Felix stared at the meal in front of him, perplexed. He looked over to John at the far end of the table, slowly eating the home cooked meal in front of him.

He wasn't mad at John for attacking Tyler, he didn't even hurt him. Tyler was just scared, but after that small incident, John was acting rather... distant lately. He didn't understand, he had his prince husband, his smoking hot dragon boyfriend and a new baby boy. So why wasn't everything back to normal? Felix watched John again.

John started feeding Gage a little bit of rice as he babbled and munched on his finger. John smiled softly as he continued to feed him. Felix smiled at the display before getting up and walking over to him. "John" he said softly. He noticed John tense up.

He decided not to comment on it, thinking John probably thought Felix was upset with him, which couldn't be more further from the truth. "Yeah?" He replied, not looking at him. Felix put a hand on Gage's head, softly petting him, "I can watch Gage if you want a break. I think he should meet his other dad, hm?" He smiles at Gage making him giggle and smile back.

John abruptly stood up, making Felix look at him, before nodding his head. "Sure! Y-yeah! I'm gonna go get more food! Mmhm!" He spoke rapidly, avoiding all eye contact, before leaving the room. Felix fumbled over his words before calling out, "Be careful!! We're still close to the palace so keep a low profile!!" He shouted all at once, hearing the front door slam.

Nat walked into the room, "What's with all the yelling?" He scratched his hair, confused. Felix shrugged, "John went to get more food so I had to warn him" Nat made an 'oh' face before smiling, "So you all had something to eat?" Felix nodded, picking Gage up from his make-shift chair. "Yeah" he told him, giving small kisses to the side of his face. Gage giggled and rubbed his head into his neck.

"When do you think we'd be ready to leave?" Nat asked as he brushed some hair out of Gage's face. Felix hummed thoughtfully, "Let me get Tyler caught up and then when John gets back. We'll leave" Nat smiled and nodded before heading back towards his room. Felix smiled before taking Gage to his room where Tyler was resting.

"Who's gonna meet their new papa? You are! You are!" He cooed at Gage as he lifted him up in the air. Gage giggled happily as he copied Felix's words, "baba! Baba!" He chanted as he wagged his little dragon tail. Felix beamed as he opened the door and stepped inside.

John doesn't even get back until like midnight and he's got like three dead bears and five deer carcasses. He just kinda leaves them by the hotel and the hotel just accepts that as payment, lol
