Best Friend's Husband to be.
I have spent the most romantic and fantasy kind of week with my boyfriend Ryan here on this beautiful island. It offers you a refreshing sandy beach and a lush green forest on a towering mountain. Ryan had a concert to perform on this island and he proposed the idea that if I could join him, we could have a long getaway that we had been trying to have for the past few months. However, due to our busy schedules, we were unable to make it.
I immediately said yes to his idea and here we are after spending a week that included a lot of sex along with island exploration and there was no worry about waking up early for work. Now we have woken up, and I am watching Ryan, who is getting back to his practice as he has his major event this evening.
Ryan kissed me and walked out of the room. I leaned back against the headboard and started thinking about what to do for the rest of the day alone. I didn't remember when was the last time we were this carefree, like last week. I wanted to stop Ryan from going to his practice and drag him with me into this cozy bed. But I didn't, as I knew he couldn't afford to waste a single moment today. I shook my head and shut off all depressing and gloomy thoughts from my mind.
I climbed out of bed and decided to take a long bubble bath to make myself happy and relaxed. I knew I had to spend a day alone so it would be on me, either with a smile on my face or the whole day buried in my thoughts and making myself more disheartened.
After coming out of the bath, I felt my shoulders light. I get myself ready to walk alongside the crashing waves on the beach. I wanted to say goodbye to this beautiful island by roaming around. Little did I know this was going to be the beginning of new chaos in my life.
When cold water touched my bare foot while walking on the beach, it sent a surge of adrenaline through my soul. In my thoughts, the sound of waves crashing was like a smooth melody. I was watching waves and had an epiphany: no matter what, everything has to end, just like waves. No matter how tumultuous the wave is, once it crashes on the beach, its thunder ends.
While walking and thinking about tons of things, my eyes landed on someone I would never expect to see on this island. Not because he has no resources to visit the island but because he is going to get married in two days with my best friend. At first, I thought it was a mistake. But when I got close, it was Max. He was looking off into the distance, lost in his thoughts. He didn't even notice my presence next to him until I cleared my throat and he looked at me. Max was as surprised as I was to see him on the beach.
Max smiled and shock was reflected in his tone. "Hey, Bree? What.... What are you doing here?"
I tucked my hair behind my ear. "I am here with Ryan."
Max looked around. "Where is he?"
I pointed at my hotel. "Actually, he is practicing for his event tonight."
I squinted. 'But what the hell are you doing here? You should be in a city engulfed in the preparation of your wedding."
Max tucked his hand in his jeans pockets. "Yesterday, I had my bachelor's here."
I tipped my head. "Bachelor's still going on?"
Max shook his head and sighed. "Everybody left but I wanted to stay here for a day."
I moved up one corner of my lip. "Ryan and I spent the last seven days here. This is heaven. Since morning, I have been dealing with inner turmoil."
Max raised his brows. "Inner turmoil? Is everything alright?"
I don't know why but I didn't hesitate to tell Max everything about my inner battles. From Ryan and my busy schedule to my current feelings of loneliness, he was listening to me, as if it were his problem. I mean, the focus and attention he gave me made me feel valued, and my problems seemed genuine to me. With a sympathetic nod, he acknowledged the weight of my concerns, his expression reflecting a genuine sense of empathy.
Our conversation flowed from my inner turmoil to his fears of getting into a new relationship. He wanted some time alone where he could think without any hindrance. He wanted to prepare himself for the new dynamics of his relationship.
I immediately turned to him. "Opzie, I am sorry. I had no intention to ruin your me time."
Max squinted. "What?"
I shot up my shoulders. "Yeah, you wanted to stay here to have some time alone to clear your head and I jumped right into it and ruined the tranquility of your thoughts."
Max chuckled and shook his head. "No, please, stay. I actually feel good talking to you."
My eyes widened. "Really?"
Max nodded. "Yeah, I am telling the truth. Why?"
I sighed. "Because I also kind of feel-good now after telling you about my problems."
Max and I talked more about our situations; we felt closer to each other because we were both going through hard times and trying to find inner peace. Even though we got to the island in different ways, we found ourselves united by a common longing for connection and understanding.
I started telling Max about the time Ryan and I had spent here. I told him about our every adventure, every mistake, and every blunder, to which sometimes he burst into laughter and sometimes he showed his concern. Finally, the walls of loneliness started to crumble and were filled in with the warmth of Max's company.
While talking to each other, we started walking and reached the place where no one was there but us and the colliding waves. I panicked and turned around to get back, where we could see a few people around us. Max sensed my anxiety and kept his hand over my shoulder. "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you."
A surge of heat coursed between my legs and I immediately shook my head and started walking back to the crowded section of the beach with speed. I stepped on a buried, stone in the sand. I lost my balance and was about to fall to the ground when Max abruptly protected me from falling and took me into his strong arms.
I immediately closed my eyes when I lost my balance but when I didn't tumble to the ground, I opened my eyes and found myself nestled in his arms. I got frozen in this sensual moment. Max's one hand rested on my shoulder and the other on my waist. He was looking at me and I couldn't take my eyes off him.
After a long eyelock, Max smiled and tucked my hair behind my ear. His was electrified and I started to have the urge to have Max's hands all over my body. I gasped when my eyes fell on his lips. I licked my bottom lip because I wanted to nibble his bottom lip.
I felt attractive to him and it was new for me because it wasn't my first meeting with Max. His smile started to faint and was replaced by the same urge I was feeling. I understood his intense expressions. He cupped my face once again and sent jolts of excitement through my veins. Due to the tenderness in his touch, a wave of uncertainty washed over me.
I wanted him to kiss me forever. Max leaned in, and when he hovered his lips over mine, a surge of reality hit me. I stepped back. He ran his hand through his hair and his expression was a mix of hurt and surprise.
After a long, awkward silence, I decided to resume talking and break this sensual tension between us. "How about we head back to my hotel and tell Ryan about your presence?"
Max shrugged with rolling eyes. "Yeah, sure."
The attraction and tension between us were undeniable but Max changed his warm attitude to something as icy as Antarctica toward me. My heart sank because I wanted him to chase me, beg for me, or argue with me for stepping back at the last moment. These kinds of urges I am newly discovering inside me. Surprisingly, I never felt like this ever before. I mean, I have been with Ryan for almost four years. I never wanted him to be harsh with me, I never wanted him to manhandle me, to go against my will but with Max. I feel rebellious and wild.
Denying all my urges, I headed back to the hotel and went straight to Ryan. I wanted Max to meet Ryan because I wanted him to feel jealous. I wanted to ignite something in Max so that he would react the way I wanted.
I kissed Ryan intensely, and he was taken aback because we never kissed in front of people like this. Ryan held me by the waist and sealed the kiss by licking my lips and when we broke our kiss, I saw Max's bulging veins on his temples.
I thought I would feel accomplished when Max got jealous after my kiss but I found myself torn between Ryan and Max. My love for Ryan is unquestionable but my desire for Max is also undeniable.
The conflicting emotions swirled within me, a tumultuous storm of loyalty and longing that threatened to consume me. I cleared my throat and pointed at Max. "Ryan, look who I found on the island?"
Ryan smiled and held out his hand. "Max, nice to see you, man but what are you doing here?"
Before Max responded, I intervened. "I asked the same question to him but he was here for his bachelorette."
Ryan opened his mouth but his band called him to resume the practice as there were a few hours left for the event. Ryan pressed his lips. "I have to go back."
Max nodded. "Of course."
Ryan kissed me and suggested that I roam around with Max. We are both alone and I could help Max with sightseeing. Max responded. "You don't worry, man, please go and practice. We can talk after the event."
Ryan invited Max to the event before heading back to the event.
I waved at Ryan and when we walked out of the room, Max pinned me to the wall. "What the fuck was that?"
I was taken aback. "What?"
Max clenched his jaw. "Don't you dare to deny what you were trying to do?"
I looked into his eyes. "So, it worked."
I thought Max was going to respond but his lips crashed on mine right outside the room where my boyfriend was practicing his guitar. My heart beat in harmony with the guitar Ryan was playing. A beautiful symphony of emotions swirled in my gut. Max's tongue parted my lips and explored my mouth while giving me strokes. It felt like Max was sucking my soul from my mouth.
Max abruptly broke the kiss when someone came out of the room. The moment he heard the doorknob, he backed off, and I immediately adjusted my dress and hair. When that person walked past us, Max smirked. "Just you and me for the rest of the day."
Max and I spent the day roaming around the island together. We talked less and struggled more to refrain from taking our hands off each other. At first, it was an attraction but by the end, it had shaped into a dark desire.
There were multiple times when I had an uncontrollable desire to kiss him, but I shrugged off those feelings and started chatting about something else instead. There were moments when he held my hand while we were crossing roads or walking a hill, and he looked at me in a way that was hard for me to ignore. Those were the moments I knew he also wanted to do exactly the same thing I wanted him to do with me.
Max and I were witnessing a beautiful sunset while sitting on a cliff. We were sitting at a distance to avoid our mutual tumultuous storm inside us. The sky is emitting a range of colors, from orange to pink and blue to purple. I was lost in the beauty of nature when Max came closer and sat next to me. I was taken aback when he leaned into me. I tried to find a reason to leave him, but this time he stopped me in the exact way I wanted him to handle me in the morning.
Max pulled me toward him and whispered in my ear. "Bree, I know you want me to chase you but for this, you have to run."
I looked at him in shock and he continued. "Run, Bree, what are you thinking?"
Once again, I looked at him and he nodded to show his understanding of my desire. I smiled and stood up like a wild child. I started running and after a while, Max started to chase me. His stomping steps sent shivers down my spine. I like being a prey and I like being chased by someone as wild as Max. A surge of wild emotions swirled through my body. I knew where I should I be headed.
I ran towards Max's hotel and started finding his room, as he told me his room number in the morning while walking on a beach. The moment I reached his room, Max shoved me inside and pressed against the door of Max's room. Both were breathing heavily; both were drenched in sweat but that sweat mixed with our desires and resulted in a beautiful pleasure that we were having. He ripped my thong and lifted one of my legs. He started spanking me, and it caused me to moan.
Max asked me while plunging his finger inside my throbbing core. "Tell me, what do you want, Bree?"
I was unable to answer because I was having euphoric pleasure from his finger inside me.
Once again, he whispered in my eyes. "If I don't get the responses, I will take out my finger and leave you restless."
I immediately whined, "No, please."
Max shook his head. "For all the time, how did you manage to hide this evil inside you?"
I responded with my heavy breathing. "First slam yourself inside me and I will tell."
Max chuckled and continued to move his finger inside me until my muscles clenched and I juiced his finger with my forbidden desire. I felt like he was on the verge of stroking me and he literally ripped my dress in the blink of an eye. I gasped and looked at him. "What am I going to wear while heading back to my room?"
Max winked. "We'll think about it later."
He turned me to the wall and slapped my back curves until I felt fire under me.
"Max, please, I need you inside."
Max turned my face toward him. My hands moved down to his track pants and I pulled them down. Then slowly and gradually, he slammed his hard shaft deep inside my core. I screamed his name with every ounce of energy left in my body as my muscles began to stretch. Max held me by the waist with one hand and his one hand on my neck to grip me tight and the way he was moving his lower body, I told him in my trembling voice, "Ahhh, ...I feel so good...hm"
I buried my fingers in my hair as my second orgasm burst out. After a few minutes, Max and I screamed together. I leaned my head against the door and then he cursed and slammed his head onto my back.
After a while, I started hearing the concert music and as soon as I heard the guitar, I hurriedly slipped myself into a shirt he was wearing early and was about to unlatch the door. Max called me. "Bree, listen."
I turned around and tipped my head.
Max asked. "Are you going to attend my wedding?"
I smirked. "Why wouldn't I?"
Max raised his brow and I saluted him with my two fingers and stormed out of his room. I immediately slipped into one of my shorts and a crop top. When I joined the concert, I realized Ryan was already looking for me but when he found me I waved at him and blew a kiss. I enjoyed every bit of the event and now I will come back to the city with no ambiguous thoughts about me and Ryan.
After two days, I stood by my best friend's side as her bridesmaid, and when the officiant asked Max whether or not he would be faithful to his wife, I didn't look at him but instead looked downward and smiled.
