Amelio fixed his hair up as much as he could. "Hey!" Jerry called out from the bathroom. "Hurry up! You only have 5 minutes!" Amelio squeaked before opening the door, "Why didn't you tell me before?!"

Jerry huffed, "That's not my job!" He leant forward and sniffed him. "And you still smell like peanut butter!" Amelio pouted and grabbed Jerry by his shoulders, "No time to worry about that, Mom! Shadow could kill me if I don't show up on time! Who am I kidding, could? He definitely will!"

Jerry sighed before kissing his cheek, "Calm down. I'll get you there on time" he grabbed his hand. "C'mon! Before I throw you over there" Amelio smiled happily before following after his Mother.

Shadow tapped his foot impatiently as he kept glancing at the clock. His stomach was in knots and he kept wanting to text Koda. "This won't be our first date, but I want it to be a perfect date" he mumbled out to himself. "There's nothing wrong with that right?" He got up from his seat and paced back and forth. "I don't think so sir" a voice piped up from behind him.

Shadow wants to say he didn't scream out in fear, but that's exactly what happened. Ester tilted his head at him, keeping his face neutral, but there was slight amusement in his voice, "My apologies. Are you alright?" Shadow covered his face in embarrassment before muffling out, "Why are you still here?" Ester shrugged, "I'm merely the butler" Shadow shook his head before looking at him, "My Papa didn't take you??" Ester shook his head, "Well No, but he did offer. I refused. I decided it was best if I stayed in case you needed help" Ester walked over and cleaned up his hair, patting it gently down. "You don't have to worry. Amelio's a..." He squinted his eyes in thought, "...very easy person to please"

Shadow pouted, "Don't judge my taste in men" Ester opened his mouth to say something before a new voice chimed in.

"No, No. He's right. I am a very easily amazed" Amelio's voice echoed through the house... at least that's what Shadow imagined as he snapped his entire body to look at him. "When- what- Huh??" Shadow stumbled, feeling his face burn. Amelio smiled and walked over, grabbing his hands, "Hello my love! I tried to get here as fast as possible! So I used my dad's teleportation" he grinned happily.

Shadow raked his eyes over him. His suit had wrinkles everywhere, they were slightly too big on him and he smelled like peanut butter. Shadow took a deep breath before hugging him tightly, "I'm so glad you're here" Amelio wrapped his arms around him instantly, giving him small kisses on the side of his face. Ester smiled warmly at them both, "Guess I should show you both to the kitchen?" He questioned. Shadow buried his face in Amelio's neck before nodding.

Amelio raised an eyebrow, "But why? I know where the kitchen is" he points to the direction of the kitchen, "It's over there!" Ester kept smiling as he slowly pushed the two boys over to the kitchen, "It's only formalities, Amelio. It's only for show" Amelio blinked before nodding in understanding, "Ah. I get it" he scratches his cheek before leaning into Shadow, "What?"

Shadow snorted before kissing his cheek, "Just sit down and look perfect" Amelio gave him a thumbs up, "I can sit down! But I can't guarantee that I'll be perfect" he sat down in one of the chairs. Shadow gave another quick kiss to his forehead, "You're perfect to me" Amelio gave him a goofy, loving smile, placing both his hands neatly on the table. Slightly admiring how nice the table looked before Shadow sat across from him. "I love you" Shadow mumbled softly. Amelio perked up at him, "I love you too!" He spoke out happily before turning to Ester. "Now! I'd like to hear the specials please"

Ester smiled softly, "Take your pick. I can make them all" Amelio rubbed his hands together, "Don't tempt me!" He told him, making Shadow laugh softly.

I really do think Amelio breaks Shadow out of his perfect stupor because Amelio is so chaotic, it's charming. Shadow loves him and he's far from perfect. He's messy, silly, lazy, not that smart and he loves a lot. (And has a lot of mental problems, lol) but he loves Shadow just as much and would do anything for him. God of Order and God of Chaos, boom!
