Woah
Jerry hummed as he wrapped a small box with a beautiful bow. He made sure it was wrapped nicely before heading out of his room and down the stairs.
Max meanwhile was playing a video game on the tv screen. "You suck!" Amelio laughed as he continued beating up his father's character on screen. Max growled, "You're just cheating!! You keep spamming the same move over and over again!! That's not fair!" Amelio cackled over his father's whining as he won again by knocking his character off screen. "It's not cheating if it works. Pacman is OP anyways" he smirked towards him. Max huffed as he collapsed back against the sofa. "fine! I'll play a different character!" Amelio snickered before noticing his mother linger by the doorway. Jerry smiled at him and held up the box, slyly motioning his head towards upstairs. Amelio grabbed a coke that was lingering on the coffee table before getting up, setting his controller down saying, "Eh, I'm actually pretty tired. Might call Shadow in a little bit too" he took a swig as he started leaving. Max huffed, "Fine! But we're rematching tomorrow!" He huffed out before noticing Jerry. "Oh, Hey babe!" He smiled happily at seeing Jerry.
Jerry cooed at him as he hid the present well behind his back. "How are you?" Max sat upright before saying, "Totally awesome! I was just playing games with my boy" he smirked about to continue before Jerry spoke up, "And Losing?" He finished cheekily for him while walking over to where he was sitting. Max pouted at him, "Well it didn't really go like that" he murmured causing Jerry to laugh softly. Max huffed at him before holding out his arms. Jerry immediately sat in his lap, hiding the present behind Max's back smoothly as he planted a kiss on his lips.
Max happily accepted the kiss as Jerry pulled back. "How are you?" Jerry pushed their foreheads together as Max sighed. "Mmm, good? You?" Jerry smiled as he gave a kiss on his chin, "Ecstatic" Max raised an eyebrow, clearly suspicious, "Oh?" He looked around, "Why?"
Jerry laughed before bringing out the box, "Because today's our anniversary" Jerry laughed harder as he watched Max's face contort to surprise, happiness, panic and grief. "I.. forgot?" He mumbled. Jerry will admit, Max never forgot their anniversary before and it was usually Jerry who forgot most things. "Haha! You did!! And I didn't!!" Jerry grinned happily at him. Max, clearly confused, asked, "Why are you cheering?? That's not a good thing??" Jerry snickered as he opened the box, he pulled out a ring band and put it on Max's finger. "Yeah, well. It's the only day I can revel in the fact that I remembered our anniversary first then you" he stuck his tongue out playfully.
Max looked at the ring and snickered, "Have you been keeping score??" He stared at the numbers on the band, laughing softly. Jerry smirked, "Hell yeah! I have one more number than you!!" He laughed as Max rubbed his temples, "I can't believe you" Jerry giggled and gave him kisses all over his face. "I love you so much" Max laughed as he gave a peck on his lips. "I also love you so much"
