It was 11 o clock on a icy cold winter night, i went for a walk while my family was camping and i got seperated from them. I've been searching for them for what seemed like hours and now i'm trapped in the shadows of the trees surrounding me. The pounding of my heart is echoeing through my chest as the night was closing in and i could see a speck of the moonlight from the distance. Alone and afraid, i continued on which seemed like a shortcut but i knew in my head whichever way i go, that's where my fate will be.

I could feel my blood freezing as the howling of a wolf caught my attention, i started to run but the howling intensified and increased with duration and volume, my face became flushed and hot from my blood boiling within me. The howling felt so close yet it was so far. I looked around anxiously, but no one was there, not a single soul and then i heard it again....

A voice, unknown to man, thundered through my ears and the waves of the horrific sound encircled me all round and trapped me like a hunter hunting for its prey. Mixed emotions and feelings of fear and dread overwhelmed me. My palms became sweaty and i was unable to grip to grip onto my surroundings. Tears built up in me and released out from my eyes. They blinded me of the monsters that in the darkness among the bushes of this wretched forest.

I walked and walked but the land ahead looked like it was getting longer rather than shorter. I glanced around, i called, but no one answered and no one was there to save me. i was lost....

My mind raced around in hope for sanctuary but i couldn't see anything around, and soon enough, it started raining.

The rain showered down and drowned down my thoughts which sent me into an panicky state, i was entranced by the dancing of the droplets as they whirled around me like fireflies, they gave me comfort and peace but they also made it more difficult to see around me so they also had my guard down. I was in a hypnosis as one raindrop went into my eye. It stung but it didn't last for long.

That one single drop was like a kiss and a power to numb all my nerves and i was in a calm state, i once felt detached and not myself or in my own body anymore.

A gust of wind rained down from the sky and it entangled me within its speed, it hurled me slowly towards the left and i just let it took over me. I was totally not in control of myself anymore as the elements took over. Thunder rose from the clouds and lightning struck everywhere from the top of the storm, it was electrifying and terrifying, it put all those who cast their eye on it into a strance, it made them be put under its spell

I continued being carried until i tripped.

i fell into a pit and sprained my ankle. My wound made me hiss in pain and i soon gained conscienceness of myself again. The pain ached throughout my body and the trees were screaming at me, mocking me and by now i just wanted to be with my family again.
