After the safe opened a bunch of papers popped out and a bracelet. Just my luck all the papers were in a secret code. I slipped on the bracelet, and it immediately felt comfortable on my wrist. Also, with my amazing luck I had no living family or so I had thought when I was in second grade. Having no family means foster homes. I was stuck in those for about 6 years and my cat came with me (yes I still had my bracelet). I also have built many different and useful things while tinkering. I kept my grades up but also occasionally running away or getting in trouble. In all my spare time I was figuring out what the documents said until one day. This was the first home I liked. I walked in through the red door of the two-story light blue house. 

"Hi Daniella" I said to my foster mom. 

"Hi sweetie" She said in her kind voice "How was school?" 

"Good" I replied. 

I walked up the stairs and set my bag down in my room then continued down the long hallway to the playroom. "Hi Danny, Hi Lydia!" I said to the twins as I walked into the room. 

"Aswey! (Ashley)" Lydia said as she ran over. 

"Yay yowr back!" Danny said as he clung onto my leg. 

"Pway wif us?" Lydia said. 

"I need to do homework then I'll play with you ok?" I said to both of them. 

"Otay" Dan said as he ran back over to play with his toys.

I walked back to my room and started on my homework I breezed through all my homework the easiest was my collage leveled coursed homework it was too easy (yes, I'm that smart). I then got to decoding the many documents that I had been working on for the past 6 years. 

"Yes!" I said. I had finally cracked the code!

 There were so many documents that had to be decoded so I got to work on them. After a while of decoding, I stopped to play with my younger brother and sister. After a I finished playing with Lydia and Daniel, I finished decoding the documents. Though only one, that look newer than the others did not line up with the decoder I had made. So, now that would also keep my hands busy. They all had useful information on many things. I scanned through all the documents until I saw my name. It was on a light tan page that looked like it had been looked at many times. I scanned the page until I saw the word powers. 

The section said, "Earth manipulation, fire manipulation, water manipulation, wind manipulation and energy manipulation." It had some tips on how to harness them like just focusing on the space between and pushing out and focusing on what you want to do. Every day after that I would go into the woods in the backyard. I came across a beautiful landscape with bright pink flowers and baby blue flowers. The grass was nice and soft underneath my feet. Boulders surrounded two running clear water rushing waterfalls. That's where I went to practice my powers.
