You're playing my game now - One Shot
'You're playing my game now', she whispered into his ear as she walked past him.
'W-What do you mean?' he asked, she could hear in his voice he tried to sound confident.
She smiled as she leaned over his shoulder. She threw her raven black hair over her right shoulder and looked at him from the corner of her eye.
'Oh you know what I mean', she whispered.
She brushed with her fingers over his face right before she stood. She had played his game long enough, it was her turn now.
'Now', she said walking away from him, her heels ticking on the ground. 'We both know no one expects an angel to set the world on fire, but we both know I'm not an angel anymore. Thanks to you.'
'I-I don't understand', he said in a whisper, it was so soft she could barely hear it.
'We both know you do', she said as she looked him in the eye.
She knelt down before him, so she could look at him. He, who made her to the person she was now, the person she despised but loved all the same. She would never forgive him for all he had done for her, but the least he could do now was help her, gain back what she deserved, what rightfully was hers.
'You're our of your mind!' he shouted, suddenly very confident of himself. 'You can't see what's right in front of you, the truth. This is his kingdom now, you're no longer a queen. And there's nothing I can do to change that.'
'Now now', she said as she laid her hand on his face, digging her fingernails deep into his skin. 'Why would you say that? You know what I can do to you.'
She looked at him and saw the fear in his eyes, she knew he tried to hide it. He always did, but she knew him through and through, maybe even better than he knew himself.
'You wouldn't', he hissed.
She shook her head and moved her lips towards his ear.
'There's nothing I wouldn't do anymore.'
'What happened to you?' he asked.
She lift her hand and turned around, she walked just a couple of steps away from him. Her heels ticked on the floor. In her head she had wanted to do so much, to achieve so much and be good for her people. But now he was on the throne, she despised him, just like she despised the person she had become.
'You did', she replied sternly.
She needed to think. Too much had happened, she had lost too much.
'You will help me', she stated as she turned on her heel. 'And if you don't, you will feel my wrath. I'll let you think.'
