Dear Diary ,

July 6th

Today is my fourth day of living in the woods. I have finished unpacking everything in my cabin,and I can't wait to go fishing tomorrow. I just have to find my fishing gear and then I'm all set. I haven't found a good fishing spot yet but when I do I'll be sure keep it marked on my map.

Today I'll start exploring around my cabin to see what's around me. Hopefully I'll find good places to fish and hike. There's bait much wildlife around lately,I wonder why.

July 7th

Dear Diary,

      Today during my evening stroll around the woods near my cabin I experienced something very odd. As I was walking I spotted a blanket tucked away in the hole of a tree. In the blanket was a small infant. But this infant looked different. It's skin was very pale and had a black liquidy substance covering the top of its head. It's eyes were small and grey. Tiny stringy tendrils came out of its back.

      I knew that this was no human baby and wondered why anyone would abandon a an infant put here in the woods. I took pity on the infant and carried it in my arms. The baby woke up and cooed at me tiredly. I wasn't exactly sure what I was thinking when I decided to take the infant with me. I knew that me and Ann were discussing about having children but we weren't quite ready. Perhaps adopting this poor infant would do. I couldn't just leave it to die so I carried it home with me.

When I carried the infant home I thought about what Anne might think. Surely she'll be surprised. I thought about what to name the child since it didn't seem to have any tag stating it's name. As I arrived home and bathed the infant I looked at the inky substance that seemed to come out of its skin pores. "Tarus" I said smiling at the infant,which was a perfect name. The infant smiled when I called hit name. "How could anyone Abandon you sweet child"

July 8th

Dear Diary,

Ann has arrived and she's taken the situation,oddly. I'm not sure if she is ok with us keeping Tarus or not but I'm certain that soon enough her maternal instinct will kick in. So far she's asked me a bunch of questions and stared at Tarus strangely. I told her where I found him and explained that Tarus is definitely not human. It'll be a bit of a challenge for us to care for Tarus but I'm sure that it will be easier since there's two of us.
