Stay (FNAF)
Amber stared up at the ceiling. She was on her deathbed. She knew that. It was hard not to know that. Almost a hundred years of doing things for other people. She had lost track of when she did this. She gave up everything but her life for someone else.
Her freedom for her father, her peace of mind for Henry, her family for Freddy's, and her soul for all the lost ones to move on. They didn't have one when she came to free them. Now they do. They all have her soul. She was empty, just a shell. She barely noticed it though besides the empty feeling she had.
She sighed and closed her eyes. She wondered what it would be like to not pass on. Her family and those children could tell you. She couldn't. She felt her last breath and her last beat of heart. She didn't think that was normal.
When she opened her eyes she was at Freddy's. She sighed, looking at all the children running around. She knew if she tried to talk to them she wouldn't get a response. She looked around, wondering what she was supposed to do. She looked at the animatronics, sighing a bit. She guessed she needed to follow traditions. Wouldn't be Freddy's without someone controlling one of those damn robots. She didn't want one of the main ones. That seemed like a huge deal she wasn't ready for. She looked at the series. She didn't use the toy ones so Balloon Boy was out of the question. Hell she didn't even like the damn thing.
No Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, or Foxy's. She didn't want that issue to come up. No Funtime series since she hated them after what they did to her sister. Maybe the-
She blinked, looking at the Marionette. This thing caused everyone so much trouble. It used to belong to her friend Daisy who gave the children life with this... Amber couldn't tell you what it was. It wasn't really an animatronic but it wasn't a puppet either. It was kind of just... there. She knew that no one bugged it. Only children did. Plus... well she could easily keep children safe with it. She didn't want any more children to die. She decided which one to use.
She smiled has she looked at the world with new eyes. Maybe staying wouldn't be so bad. She could make the most out of it. She would have to.
After all this was going to be her life for the rest of eternity since no one was going to come to her rescue like she did for them. She gave up her greatest gift so they could go. They got to leave while she had to stay.
Fair trade, right?
