John stood nervously with flowers at hand. "I should've gone with roses" he muttered to himself.

"Gone with what?" A voice perked up from beside him. He jumped slightly before shoving the yellow tulips into their face, "These are for you!" He shouted nervously.

Tyler, the person that just got their face covered in flowers, laughed as they grabbed the yellow tulips. "Thank you" Tyler sniffed the tulips happily before smiling at him, "How are you?" John felt his face flush before nervously replying, "I-I'm doing g-great! W-what about you?!" He cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his neck. Tyler smiled softly, grabbing his arm gently, "I'm doing great. Thank you for asking"

John smiled before grabbing their hand, "I'm sorry. I'm pretty nervous" Tyler grinned, "I barely noticed" they whispered. John smiled wider, squeezing their hand before pulling them along towards a restaurant, "I-I uh.. wanted to take you out to a nice restaurant. It's not really exquisite, but-" Tyler stopped him by leaning against him, "I'll be happy wherever you take me" John felt his face flush again before pulling them inside the restaurant.

Unfortunately, John only managed one foot into the door when alarms blared out. Tyler and John both turned towards the bank down the street. Three masked men jumped into a car and drove away, running through multiple red lights. John gasped, getting ready to leave before stopping and looking at Tyler. Tyler smiles softly at him before nodding.

John smiled, giving them a kiss on their forehead before flying off. Tyler felt their face flush, covering their mouth.

"Fuuuuuck! He's so hot!!" Felix voiced out. "God I wanted so badly to tear through his suit!!" Tyler turned away, blushing heavily. "Felix, shut up" Tyler muttered. Felix scoffed, 'I can't help it! He's so delicious~' Tyler felt their face flush. "Then why are you always teasing him when you steal?" Felix snorted, 'I love him chasing me down'

Tyler snorted softly, covering their mouth before running towards their door. "Just- We'll try again tomorrow" Felix smiled, 'Can't wait~'

I think I've said this before, but this was definitely the main reason why Linda divorced John. So John is absolutely a nervous wreck with Tyler because he's scared of his superhero work getting in the way of his relationships. It's his one insecure.
