Nightmare

Eddie

     Ever since nightmare met Eddie she always wondered how he became a zombie. This question kept nagging her until one night she decided to figure it out herself, by using her powers. She hated violating Peoples privacy by going to the through their past but she had to do it,so she could understand people better.

          Nightmare waited till the day when Eddie was sleeping most of the time,of course she would be sleeping to if she wasn't going to Snoop through his dreams. As she watched him snuggle in his special acid proof bed, she wondered how his acid got so strong. She took a deep breath and gently placed her hand on his forehead. She immediately began viewing his dream. He was in an alleyway and suddenly got jumped by a group of kids.

     She watched horrified as Eddie struggled to free himself. Everytime he to escape he got punched in the face. When he finally got out, nightmare could barely recognize him. The kids dissapeared as quickly as they had appeared. Eddie wiped the blood off his face and stumbled off into the darkness of a broken lamppost.

     He then spotted something glowing in the corner and smiled. As Eddie walked up to the glowing jug,she saw that it was some sort of poison,it was glowing like it was radioactive. Eddie put the jug in his bookbag and stumbled off home. As he got home he ran to the kitchen and poured water into the jug causing is to glow more. Eddie shrugged and tears streamed down his face.

     Eddie took a pen and paper and wrote a suicide note to whoever found his body. Tears streamed down his bloody face. "I can't handle this anymore..I c-cant...no m-more pain." Stammered Eddie as he unscrewed the jug. Eddie held the jug up and drank the whole thing.

     Eddie's body began to shake violently as he coughed up green liquid. He screamed as his skin began to disintegrate right before his eyes. His body fell limp to the floor and nightmare almost screamed. Soon Eddie's dream switched to a graveyard where he was buried. It was Silent for a couple minutes before Eddie (as a zombie) crawled out of his grave in tears.

     Eddie walked to his house,which wasn't too far away. He spotted the yellow police tape around where he killed himself. His parents were crying and talking to an officer. "W-what have I d-done" said Eddie. He tried to hug them but his arms went right through them. Eddie tried again and the whole scene  disappeared.

     Eddie was left standing in his kitchen surrounded by spilled radiation and blood everywhere. Eddie grabbed the picture of his whole family that was hung up on the wall. He cried for half and hour and gently removed the picture from the frame and put it in his pocket. He slowly said goodbye to the house and wandered into the forest.

     Nightmare began crying and hugged Eddie after the dream was done. Eddie jumped and woke up. "It's ok it's me." Said nightmare before continuing to hug him.
