Felix tapped his desk with his pencil, he huffed, bored out of his mind. He thought back to why he even took this job in the first place.

"They won't let me live with you" Tyler sniffled, rubbing his face. Felix held onto him, scoffing. "What is it this time? I have a house, I have money to take care of you! We live in a safe neighborhood. What's going on now?" Tyler buried his face in his chest, "I-it's because you don't have a job" He rubbed his face more. Felix gasped, "What?! I have money!!" Tyler shook his head, "I know, I know, but my parents think you're a deadbeat." He hiccuped, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Felix sighed and kissed his forehead, "No, No. I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at your parents. They think they own you!"

Tyler sniffled and frowned, "Yeah... I'm sorry" Felix groaned and hugged him more, "Stop apologizing for them. You have nothing to apologize for." He sighed loudly, "I guess.. I can get like a job. Or something" Tyler wiped his tears away, "Y-you'd do that?" Felix kissed his nose. "For you. I'm only doing it, for you" Tyler smiled through his tears and gave him a kiss, which Felix happily kissed back.

Felix smiled, thinking back. "Ugh, this is gonna be so boring" He commented under his breath. He took this office job because it was easy and it seemed close enough to manage. What he didn't know was the constant office meetings he was gonna have to attend. So here he was, sitting in a meeting with other boring old men as they talked about supplies and whatnot. They tried to engage in conversation with him at one point, but one glare had them turning the other way.

When it looked like the meeting was about to wrap up, something about the boss not showing up, the door to the office opened and a tall young man came in. Felix dropped his pencil at he stared at him.

The man smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry for being late. Had to take my kid to school." He looked at Felix and gave a warm smile, making Felix feel butterflies in his stomach. "I see we have a new face! Nice to meet you, I'm Johnathan. John for short, of course." He walked over to Felix and held out his hand. Felix took it and shuddered at the strong grip he had as they both shook hands. "Now that introductions are out of the way" he turned towards everyone. "Let's resume the meeting, shall we?" His smile lit up the entire room.

Felix gulped softly and looked away. 'Maybe this job won't be so bad after all'
