointing. Light looked, his eyes widening as some sort of hairy monster began to rise from the casket. The thing let out a loud groan, causing Rainbow and Light to scream. "ZOMBIE!!" Rainbow screamed, as Light yelled "I CANT BELIEVE YOU JUST WOKE UP A CURSED ZOMBIE!!"

The two hugged each other and screamed as the monster looked around in alarm, before brushing its long locks out of its face. It was tall, pale, and humanoid, white and black clothing covering its body. Its hands were fair and its eyes were different colors, it had a smooth jawline and slight stubble. "Wh-" the creature began, only to start coughing. It keeled over and covered its mouth before standing upright again. "Where's the threat?" It rasped.

Rainbow and Light had stopped screaming by now, both very tense as they stared at the thing in shock. "What the heck did you do.." Light whispered, in which Rainbow responded with a shrug. The thing stared at the two. "Who let little kids into the throne room..?" It mumbled, which immediately set Rainbow off. "Little- LITTLE KIDS!? IM WELL OVER A BLOCK AND A HALF AND-" "Rainbow, shush-! You might anger it, it looks strong!" Light interrupted, grabbing his brother's arm.

"It? I'm not- wait.. what happened to the castle!?" It exclaimed, stepping out from the casket. The thing's long hair trailed behind it as it stumbled across the cobbled floor. "It looks-" "Ruined." Light finished. "Now that I'm thinking about it, this looks like the Castle of the Creators.." "The what now?" Rainbow asked, looking to his little brother.

"It's what this place is called. I read about it when we were in that sanctuary before Nightmare sent Dark to destroy it. The book said no one would dare to go in it, that it would destroy anyone who entered due to the strong field of magic around it." He explained. Rainbow looked that the thing. "Then why is that thing here? And how did we get in!?" He asked. "The book said the Castle held many magical secrets.. that thing must be one of them, and the magical field probably weakened over time."

"Okay, hold up. I have a name, y'know. And I'm not a 'thing'." The creature interrupted, offended. "My name is Sabre, and I'm the youngest prince of the Saga lands. Also what do you mean, ruins!? This place was fine just yesterday!" Rainbow glanced to Light, cringing a bit. "He's been asleep for probably well over thousands of years hasn't he." "Yep." "WHAT!?"
