Ah yes the famous Academy of Fate, the school were you learn how to overcome your fears and learn how to adventure. Every enchanter's dream school, I mean who would want to go?
Actually I can answer that question for you, Nova Aber that's who.

"It hasn't even been a day and I'm already lost!"

You see Nova had always been terrified of well everything, and her familiar isn't helping either.

"Well it is a big rich school, did you really not expect getting lost? Man what if you get in trouble on the first day for being late?"

As on cue her familiar, which she named Felix, started pestering her. Of course Nova hated this and tried to make him stop. Although she tried she also miserably failed.

"Y-Your not helping! What if I get detention? Mother will be so disappointed!"

"Do I actually look like a care?
Nope, us cats don't care about you guys, we just mind our own business."

As soon as the words left Felix's mouth, Nova started to pick at her bows that held her red hair. Curling them, twirling them, then eventually pulling them.

" If you keep doing that you'll eventually ruin your hair ya know."

" I-I know I just-"

As soon as Nova was about to retaliate, something caught her eye: a boy about her age....in a tree. The little boy had seemingly crashed into the tree as his round dragon was also stuck in a tree.

" Wow what a bunch of idiots...crashing into a tree like that.
Man that tree is so big, how could they not see that?"

"Felix don't say that!
What if they need help?"

When Nova thought this, she started running to help the boy while Felix flew after her. When they got to the tree Nova saw that the boy was hanging to the tree by his overalls.

"Excuse me!
Help me please!"

Although the boy "asked" for help, it sounded more like a command then a question, but of course Nova still wanted to get them down. Well...tried to get him down, the tree was soaring above Nova and she is only so tall.

"Jesus Christ you're so useless!"

"I don't see y-you doing anything Felix!"

"Fine then I will!"

Felix flew up to tree where the boy was, and cut the said boy's overalls with the cat's sharp nails. Obviously Felix did not think his idea through, because as soon as he cut the overalls the boy started to fall to his doom. Thankfully Nova was underneath him so she caught him.

"Wow I know I'm small, but I didn't know I was small enough to fit in somebody's arms. Hello there,I'm Peyton!"

Could this be? Nova's first time cupid will shoot her heart and the last because obviously Peyton is her soulmate!- Or is she overthinking this like with everything else? Felix saw this and started to snicker, but oh no karma loves to hit him back because the round dragon from before (remember them from earlier,) fell right on top of him.

"I-I um my name i-is Nova!"

"Noice to meet u but, uh, can you drop me now?"

Embarrassed Nova dropped Peyton immediately, which hurt Peyton. They sat up and started to rub their head.
Which caused Nova to worry.

"Oh gosh I'm sorry!"

"Nah it's fine, I did tell you to drop me."

Now here is where I'm going to speed things up a little. Their love story is so sweet it'll make you have twelve cavities. To give you information, Nova and Peyton became friends, and then eventually best friends, and now more, and here we are.

Nova sat down on the school's wall next to Peyton. She tried to inch closer to them, but stopped when they turned around.

"Is this right?"

"What do you mean is this right?
Of course it is, why wouldn't it be?"

Peyton thought long and hard,as to not hurt her feelings. When theh eventually came up with an answer, Peyton tried to word it to be harmless.

"Well...my mom always told me that 'this', well this is bad. I-I guess I always believed her but now that I'm with you, I don't know, it just feels...right."

"Are you talking about us dating?
Hehe does she not want her son to date a girl? In fact you're so charming and interesting I don't know how you haven't had a girlfriend before."

"Wait, what do you mean by son?"

"You know, you?"

This is where the line breaks, Nova's heart shattered into billions of pieces when she heard Peyton finally speak.

"..I'm a girl, are you messing with me?"

A girl..........a girl???
How in the world did Nova fall in love with a girl? Is it bad though?

"N-no that's not r-right!"

"Heh Nova, you're starting to stutter again, you said you only stutter when you are stressed, are you ok?"

There, that's what pained her heart, Peyton knows her so well, but Nova got something wrong that was a simple gender?

"Are you actually serious, Nova?
I don't mind if you thought I was a boy, my relatives do that too, but you still love me, right?"

Nova thought really long, how could she love a girl? She loved Peyton for her personality, her choppy black hair, so why is she hesitating?
Would her mother even approve her?
All these questions made the answer clear for her.

"Yes, yes I do still love you!"

"Oh.... I'm- wait did you say yes?"

"Yes! I love everything about you!"

Nova tackled Peyton into a loving hug.
Of course they fell of the wall they were sitting on, but good thing it wasn't a high wall,but only 3 ft tall.

The first story took me 4 days and it's not even that long, well here it is!
