Full House
"Jack...are you okay?"
Jackaboy watched Jack warily as the Irishman shook his head, Schneep exchanging a concerned look with the hero before guiding Jack to the couch.
"There's a fucking zoo in my house." Jack mumbled in disbelief, his gaze falling to the floor.
"I have a dog! His name's Chad." Chase interjected excitedly to lighten the mood, Jack grunting as the overexcited puppy hopped into his lap.
"Hey Chad!" Jack laughed, struggling to lean his head back to avoid getting licked in the face.
"He kinda looks like Gizmo." Jack remarked softly, his expression faltering slightly as he hugged Chad close.
"Chad's a good bro, Jackaboy helped pay for him." Chase added happily as Chad hopped back onto the floor, the hero shrinking back as Jack turned to look at him.
"You not only let them all buy pets, but you helped Chase buy one?!" Jack blurted incredulously.
"It's my fault."
Jack looked over at Anti when he spoke, the glitch carefully moving Danger from his head to rest on his shoulder.
"I left the house without everyone else, I went into the pet store, and I bought a snake even though Jackaboy told me not to." Anti continued stoically, his body glitching slightly as he bit his lip.
"Did everyone get a pet?" Jack sighed, rubbing his face with his hands in exasperation as everyone in the room nodded.
"This is Danger, but he's not really that dangerous." Anti introduced, Jack scooting farther away from the snake as it hissed quietly at him.
"It's been nice having something to keep me company vhen I am vorking late at night." Schneep spoke up tentatively, holding Laughter out towards Jack.
"His name is Laughter, he doesn't bite." Schneep continued as Jack reached out towards the rabbit, gently petting his soft fur.
"Robbie have Ham!" Robbie exclaimed, earning a confused look from the Irishman as he glanced over at Jackaboy.
"He has a hamster he named Ham." Jackaboy explained, Jack nodding in understanding as Robbie showed the Irishman the small ball of golden fur in his hands.
"No one got a fucking tarantula, right?" Jack asked nervously, everyone nodding again much to the Irishman's relief.
"What other animals are here?" Jack prompted, plastering a forced smile on his face while the egos exchanged looks with each other.
Jameson stepped forward with his parakeets as they chirped happily together, Jack's mood seeming to brighten slightly.
"This is Carl, he's a ferret." Jackaboy chimed in, retrieving the sleeping ferret from his hood to show him to Jack.
Carl groggily opened his eyes before scurrying our of Jackaboy's hands, the ferret scampering around the house.
"Shit!" Jackaboy and Chase cursed in unison, Chad chasing after Carl with the two egos in tow to catch them.
"While they're busy with that, you can meet Draíocht." Marvin offered, retreating to his room before returning with the cat padding alongside him.
Jack opened his mouth to speak before he paused and sneezed multiple times in succession, Schneep frowning in confusion as he exchanged a look with Marvin while Draíocht hopped onto Jack's lap.
"Are you still allergic to cats?" Schneep asked Jack, the Irishman nodding as he kept sneezing.
Jameson looked closer at Jack's eyes and pointed at them frantically, Schneep kneeling in front of Jack.
"Jameson's right, zhere is something wrong vith your eyes...zhey are turning red." Schneep observed, Jack managing to stop sneezing for a moment.
"Yeah, it's part of my allergies." Jack sniffed, tears rapidly forming in his eyes before spilling down his face.
"Marvin, get Draíocht out of here!" Jackaboy snapped as he returned with Carl in his hands, Marvin hastily scooping the cat up and returning them to his room.
"Sorry about Draíocht, I forgot you were allergic to cats." Marvin apologized sheepishly, Jameson retrieving a box of tissues for Jack as he started to recover.
"It's-" Jack broke off as he sneezed again, blinking the tears out of his eyes. "Fine." Jack finished, sniffing once more as he tossed the used tissues in the trash and sat back down on the couch.
"Jack, please don't get rid of-"
Jackaboy fell silent as Jack held up a hand, weariness etched into his features as his red rimmed eyes looked into the hero's.
"I just got off of a plane a few minutes ago worrying that something had gone wrong, but nothing did. Instead, it seems like a lot of good things has happened since I left." Jack paused to let his words sink in, his gaze scanning the faces of the egos.
"That being said, I'm tired as fuck and I need to take a shower to get the cat hair off of me." Jack replied, standing up before sneezing again.
"So...does that mean we can keep the pets?" Jackaboy asked hopefully, the Irishman pausing in front of his door before glancing back at the group of egos.
"As long as you all take care of them and keep Draíocht far from me." Jack replied, walking into his room with a sneeze to get ready to shower.
