Dedicated to @Out0fMyHead for the ship I would never have put together. Your short Run Away (even though they were not the main characters) with that pair this story came about.

This will be a two part story. You will see why as the story progresses.

Luna Lovegood and Harry Potter were sitting across from one another in the Great Hall just talking. Luna loved Harry, as a friend, confidante, and brother. She trusted him with her life and her secrets. He was the only one who knew. He knew who she was head over heels in love with.

As they sat there talking about the ones they loved a magnificent Eagle Owl swept in. It landed between the two and stood proudly waiting for it to be released of the letters it was delivering. One to Luna. One to Harry.

Luna's letter~
(All letter will be written in italics)

My Beautiful Luna,

For years now I have seen you grow into such an amazing woman. In the beginning I just couldn't understand my feeling for you. So I watched, became your friend, and learned that you are such a piece of art.

In those beginning years I fought my feelings. I just didn't understand them. I was young and silly. So when I spoke to a good friend of mine about my feelings he told me I was in love.

It scared me. In love? Could it really be? I pushed the thoughts to the back of my head. Ready to bury them. I couldn't. Each time I saw you they raced to the front to remind me of those thoughts and words.

I was in love. I was in love with Luna Lovegood.

In time I will tell you who I am. You should know by the end of the day. I will be waiting for you. I just hope your feelings will be the same for me.

This will be a scavenger hunt. There will be a new clue at each point. There will be 5 clues until me. The 6th clue will be the answer to a spell to reveal me. If you guess who I am and you have pure intentions I will be revealed. If you guess but my feelings are not matched I will not be. That is to save me from hurting and you from hurting someone. Because I know that you would never truly hurt someone.

Here is your first clue....

Go where Harry saved not 1 but 2 people his fourth year. Under the Beachwood Tree you will find your next clue.

Luna looked at Harry who seemed to be lost in his own letter, and then looked down at her again.

"Harry?" Luna asked while gently touching his arm.

Harry jerked his head up "It is a letter asking me to go on a scavenger hunt. To find the one who loves me."

"As is mine." Luna smiled

"Are you going to go find them?" Harry asked

"Yes. Here is to hoping that it is the one I truly love." She said with a glowing smile.

"Oh Luna, I hope the same for both of us." Harry said words growing in excitement laced with some fear.

"Good luck Harry Potter." Said Luna in her dreamy voice as she watched him walk out of the Great Hall.

"Good luck to you Luna." Harry yelled back as he disappeared through the huge doors.

Luna skipped to the Black Lake and found the Beach Tree. Under the tree was was a note and a beautiful crown of flowers. In the crown Luna noticed Butterbeer corks weaved throughout.

My Stargazer,

A beautiful crown for a beautiful lady. I made sure that there was butterbeer cork throughout. I would hate to have Nargles distract you from this hunt.

Your next clue....

Go to where you gaze at the stars and hang your feet over the edge. The first time I saw you there you took my breath away. The way your hair glowed in the moon light was unworldly. You reminded me of a heavenly angel.

This time Luna strolled through the castle grounds. She felt beautiful with her crown on. Her head also was no longer fuzzy. Grinning she knew the butter beer corks were working on keeping the Nargles away.

On her way up to the Astronomy tower she ran into Harry who was on his way down.

"Having fun Harry?" She asked with a wink.

"Oh yes. I just hope I am not disappointed." He said shyly.

"Here Harry." Luna said handing him a butter beer cork. "Your head is buzzing. Maybe this will clear your thoughts. I suspect Nargles are at play."

"Thank you Luna." Harry said as he ran down the stairs.

"Your wish will come true Harry." She said smiling.

Luna continued up the stairs to the place to stargaze. Next to her favorite window was a note and a single Sunflower.

My Flower,

I remebered once you saying that your favorite flower was the Sunflower. This one is magic. It will never wilt, it will never die. So even if we are not ment to be I will know I have givin you something to last a lifetime.

Your next clue.....

Head to the beautiful but dark place. The place where we learned that seeing death can bring about new friends.

Luna ran to the Forbidden Forest. Excited to see the Thestrals. Some of them just had babies and she had yet to see them.

Slowing down she came up to their territory. Even though they are loyal to Luna knowing she is a friend. She still respects their area.

Once they have familiarized themselves to Luna a new foal stumbled up to her with a new necklace and another note. Once she feed the young one some raw beef she sat against a tree and read her next clue.

My Dreamer

The way you look at life always makes me smile. They way you see the good in all. I hope that you can teach me that way. I am still so bitter about all that has happened. You though, even though you have lost you still love. I am learning and my heart has opened to you.

The necklace has multiple chrams on it. So even if I am not around you are still protected.

Your next clue....

Go to the place people fly. I love it when your wear your Lion Hat when Gryffindor played against anyone but Ravenclaw.

Luna started skipping towards the Quidditch pitch. She always enjoyed this part of the grounds. It was a great place to look at the surrounding areas. You were so high up in the top towers. She loved to sit up there and watch the world around her.

When she got to the pitch there was a spot in the tallest part of the Ravenclaw bleachers. It was glowing a magnificent blue.

Luna made her way up to the tower. A smile graced her lips when she saw what was there. Once again a note but also one of the original copies of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander. It even had his autograph. She was giddy with so much joy.

My Queen

I hope you enjoy the book. I know how much you admire the author and I was lucky enough to win this off a mutual friend of ours.

'Hmmmm" Luna thought. If I remember correctly Draco had a something like this. He also likes to play Black Jack once he learned the muggle card game. Apparently someone beat him and got this book. To bad he plays cards with anyone willing to play. Really doesn't narrow the field down of who this person could be.

She continued with the clue.

I hope one day you can read it to me. Your voice is so soothing and beautiful to hear.

Go to the room we learned how to fight off Dementors. My happy thought was you. Think a place to love.

Luna was getting excited. Her heart was hoping she would see that special person who had her heart.

This person has held her heart for 2 years now. Though she didn't think they knew but she could only wish they felt the same way too.

She got to the Room of Requirement and passed the wall three times thinking a place to love.

The door appeared and Luna slowly walked in. The door silently closing behind her.

In the middle of the room was a small wooden table with just a single note. Walking to it Luna picks it up and starts to read it.

Luna,

Your final clue, to see who I am. I am hoping I get to see your blue eyes filled with love for me. It would be my dream come true.

If you don't feel the same please do not worry. I want you happy and if it is not me that will do that, I will be happy with who ever does. I know it is so cliché but it is true.

I play Quidditch, I have red hair and my Bat-Bogey Hex is feared.

"Ginny?" Luna whispered. Hope in her voice, and love shining in her eyes.

A shimmer started in a spot in front of her. Slowly she could see the curves of Ginny Weasley forming in before her.

Ginny's back was towards her. Her red hair falling down her back long and full. A black sweater around her shoulders framing the hair. Her hips perfectly formed in her faded jeans.

Luna took two steps towards her and placed her delicate hand on hers.

"Please look at me." Luna spoke. "I want to see your beautiful face."

Ginny slowly turned towards Luna. Scared at what she would see. Even though she knew the charm would not show her if the feeling she had were not returned. It still scared her that Luna would not see her the same way.

"Look at me Ginny." Luna whispered "I want to look in your eyes when I say this."

"Say what Luna?" Ginny asked finally looking at her.

"You, my red haired vixen have had my heart for two years now. Seeing you here is a dream come true." Luna told her.

"Really?" Ginny stuttered

"Yes really." Luna giggled

"Can I kiss you?" Ginny asked shyly.

"Please." Luna breathed

Ginny leaned in and met Luna's lips with hers. It was glorious. Ginny's heart soared. Wrapping her arms around Luna she pulled the smaller girl in and deepened the kiss.

Luna moaned as she gripped Ginny's hair in her hands. She couldn't get enough of the silk feeling running through her fingers.

Breathless Ginny pulled away and smiled at Luna.

"Forever your." Ginny said as she smilled at her blonde haired beauty.

"Forever yours." Luna replyed back before going in for another kiss.
