In the Past

I don't know what I'm doing here

So weeeeeeeee. Also the beginning is something I got from the wiki so yeah.

This is probably very short, cause I suck at writing. Sooooooooo sorry?

Praxus, the technological and cultural center of Cybertron. It even held a prominent place in Cybertron's political area. It was home to traders and merchant and its architect reflected Praxus traditions.

Oh how the great fall.

That's what Shadowblade thought seeing the ruins of the city. What could've been here home if it wasn't for the war. Now it's nothing more than a wasteland of destroyed buildings and the corpses of its residents. Shadowblade felt rage, not of the fact she never got to live in Praxus.

She was mad, because this was where she was lied to and had lived that lie for her life.

Shadowblade knows she would never remember that day, but she had a vivid guess on how it went. Barricade finds her in the rumble, and promises he'd take care of her. Boy, how wrong he was? She thought he meant that he wouldn't lie about who truly destroyed Praxus, but that's exactly what he did. And now she has to suffer the consequences.

Shadowblade never knew who she was after learning the truth. Being an Autobot would mean going against the mech that not only saved her, but raised her. Though Barricade lied, he still cared for her and was the closest to a sire. He never forced her in training, always defended on the idea of her staying, even going as far to ignore battles to spend time with her.

But staying a con, meant she continued living the lie, betraying the people the Decepticons had killed. Shadowblade didn't want to live that life. She would become one of them, kill others and work for a tyrant. She didn't want to live that life. She wanted to avenge those lives lost in Praxus and all of Cybertron.

And that's where Shadowblade, at the very border. She looks out at the debris that was Praxus. She couldn't help, but wish that it wasn't there. It felt as though the destroyed city itself was taunting her. She couldn't stand it and wanted to leave, but she couldn't. Shadowblade needed this. She needed to remember that faith full day.

Shadowblade walked the dark purple halls of Shockwave's lab. She was told to stay here as Barricade needed to go on patrol, and didn't wanted her alone. Though Shadowblade knew he didn't doubt her fighting skills, she had much to learn.

As the young praxian explores the hall of the one eyed mad scientist, she grew more and more bored. Before walking around, Shockwave had told her explicitly to not touch anything, and he meant when he said there'll be consequences.

Shadowblade knew very well he wouldn't hurt her, but not because he cared about her. Shockwave had shown strong hate for her, being young, he thought she would be a handful and distract him from his work. Shadowblade never interacted with the con when she was a sparkling, but he still hated her.

She knew she wouldn't get hurt would be because Barricade would be furious. Anyone who tried to do anything to hurt Shadowblade, he would hurt them instead. And brutally he did, nearly killed one mech. Though that didn't mean she did things purposely to get in trouble, she just wanted to have fun. And being stuck in a base during a war is boring as scrap.

Finally be bored beyond belief, she walked into a room. Shadowblade took one look around and immediately knew she was somewhere important. In front of her, was a large computer. Shadowblade knew she shouldn't touch it, but who's gonna notice? Shockwave was busy with whatever he does. Probably trying to contact the Nemesis, for the hundredth time. He never seems to give up after the Nemesis and Ark left Cybertron. (Cause he's a simp >:>)

Shadowblade walked to the computer and turned it on. Seeing loads of files, Shadowblade skimmed through them. She wanted to find something interesting. But the things there seemed pretty boring. They were mainly things like supplies, cities, and other military stuff. Before getting bored again, a file caught her attention

Something about the destruction of Praxus.

Shadowblade stares at the file for a long while. Why would the cons have a file about this? Barricade told her that it was the Optimus Prime and his Autobots. Maybe it was about the destruction or something. Without second thought, she opened the file and found a video recording. She pressed play.

"Barricade, status? How many survivors were found?" The voice of Megatron came through first.

"Only one survivor found. Though I had a run in with Prowl, Smokescreen, Bluestreak. By they didn't bother." Barricade responded.

Megatron hummed in agreement. "Did you kill them? I told you I want no survivor."

Shadowblade stopped the recording right there. Her optics were wide and her hands trembled. She didn't need to hear the rest to guess what really happened at Praxus that day. She was to deep in her thoughts to hear the door close behind her. But she heard the voice.

"So you finally learned the truth?"

Shadowblade whirled around to see Shockwave standing infront of the closed door. His gun was aiming straight at her spark.

"I knew Barricade not telling you would result in this. But in the end, I would've done this either way." He said, a manic tone in his voice.

Shadowblade couldn't move in time and Shockwave fired the gun. Her entire world went black.

Shadowblade knew she should've died right there. But Primus must saw fit she had to live. Lucky for her, Shockwave threw her out of the base and left her there to die. But what happened next shocker her.

Autobots help her. Well, one Autobot did. Shadowblabe never got the bots name. But she remembered they were a pink femme. She was very kind and was stern. Sounded like a leader if Shadowblade ever heard one. Megatron was known to just shout and expect everything to go his way.

Without even realizing it, Shadowblade had started walking through the rumble. She didn't mean to, but it was happening. She stop in front what looked like the ruins of a political building, it still leaning on its supports but falling slowly.

"I could've lived here. Who knows, maybe I could've been like Barricade and worked as a police officer." She spoke out loud. "But of course, my sire was part of the very mechs to destroy it. Oh how ironic."

Shadowblade walked closer to the ruin building until she stood right in front of it. She gentle placed her hand on the wall and closed her optics.

Taking a breath, she continued.

"I believed you cared about me, to not lie to me, to not be the monster you were actually. But you were, and this is the consequences." She spoke. "But I won't be a traitor to you like the traitor you were to me. I won't join the Autobots. I'll be fighting for myself."

Shadowblade turned away from the building and looked up at the stars.

"I'll find the Ark and the Nemesis. I'll find out what happened and try to be the bot I want to be. Not the killer I was intended to be."

Without sparing a glance, she transformed and drove away.

(As you see, this is trash and was rushed. I'll try better with the next one. It'll be one with Torch and Tornado.)
