I was sitting in class while my chemistry teacher droned on and on about her personal life. I looked around the classroom and saw a few people silently talking to friends, others had their phones out. I looked over to him, he was reading a book, always the unconventional one. I sat there zoning out and basically planning my make believe future with him, because thats what one does when they are bored. I look over at them again, I see a huge grin on his face, "What happened in the book that made him smile like that?" I wonder. That thought made me think to books I've read in the past, I remember there was this one book were this one girl was able to read minds, I laughed at the thought.

I decided to try that, I mean it wouldn't hurt. "Wouldn't it be funny if someone reacted?" I chuckle to myself. I shouted in my mind the first thing I could think of:

"I HATE CHEMISTRY!!!!" I looked around while screaming this in my mind, I was surprised when I saw him flinch. "It's just a coincidence" I thought, I tried it again, saying something so I could see if it was true or not, "If you can read my mind....um...clap your hands" I thought that nothing would happen. I looked around the classroom again, and saw him look at me dead in the eyes and clap his hands. I blushed and my eyes went wide, he chuckled and then pointed to the door. I cocked my eyebrow, wondering what he meant. I then heard his voice in my head, "Imma excuse myself to the bathroom, a few minutes after excuse yourself as well, and meet me in the abandoned language arts classroom" I nodded. Not a minute later he excused himself. I sat in my seat, I felt restless. I then heard his voice again, "Where are you? You're not too shy are you?" I heard his laugh at the end. I tried to see if I could talk to him through whatever this was, "Can you hear me?" I asked, I heard a grunt in response. I quickly got up and excused myself, making my way to the classroom he was talking about.
