My best friend just called to ask me what color he should wear for prom and I was like "um?? Idk??" and he goes "well we have to match, so like what color is your dress??" but he never asked me to go so I was kinda confused so I told him "hey, yeah since when are we going to prom??" and the line goes silent for a bit and he very quietly whispers "shit. I forgot to ask you"

A/N: On with the story

Jungkook and I have been best friends for a while now; we have been friends since diapers. But I have a secret, I really like him, and prom is coming up, so like a basic bitch, I'm hoping he will ask me, but I don't think he thinks of me like that. But a boy can hope right?

Whether he ask me, or he doesn't, I'm still going with our friend group. Last weekend Jin, Jimin, and I all went dress shopping and picked out our dresses.

I was so excited and I know the others are too. I was at home watching a movie snuggled under a blanket, I got a phone call though and answered the call after I saw the contact name "Kookie <3"

"Hey kook, what's up?"

"Nothing much beautiful" He just called me beautiful, what? "but I have a question" What was he going to ask? My mind was blanking about the prom. I assumed he was buttering me up with the nicknames, because he needed me to bail him out. I guess I didn't mention that we are the 'bad boys' at school, so that has happend a couple of times. 

"You there Tae?"

"Oh yeah, so what was your question?"

"Well, I was wondering what color your dress was?" 

Why would he want to know about the color of my dress? I decided to voice my opinions, "Um? I don't know? Why?"

"Well we have to match, so what color is your dress?"

Again, why would he want to know? I was still confused, "Um...since when are WE going to prom?" I expected some sort of answer back like 'WE aren't, but you have no one else to match with...so...' 

I waited a bit, expecting an answer, but the line was still dead. 

Then I heard from the other side of the line a quiet, "Shit. I forgot to ask you." He must have thought I couldn't hear him though, because he just went on talking. "hahaha...is their a chance I could come over...like right now?"

"Why are you asking? You usually just come over whenever you want?"

He replied, "Well I want to make sure you'll be decent"

"Jungkook, we've been friends our entire lives, you've seen me naked before. Why do you care if I'm naked?"

"Oh yeah...right. Well I'm coming over in half an hour."

"Ok.. see you then" I hung up the phone, and decided to make lunch for Kookie and me; because knowing him, he hasn't eaten anything today. I made BLT's and opened a bag of chips. When I finish I brought them to the living room and grabbed a couple soda's. Also knowing Jungkook, he always stays for a while whenever he comes over, so I went to grab some blankets. But as I was making my way upstairs the doorbell rang so I went back down the stairs and opened the door.

There I saw Jungkook holding a sign and a singular red rose which he handed to make. 

I started to read the sign, when I finished I looked up at the other, who looked at me questioningly. I noded and flung myself into his arms, jumping up and wrapping my arms around his waist. He was quick to toss the sign aside grab my thighs to hold me up. 

He looked down at me, "Look at me please, beautiful" I looked up at and he let out an 'ah' I quickly tucked my head into his neck again. "ah, is my pretty baby boy embarrassed?"

"What baby boy?" I said with a smile "'cause no ones asked me to be their baby boy, so it surly can't be me."

Jungkook let out a little chuckle. "Fine, if that's how you want to play it, Taehyung will you be my baby boy and I can be your da-" he started with a smirk. I stopped him quickly by slapping a hand over his mouth 

He looked very surprised. "Yes I will, but only if you never call yourself that again." 

He smirked again, "As you wish"

I rolled my eyes, "Can we go inside now?"

"As you wish"

"Is this your way of subtly bringing up the fact that you want you want to watch Princess Bride? Well if we going inside we can, and I made us sandwiches."

"As you wish"

"Don't make me regret my answer, it's only been what? 3 minutes? That's got to be some record" Jungkook playfully growled and then walked inside with me still clinging onto him like a koala. 

When we got in the house he went to the living room and put me down. 

"I'll go get some blankets, it you get the movie ready"

"As you w-"

"Jungkook" I said in warning tone

He rolled his eyes and laughed, "Okay, I'll stop."

I went upstairs and opened the closet door, only to be knocked over as a pile of blankets fell on me. "Help, someone help" I said while laughing.
Jungkook ran up the stairs and laughed seeing the other under a pile of blankets

"can't...breath...need...oxygen...and cuddles" I said jokingly. I soon felt myself being picked up by a laughing Jungkook. 

They spent the rest of the day cuddling and watching movies. They watched Princess Bride, and then by my request, we watched Heathers, because it's a classic. And then Jungkook surprised me yet again, and told me to sign into his VUDU account. When I did he grabbed the remote and put on the new Harley Quinn movie. I was so happy. He said he bought it this morning and was actually going to see if I wanted to watch it later tonight. 

We spent the night movie looking while eating popcorn. And sometimes during one of the movies, Jungkook ordered a pizza without telling me. So we ate the pizza and watched movies until we fell asleep. That following weekend we went to prom and had lots of fun.

A/N: Hoseok's has a light blue like Jimin's dress instead of the red. 

After the prom we went to our favorite hideout, and because we are the 'bad boys' of course it was stocked with a alcohol, so we spent the rest of the night drinking and having fun as our group of 7. The day after, we looked through our photos and just had a soft day with movies and cuddles with our significant other(s).
